There are swings that hang down inside… I love swings. The cookies are soft, warm and delicious. The ice cream is soft, cold and delicious. For me the portions are a bit large and end up being too much sugar, but I’ve learned to just save one of the cookies for later and going open-​style with the sandwich. Pretty fun group dessert place, and I’ve yet to be disappointed.

A small shop nestled among other stores, restaurants and cafes on the drag. They have very tiny tables and seats (mostly for 2) not the best for large groups but I came in on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn’t too crowded. I’ve only had ice cream cookie sandwiches from 3 places and this one is by far my favorite. The cookie is just the right amount of crunchiness without being rock hard, and I got the raspberry chip ice cream which was the bomb dot com. I had a chocolate chunk and snickernoodle cookie to go with that and I was not disappointed. It also was the least messy cookie sandwich I’ve had. I would definitely return the next time I’m in Austin and in the area!

Great concept and cool store, but I just didn’t enjoy it as much as I expected. Maybe i mixed and matched the wrong combination of cookies and ice cream. Regardless, it was difficult to eat and really messy, even when compared to other ice cream sandwiches from tiffs treats or coolhaus. It definitely looks great in pictures though.

GREAT business model, solid product, friendly staff. Can’t ask for much more than that in an ice cream place! You can get different kinds of cookies (or brownie, or waffle) on either side of 1 or 2 tasty ice cream flavors. Our servers were friendly and understanding, and more than happy to let us sample multiple flavors of ice cream before our purchase. They were friendly from start to finish and the great was tasty as all get out. Try Moojo ASAP!

This place is amazing for a quick dessert date! The warm freshness of the cookie melting the ice cream in the middle is perfect for someone to snuggle their mouth on to. Inside there are these makeshift tables with petite swings as seats. Honestly, just being in this place made me blush. The location and the environment is what makes the experience as a whole worth the price (not to expensive). So if you are a little low on the college budget and really want to take that amazing date to a cozy spot try it out and message me to let me know how it goes.

I love cookies, I love ice cream, and I love waffles. So when I came here wanting an ice cream cookie sandwich, I was thrilled! And then when I saw they had mini waffles to make ice cream sandwiches, I really lost it! I ordered the waffles with vanilla bean ice cream with no add-​ons (I’m a purist lol) I would have added strawberries if they had them. Well I was disappointed, even though what I got would be considered plain, I still expected great taste. The waffle had zero flavor what so ever and because it’s thick, it completely overpowered the ice cream, which was great by the way! And I tasted the butter sugar cookie, outstanding, I’ll try that with my ice cream next time I’m in town.

Ahhh where do I start?
You should defiantly check out this place when your in Austin! The warm cookies and ice cream! You get to make your own ice cream sandwich whats better than that? I was able to get two different flavored ice creams in my sandwich — something Cashew and Chocolate fudge. My only regret is not asking for a cup to put my sandwich in because its a lot and melts really quick. I had to finish the cookie so quick.
Also, the have swings to sit on as the chair to your table — how awesome is that?

I am from Palo Alto and we have a place very similar called CREAM. They both have ice cream sandwiches. What I like about Moojo is that they have different size options. At CREAM, the sandwiches were so big and I could barely finish. Moojo offers a smaller size option and it is perfect for my small stomach! I got chocolate chip cookies and mint chocolate chip ice cream and it was delicious! I would go more often if I didn’t care about being healthier.

Nowadays, it is so easy to find speciality ice cream sandwiches. Moojo is probably no different from your typical ice cream sandwich shop. You pick your cookie, ice cream, and toppings for extra cost. First thing that came to mind was how expensive Moojo was. There are two sizes, sidekick and superhero. Because my boyfriend and I just had a huge dinner, we just decided to share a super hero. We ordered a rocky road cookie with cookies and cream ice cream sandwiched with a oatmeal raisin cookie. When he was grabbing the cookies and scooping the ice cream, I did not notice how small the cookies were. Along with the small cookies, the scoop of ice cream only covered only about a little more than half the cookie. We paid $ 4 for a tiny ice cream sandwich.
Then, it actually came time to eat the sandwich. The cookies were surprisingly cold. I swore he grabbed it from a little heat oven from behind him. My boyfriend and I finished the cookies in about 5 bites and left. The ice cream tasted your generic store bought ice cream, nothing that special.
The inside of the store is definitely cute. However, next time when I come to Austin, we would probably opt for another dessert place. It’s overpriced and probably not worth it, especially for the portion.

