Move It Self Storage – South Austin

Easy place to use because it’s close in but on a side street away from traffic. The building is kept clean and there’s plenty of lighting, although lights in each unit would be helpful. You can feel safe even when going after dark. Staff is friendly and helpful. Good security.

This place is GREAT. I have leased an inside storage facility from them for 7 years! I just renewed and will probably use it for at least another 7! Tiffany, the manager, is very helpful, courteous, polite and responsive. They have up-​graded the facility and many of the units are climate controlled. I have never suffered a burglary nor has my property ever been disturbed. Move it is located close to S. Congress Ave and Stassney, so it’s easy to find an easy to get in and out of. I highly recommend you consider Move It for your next place to store your belongings.

We had to return our UHaul here after our trip from California. We had driven three days straight and were exhausted! the location was a little tricky to get to but well worth it! The lady there was very kind and organized (my husband felt with her so I don’t remember her name :/​).
I of course,
being the zombie that I was after this trip, forgot our sweaters and my boots in the passenger side corner of the seat that is not easily visible unless you stick your hand back there.
We realized this two days after we dropped it off. The same lady was there and she said it was already gone. When we hung up, she must have figured out who rented it, called them, asked them to check, and called us back with good news! We got the address to the place that was still packing up their stuff and got ours :)
She was so kind and went out of her way to help us out! I would TOTALLY use them for storage and Uhaul purposes knowing how hard working, nice, and organized the company is.
