We used to love this place. Living so close by it was so convenient. That was until I ordered the Vermicelli to-go. When I got home I started eating and I look down to see a HUGEBLACKBUG crawling up from the noodles below. They agreed to give us our money back but my family will never be eating here again.

I’ve tried many different places in Austin since I moved here looking for good Phở so I can’t confidently say that this place has one of the best! The depth of flavor in the broth is what makes it so delicious. My boyfriend and I have been several times now and never disappoints. Highly recommend the Phở at Minh’s Café!

Their Phở’s are out of this world. Great amazing food and amazing services too. They delivery after 5 or 6 within reason. I live in the arboretum off 360&183 on great hills . You must try their ice coffee, not the norm but vey traditional.

I placed an order for delivery and was given an estimated wait time of 45 – 60 min. After waiting an hour and some change, I phoned the restaurant, gave them my address, and was told the delivery driver was out and my order should arrive any minute. 30 minutes later, still no food. I then called back and asked where the order was, and they then admitted it was never made. Had they offered to prepare the food and waive the delivery order, or even pretend to care, I might have remained a patron. Needless to say, I cancelled and will not order from them again.

I definitely give this place 5 stars. LOVE their hot and sour soup, noodles, and egg rolls. I’ve only had their phở once but it’s excellent. Minh’s is super close to where I live, so I order takeout from them 3 times a week, on average — some of them know me by name and everyone is always super nice and courteous. Try their Thai iced tea and coffee! Sometimes I’ll stop in just to order one of these drinks — delicious.

Stopped in here for a lunch, you can order from the buffet or walk around to the back and have a seat and order from the menu. Grabbed #5 Ph Đc Bit — Rare eye round steak, brisket, whole flank, tripe and tendon… it came with no tendon, no tripe and only 2 different types of meat — 1 piece of flank and 3 – 4 small pieces of eye round… That’s it! — also, the bowl wasn’t even filled near the top, small bowl as well, my hand was the size of the bowl… waited 10 minutes before someone was in sight so I could ask for a water… then I go to check out, and I mention it… she says«ohh maybe we gave you the wrong bowl or he made it wrong, your total is $ 9.80» —- kidding me? Wow… On top of being the $hi*&iest bowl of Phở I have ever had, You still don’t offer to do anything about it. I should have known when I walked inside at 12:15pm and there was only 1 other person in the whole place… near a corporate areas lunch time! Walk away from this spot. oh wait, I forgot to mention the brick of rock hard noodles stuck together at the bottom of the bowl that even Superman himself would have issues prying apart…

My family and I went for dinner and very much enjoyed it. The staff was very attentive, which is often more important to me than the food(within reason). We all ordered different dishes and passed them around so everyone could sample. We left full and happy.

Really disappointed. I ordered take out a month or two ago and it was great. I ordered delivery this time and they were 20 minutes past their delivery time. I called the restaurant to see what was going on and they were very rude and not helpful at all. They told me they weren’t sure, and to just give it 30 more minutes. When the delivery got here, my food(phở) was cold and I also asked for extra meat, but there were eight pieces of meat total. It was also really bland. Ridiculous. My boyfriend ordered sesame chicken, which he liked but it was one small corner of chicken in the to go box. Needless to say, I will not eat there again.

We are new to Texas and love our Asian food. They do it right here and the service is always spot on! Have not had a bad meal! The place is clean but my only comment is it is sterile looking. I don’t go for the atmosphere, I go for the food! Nothing showy, just good food.

— weekday lunch is okay(so far) — went on Sunday evening for soup and egg roll, something quick as I wasn’t feeling well ~ BADIDEA: *hot and sour soup was not fresh, base was very dark colour, and tofu chunks were dark — they should NOT turn dark even in that type of soup *egg roll was SOGGY, GREASY, and non-edible; obviously tossed in fryer that was not hot … Prolly stick to a entrée from menu, or, drive further to another place w/dining traffic on weekends.