I’m not a huge ice cream fan. Take it or leave it. Not really ever worth the calories in my book. Sometimes ice cream is gritty. Sometime blah. Sometimes tasty, but not crave worthy.
MOOJO is everything you want in a tasty ice cream cookie sandwich. How do they do it? I don’t even know. I don’t ask questions. I let the soft, creamy chocolate melt over my tongue. The cookie crumbles quickly, giving way to it hidden chocolate chips…

Came here because Unilocal suggested it and Unilocal rarely fails.
The guy that took our order literally didn’t greet us nor helped us. He looked irritated and probably thinks he’s too cool for us. His presence deducted a star.
The ice cream sandwich were a bit much. I got the macadamia cookie with mint chocolate. The mint chocolate was amazing! The cookies tasted like it came out of a Kroger’s box so I wasn’t that impressed. BF got the coffee trip? (Or just coffee) and that was really great as well. I liked how the ice cream themselves weren’t overly sweet. I wish I just got them in a cup because that cookie was a bit much.
The décor was pleasant and the place was actually really clean. I was expecting sticky tables but they really kept up with it. I love the tables with the swings. They kept me entertained for awhile when I was waiting for other people to come.

Snickerdoodle cookies with salted caramel ice cream. It tasted actually pretty good. It’s good that y’all allow samples too.
I want to take some time to bash on 2 other aspects though.
1. The ice cream melts WAY too fast. Like unbelievably fast. I consider myself a rather fast eater but within 15 seconds, the ice cream started rapidly melting. PERHAPS it was because the cookie was warmed up? It felt slightly warm but I didn’t think it’d make enough of an impact to rapidly melt the ice cream. This would usually be fine because you would typically eat ice cream outside on a sunny day, when the ice cream would melt anyway… however…
2. The tissue packaging is incredibly absurd if the ice cream is going to melt out of the cookie sandwich. The pouch of the tissue collected the melted ice cream as I did my best to try to take a bite, only to have the cookie collapse on itself since the ice cream was too soft to get bitten out. I honestly don’t know how anyone eats this with the tissue.
Upon scrolling down I realized that people got it in a cup? That would’ve been extremely nice to know when I ordered it for the first time…

MOOOOOOJOOOOO where have you been all my life?
The concept is simple: ice cream sandwiched between 2 warm cookies. MANNNN this stuff is delicious. My husband works downtown (which is where Moojo is located) and brought it home (to the Domain) one night. The cookies were still warm and the ice cream was still in good condition. It was perfection. I had rocky road cookies with mint chip. YUM!

Cookies? Delicious.
Ice cream? Delicious.
Cookies + ice cream = too sweet!
I have a sweet tooth, but I also have my limits. The ice cream sandwiches are tad too sweet for me! I would prefer to consume these two separately! Aside from being too sweet (a minor complaint, really), I love how Moojo gives you so many delicious cookies and ice cream flavors to choose from — the possibilities are endless! In addition to their menu offerings, I love the casual yet charming atmosphere of this shop. In particular, I am obsessed with their swing sets!

Oh Moojo’s, you have impressed me. If you have a sweet tooth then this place should satisfy your craving. The interior is really cute and clean so that stood out the most to me.
I ordered the white chocolate macadamia nut cookie with cookies and cream ice cream. The cookie ice cream was really good! The ice cream was creamy and delicious! The white chocolate macadamia cookie wasn’t as soft and warm as I thought it would be (we arrived Moojos around 11:00 pm). The cookies softness would depend on when the cookie was baked.
My sister ordered the snickerdoodle cookie with ice cream and the cookie was freshly baked, so hers was really soft and delicious!
All in all, I would return to Moojo’s for more of their cookie ice cream! If you’re ever in the area then check this place out!

Ever since a sign for an ice cream spot opening up at this venue was posted, I have been waiting to try this adorable addition to the drag. A week into the school semester and I already feel like I waited too long to try this piece o heaven! If I wasn’t lactose intolerant or concerned about my health at all, I would actually eat here 3 times a day and see how many combinations of cookie-​ice cream mixes I could come up with. Actually downright addicting delicious so beware. And do yourself a favor and get the superhero size because it’s totally worth the calories.
My first moojo creation: chocolate chunk cookie, peanut butter cookie, and strawberry ice cream in between. The warm cookie to cold ice cream ratio is a hit but quite messy. I’ve decided that next time (which will be soon of course), I will order my ice cream sandwich in a cup and eat with a spoon.
I can’t wait to try all the other great combos! This place is super cute, trendy, clean, friendly, and conveniently in the middle of the drag. Great price for such a trendy dessert as well!

