Ellen Sauer is the absolute best. She was our first choice to help us sell our condo in South Austin and was always there for us through all the ups and downs of the selling process. Her integrity and cheerful manner are second to none. She always replied promptly to any queries or concerns we had and gave us help which was well beyond what is expected from a realtor. We have moved out of state, otherwise we would have liked Ellen to help with a purchase. I cannot recommend Ellen highly enough.

Tiffany Peters is an amazing real estate agent! She is thorough, diligent and hardworking. She found us an amazing home in Tarrytown that wasn’t even in MLS. The entire process took about 6 weeks which is insanely fast considering the market in Austin! We will forever be a client of Tiffany and Moreland!

This review is past due! Last year we had the pleasure of working with Clay McLaughlin when selling our home in Travis Heights and relocating to the Hill Country. Buying and selling properties at the same time sounded like a nightmare for me and my husband but Clay made it easy for us. Don Sembera went «above & beyond the call of duty» while representing the Seller on a home that we purchased in West Lake Hills. He had a excellent knowledge of the neighborhood, city regulations and the history and intricacies of this particular property. He helped the Seller understand the value of a buyer like us that wanted to preserve the home versus many others that wanted to raze it and build yet another McMansion. I’d wholeheartedly recommend Don for those seeking a home or looking to sell a home — especially in West Lake Hills!

This is by far the worst property management group that I have ever encountered. I have rented from Moreland Properties for a year now and am disgusted with their idea of customer service. My landlord, Cathy Parker, is very passive-​aggressive and possesses a terrible superiority complex. She will talk down to you without hesitation and is incredibly inconsiderate with how she runs the property, which is decrepit and trashy and infested with vermin. The exorbitant rent that she charges does not justify the lack of amenities in her frightfully old properties, and she does not seem to care. Do not do business with her or her company; they are not worth your time or money.

We worked with Don Sembera from Moreland for 6 months, looking at nearly 100 houses in Austin. Every time we were tempted to lower our standards and just buy a decent house, Don would encourage us to keep looking until we found the perfect place. Don is less of a realtor and more of a design historian/​structural engineer. He’s also a great guy to spend hours driving around with; those many hours eventually culminated in us finding the best house ever. We are big fans.

I had a wonderful experience with Claudia Scott as my agent. Claudia was prompt in responding to my requests to search for a rental property in the Gracy Farms/​MMetric area.
She showed me several properties within my budget for me to have comparisons to make the best decision for a great place! I loved that Claudia represented me in a very professional manner with the leasing agent, reviewing my lease and gave me helpful tips during the lease proces. Additionally, she listens when you tell her what your ideal place is and location. She is extremely nice and friendly making you feel ease immediately.

Joanie Capalupo at Moreland Properties came highly recommended by a trusted high school friend who is also a realtor. If you’re looking for a realtor, go with Jennie Barnes from Moreland Properties! We worked with 3 different realtors before we found Jennie and she is by far the best person to work with! The most honest and patient person we’ve ever worked with. Unlike other realtors where you felt pressured to buy a home immediately, I felt that Jennie was the complete opposite. She took the time to understand us and did not give up until she found the home that was best for us. I highly recommend her!
