Mindzai Creative ATX

This place is awesome! They are timely, responsive, and really make you feel like you are part of the family. Even though I moved to north Austin, I still take my art to these guys any time I need prints. They offer great suggestions and guidance for someone new to ordering prints and are willing to stay late if need be.

Mindzai and Urbnpop have been working together for over 6 years, and I could not think of another printer I would use. Solid staff, Great work, and most important, there word is true. If they say they will have something done, they will have it done. Awesome folks. I would recommend them over anyone, hands down.

Don’t use these guys if you don’t want to be surprised they are distributing your copyrighted artwork without permission on the back of their sponsored flyers, like for RAW ATX. it is completely unprofessional, unacceptable, and probably illegal that my art was distributed on posters while I’m trying to make a living selling my art.
This isn’t mentioning the heaps of issues I’ve had with them before– being told prints are ready when they aren’t, a 48 hr turnaround turned into a month, printing stuff as orange when the file is red (another printer had no issue), having their flyers printed on the back of prints (using test paper again for paid prints?) and not to mention the manager likes to blame the new guy (instead of taking responsibility for his business.
I had issues with them before, and posted a review, and taken down my review because it had never gone this far and they did what they could to make it up to me. This new issue is completely unacceptable and the trust between this ‘business’ and me as a customer has been decimated.
It’s disgusting how my art has been distributed without permission.
Professionals beware. Starving artists, it’s not worth and price breaks– especially if they give away posters of your work for free.

Have done business with the crew of Mindzai twice now and each time everyone has been courteous, friendly and professional. On my most recent visit I was helped by Scott (the owner) and was impressed that he took the time to help me with my project and stay in budget. Even more impressive is that he took the time even though they were really busy. They have earned my business and all 5 stars. Give them a try you won’t regret it. (On a side note it’s nice to see a business with tattooed employees/​owners making it in a creative field that are as professional and «on point» as one could ask. Destroys stereo types and that I like most of all.)

Just purchased my first Mindzai product for my boyfriend for Christmas, he’s gonna flip out about his Stormtrooper T-​shirt. I couldn’t make it to the shop during open hours but they made it easy to get my product without having to ship it. Awesome, friendly service and beautiful, high-​quality designs. (I’m picky, I’m a graphic designer). Will be buying more, probably for myself next time. Thanks y’all!

I worked over SXSW, but it ruled, because I was stationed next to the Mindzai t-​shirt silk-​screening tent.
It was amazing to see people line up all dang day just to get one of those t-​shirts. And even more amazing to see the team work so hard — silk-​screening t-​shirts is serious business — to deliver freshly made goods to the people. The lines for shirts were longer than the lines for the bar, food, and even the can. The line was constant, and they never stopped making fucking t-​shirts for the people.
The Mindzai crew made me TWO shirts, just because I asked semi-​nicely. And they are my favorite SXSW 2k14 treasures.
Mindzai produces excellent designs done by HARD-​working people in the ATX. As people, they are polite and low-​key, but the designs are in your total face. Or whatever you want them to be, they will do what you like. Go for the work ethic, stay for the quality.

I have worked with this business a couple times and had a great experience! They do great quality prints and I have always had excellent customer service. I’m not very computer savvy and so I’ve had a lot of little questions. Susannah got back to me very quickly every time and was so helpful and nice. I will definitely use this Mindzai for all my print needs in the future,
