Thank you Olive for making my life SO MUCH EASIER. Laura, the owner, really spent her time helping me. You know sometimes you walk into a «boutique» and it feels like they are all up on your junk and you get scared to touch anything??? That’s NOT the case at Olive. I felt really welcomed there and shopped in total peace.
I visited the store about three times in the span of two months and there’s been a ton of new things EVERY time. It’s always fun to see what new things Laura has brought in. OH! Don’t forget the amazing sale section!

so many great things to say about this boutique that I do not even know where to begin, Laura (the owner) is consistently lovely and honest on all advices needed for those needing fashion tips to freshen up their look. If something works she will tell you, if something doesn’t look good she will be honest… you never feel pushed into buying anything. The store carries a lot of brands that would otherwise be very difficult to find in austin and you can tell that the owner is very passionate about what she chooses to sell. Each product seems to have a story to tell and she will always take the time to tell you about where it is from and about the designer itself. As someone who identifies as TD going places to try clothes on has always been uncomfortable but the owner and other shop keepers truly make you feel comfortable. If the sizing is not right they are always quick to make sure to order one for you if its a piece you’ve fallen in love with (trust me they have so much good stuff that you will fall in love and want everything). They also have a really good apothecary section with candles, mists, perfumes etc to make your home feel complete. Very good communication via instagram on sales as well as via e-​mail. this boutique host regular pop up shops to support local artists and designers which really makes olive feel like an austin staple (after tacos and kombucha). Hope she continues expanding the business and adds more lines maybe even menswear so the dudes in this town can look just as fresh as the ladies!!! in any case, check out this shop everything about it is as the kids say these days «on fleek».

First of all. What a lovely place! As I walked in I immediately loved the display of all of the their products. Not many choices for a gent, but still worth the visit. I would have given this place a 4.5, but Laura, the owner I believe, was a gem. She also mentioned a larger variety of jewelry, clothing is coming soon. Being new to Austin, I can say I’ve found a great local owned shop to visit soon & again.& again.
