Angelo’s approach to piano lessons is so much more effective and enjoyable than what I remember as a kid. He teaches the fundamentals but also allows for creativity based on the temperament of his students. My son is notorious for disengaging and goofing off if given the opportunity; Angelo took this all in stride and was continually patient and encouraging throughout the lessons. He welcomes students and parents into his home and shows the kids how music can be enjoyable when integrated into daily life — he doesn’t present it as a boring «lesson» that must be memorized and endured. I would recommend Angelo as a piano teacher to ANYONE who’s interested in learning how to play!

Angelo is a terrific piano teacher for kids — he is engaging, enthusiastic and, though serious about piano, happy to be silly with my child too. Sometimes that is the best way to get their attention and he understands that well. He uses the My First Piano Adventure for the Young Beginner books (a wonderful series) and adds his own fun exercises as well. Oh, and did I mention he has stickers? If you are looking for lessons in a relaxed environment, Angelo is your guy.