I love cookies and ice cream and when they are put together even better. I heard about this place from instagram account «best food in austin», so when I was in town I had to come and try it.
Let’s start with location, it’s literally located in the mecca of all places right on UT territory. So assuming most of their clients will be UT students, professors etc. I hate coming down this area because traffic is always a nightmare and I always have a hard time finding parking.
Once in the place the first thing I saw was the swings for chairs, which I thought was a nice, cute juvenile touch! Loved it. The place was very hip and stylish great for the clients they attract.
So the way it works is that you get to choose 2 cookies of your choice, and ice cream of your choice. I chose the butter sugar cookie and chocolate chip cookie and for ice cream I chose just regular plain vanilla.
The cookies are nice and warm and with the ice cream make a great ice cream cookie.
Warning you have to eat it quick because the cookie is warm the ice cream melts super fast, it tends to get messy if you take too long eating it.
They serve milk also which would be great if you chose to get just individual cookies.
I would definitely go Back !

Moojo = Moments of joy
If heavens exists this must be it! I am not sure you can get much better than cookies and ice cream. like really … come on … nothing better. I literally went here twice in a week … yup you heard me right … 2 times in one week! Good thing I don’t live near by campus because I would be here every day probably.
I realize now how they came up the name. There is so much joy happening in this little spot on the drag. Everything from the décor, the employees to the product … it is all joyful and providing happiness to it’s patrons.
So here is the scoop … ice cream and cookies. Individually we all love them, but when you put them together something magical happens.
Moojo has about 6 – 10 different cookies options. If you don’t want a cookie they have these waffle things too. They also have gluten free and vegan options for those people out there. I was in a chocolate mood so I got the rocky road cookie. Then for ice cream they have a bunch of flavors to choose from. I ended up choosing the cookies and cream on my first visit. When the ice cream sandwich artist handed me my creation I could tell the cookies were slightly warm. My first bite I am telling you was magical. if you are one of those people that thinks magic doesn’t exist then you have not been to Moojo clearly. The chocolate chunks in the rocky road cookie were so creamy good. The cookies and cream ice cream was paired perfectly.
If you are having trouble deciding what to choose they have some suggestions on the chalk board. My girl, Kimberly K that was with me on my first visit did one of their suggestions — Bacon me crazy, which is a bacon chocolate chip cookie with vanilla bean ice cream. My second visit I convinced Tiffany S that she needed some Moojo in her life too and she got the snickerdoodle cookie with salted caramel pretzel ice cream.
So basically if you are looking for a little magic or joy in your life then look no further because it exists on the drag at this place called Moojo.

It’s a cool store, the staff is great, and the $ 3.99 price point is solid. But at night the immediate area outside can be a little sketchy, and if you’re alone you will be approached for money. I don’t know if that’s an issue for you or not. Everyone sees it differently.
Once I made it inside, I did an unadorned Chipper Vanilla, and it was okay. But I’m also comparing to Tiff’s Chocolate Chip with Amy’s Mexican Vanilla, and maybe the key here is to let staff suggest unique cookie & ice cream combinations, because I saw some pretty amazing stuff after I ordered. I’ll know better the next time I come here. Probably in daylight.

Came on opening day and I was expecting the place to be a little mess and for the staff to be frazzled by the large amount of people coming through their business –NOT THE CASE AT ALL.
The interior: SO DANG ADORABLE. There is plenty of seating with a mixture of high bar stool type of seating, little tables with seat-​like things and the best of all… seats that are swings. Don’t get too excited — they do not swing a lot, but they are held by ropes coming from the ceiling, HOW CUTE! Clean bathrooms, also.
The product: Very simple concept. Choose a cookie flavor, choose an ice cream flavor and add toppings if you wish (extra). They also have milkshakes (where you can add in a cookie!) and waffle sandwiches instead of cookies. Raging place, man. I got the snickerdoodle moo, which was two snickerdoodle cookies with salted caramel pretzel ice cream in the middle. The cookies were delicious and the ice cream was too salty. Maybe I am not use to salted caramel things, but I do not believe I will go for that ice cream flavor again — maybe something a bit more mild. There’s something for everyone here. They even have Maine Root sodas, which I just love.
The staff: Friendly, smiley and a pleasure to be around. No one seemed stressed, no one seemed tired and they all seemed happy to be there. Pleasant service with a smile.