The chicken with lemongrass/tofu and broccoli with lemongrass is the bomb! Also, the house rolls, sesame chicken, and phở are awesome. This place is a staple in our house. Get some fire oil with your food; you won’t regret it!

Ordered delivery from here a few nights ago after they technical were closed for delivery. They brought everything in torrential rain and on time. The food was delicious I had the beef and potatoes with fried rice spicy and cream cheese wontons. The lady had a chicken and vegetable related dish. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious and great service. Will order again!

Minh’s such an amazing Chef and I love his food. For the entire 5 years I lived in Austin, I did not eat Phở anywhere except at his restaurant. So if you live up north Austin or near Riata neighborhood, definitely give this a try. What can I say, i love every single item on the menu, but if you don’t have time to eat all of them at once, here are few things that you will not be disappointed for sure: — Duck with leek and ginger — Beef and potatoes — Vermicelli or rice with grilled beef/pork(and please don’t forget to add the crispy house roll) — Vietnamese Hot & Sour soup & Cat fish clay pot combo — Chicken wings — Phở, of course — Eggplants with garlic sauce And if you’ve ever had any problem when dining in or taking out(rarely but random stuff happened from time to time), make sure you ask for Kristine — problem solver. She’ll put a smile on your face right away, believe me.

The chicken and brown sauce is amazing. I love the Vietnamese coffee. My only complaint would be how long it takes to get takeout or delivery. A delivery order on a Sunday at 7 took an hour and 45 min. When I called to see what was going on it seemed they had forgot about my order. Also we order from work and then go pick it up after about 20 min like we are told but the foods not ready and there’s no one in the restaurant so I’m not sure why it takes so long. Everyone is super friendly and the prices are reasonable.

Excellent food. The perfect mix of Vietnamese and Chinese, so there is something for every taste. Note: be sure to order off the MENU and never eat the horrid buffet. Management is too dumb to remove the horrible buffet, and they keep losing customers. Order off the menu and you practically cannot make a bad choice. Literally, everything on the menu is great: Phở, Jalapeño beef, Shrimp with Lobster sauce, Sweat and Sour Pork, you name it. And have a Vietnamese coffee on the side! Don’t forget, they deliver.

Like shrimp fried rice. If you place on online order, you have to pay extra money. Remember this.

Dumplings and Pot Stickers are a MUST! Absolutely delicious. Sesame chicken– amazing. Phở — best in Austin. If you live in Riata, you should eat at Minh’s.

I live nearby and was looking for a good«Americanized» Chinese food place. I like the familiar Asian foods you’d find at a buffet and haven’t really gotten the courage to branch out and try something truly authentic yet(like phở). I have tried a couple other places in the area and wasn’t really ever impressed. I tried this place and thought it was pretty good. I ordered takeout, and appreciated that they use foil around the entrees to keep the sauces from spilling out(something that really soured my experience at another place because the sauce got EVERYWHERE). I ordered the Happy Family house special and thought it was a wonderful mix(beef, chicken, and shrimp mixed with veggies in a brown sauce). My roommate ordered the Sesame Chicken and said it was good. We ordered a bunch of eggrolls and I’m so glad we did because they were delicious! Very crispy and not soggy or bland at all. The only thing I was slightly disappointed at was portions. I ate all my food and didn’t have any leftovers! Granted, I was starving, so that could be part of it. Anyway, this is a great take out place if you are in the area and want something familiar and reasonably priced. I’ll go back anytime I feel like I need a Chinese food fix.

My go-to place. 90% of the time, they’re not that and you’d get your food in less than 10 minutes of wait. Plus! Though phở’s on the saltier side and sesame chicken-general Tso’s almost taste the same, Minh’s is just a tastier mediocre asian food place. But the portions are enough to get me satisfied and pricing’s also not that bad. I’m not crazy about the place, but it’s good enough to keep me coming. Oh, extra star for friendly staffs!
