1st visit. Waiter was a little off his game but not bad. Just a lack of attention to detail. The bone in wings were good, the medium buffalo sauce was good. The wings did taste as though they had been pre-cooked. We sent the waffle fries back because they were cold and stale. Came back hot and fresh. Waiter left the old ones. We’ve had better, but definitely have had worse. Grade B+

Everything amazing, this is the only place I know that has«cheech and Chong burger/s» I went with friends and we had to leave cause one of them was allergic to bees and there was a few inside but overall this place is a sporty hangout to just pig out and enjoy the game

I am editing my original review. The wings were over cooked but everyone has a bad night occasionally and I am willing to give it another shot. The service was excellent and management has shown that they care about the customer’s experience. Hopefully the next review they will have fixed the cooking time issue.

Ordered food to go. Confirmed on the phone my order and also she repeated it back to me. The one taking my order had an attitude and also I felt rushed the entire time she was taking my order. Once I arrived She opened one box where the fries spilt everywhere which is not a huge deal but she could of offered us a fresh batch. Frustrated by the service I had already received I just wanted to get home so the other two boxes were not opened. Well once home I opened the two boxes and lo and behold the order was wrong. I was missing a side salad I had ordered and we received two ranches when we asked for 5.

We had the best lunch ever! Gabriel is the BEST waiter in ATX! He loves his job and it shows! We weren’t going to get a membership but he convinced us it was beneficial and let me say … It is!!! Love this location, love the food and love the atmosphere! Defiantly visit this location and if at all possible ask for Gabriel! He ROCKS!

Oooooook. Where do I start? If I want fried food and/or alcohol just because, then I’ll come here. And secondly, my friends generally like it here so we come to this location a lot. So here it goes: Food — usually pretty good. Always in love with fried pickles and ranch, always in love with mild sauce boneless wings(I know, I’m weak.) But, waiting for said food and drinks, as much as I love the sweet tea, is a major pain in my butt. To go– usually always right, no complaints here and I live pretty far so it’s sort of my fault when the food is cold when I get home. But, they close at 2 and I called at midnight multiple times and got no answer so that’s pretty frustrating. Service: SUCKS. EVERYSINGLETIME. But last time took the cake. I was waiting on a friend, so j ordered her a tea and myself a tea and told my server I’d wait to order until she got there. She arrives, says hello to my server, only to be ignored ??? And then the server walks away without a word after dropping the tea off. Then the rest of the night we only saw her to take our order and hand us the check. And I guess to try to save herself she tried tickling my one year old– no, how about you do not touch my kid! So basically, I’ll just stay away from this location and stay at Round Rock

I used to really like Pluckers back when they were one of the only local wing games in town. So when we had a get together after work and I found out it was at Pluckers I was excited. We had a bit of a snafu when less then half of our party showed up initially and the manager wouldn’t allow us to be seated until at least half of our party arrived. I understand the thinking, but they were half empty at the time, so common sense should have prevailed. Once the requisite number of our party arrived we were seated. Then we were instructed by the waitress that once we order we couldn’t change where we were sitting because the orders would get screwed up. It wasn’t so much what she told us, which was weird enough, but the way she said it like she was speaking to a kindergarten class. Not so good customer service to say the least. The wings were good, but they don’t compare to a couple of other local wing joints in town. I will keep my fond memories of the old Pluckers, because I don’t plan on making any new ones.

By far my most favorite place to get wings in Austin… no wait, the WORLD!!! I truly am never disappointed. Perfect level of crispy skin and moist juicy chicken mixed with several varieties of sauces(wet & dry) to please any palate. My favorites are the spicy ranch and the buffalo hot. I tried the fire in the hole and although I do enjoy extra extra spicy foods, I wasn’t a fan of this type. They taste like wings covered in buffalo hot and then mixed with lots of chopped peppers which felt more like salsa. Just not my thing, but some obviously enjoy them because many people have eaten and succeeded in the fire in the hole challenge. Boneless buffalo wings are also a great choice. But be warned, they are huge! Definitely will have leftovers. You must get a pluckers card. Every time you visit you earn points and there are always specials when you’re a member. And don’t forget the fried mushrooms, tater tots & fried Oreos! Oh and of course with the abundance of televisions, it’s a fabulous place to watch all sports!

Man, I really want to see these guys get their crap together. I have such inconsistent experiences that it’s hard to review this location. My biggest complaint is that EVERYSINGLETIME I ORDERFRIESORSWEETPOTATOFRIES, they give me cold/old/gummy fries. WTF??? Why can’t I get fresh fries with my wings? Also, when I order split flavored wings, why would one half be cool to the touch & the other half be hot??? Just don’t get it I guess…

You know when I first moved to town I loved this place. It was almost like the wing place we left back in SD. But over time I have started to like it less and less, and started to go to other wing establishments. But for this review, lets talk about the good. 1. Great selection of flavors, really if you cant find a sauce you like here, you must have busted taste buds. My favorites are garlic and sweet bbq. 2. Good happy hour with lots of drink choices. 3. Friendly staff with quick service. 4. Deep fried mac and cheese! But things that are not so good at this location. 1. Almost always a wait to get seated. 2. Even on days without a big game its loud. 3. The consistency of sauce coverage is variable. 4. Fried pickles are spears of molten death instead of chips of fried love. I will of course always stop by for some wings or a salad to go. But rarely will I stay and eat here anymore. I’m getting old, its a loud sports bar.

I’ve always loved pluckers! Their flavors are so damn bomb! I love lemon pepper, spicy bbq and cajun in particular. Also the wale fries can do no wrong. What shined tonight was the patron margarita! Sweet, salty, and STRONG!

I would definitely return here! This place has a gluten free menu. The waiter was friendly and provided quality service. I had the medium buffalo and spicy ranch wings. They were delicious and cooked well. I had six wings and was full. I ordered waffle fries for my side. The food arrived quickly. The place had a fun casual atmosphere with sports TV galore. If your looking for a wing place forget Buffalo Wild Wings and come to Pluckers.

I love Pluckers. You can toss anything in wing sauce(try the fried pickles in medium), their food is overall delicious(8000% better than Hooters or Wing Stop), they have giant beers, big TVs for any and all sports, and they do fun stuff like Wingo and Trivia Night. I also love sitting at the bar. Better service, always. Except last Thursday Wingo night. The service was so bad it was almost Twilight Zone-ish. I asked for a menu three times. I got a head nod, «sure in a minute,» then an immediate dismissal each time. I finally went and grabbed one from a neighboring table. I then asked to place and order two separate times before I was able to actually do so. Can you guess what happened when I wanted to order another beer? What about when I needed a takeout box? Yep, you guessed it, I finally just went and got a box from the servers’ station. I hope is a fluke because I love that place. Either way, I urge you to try the new mango habanero sauce. Mix it with medium or hot if you want a little more spice.

Pluckers is one of my favorite wing places in Austin. Ever since I moved to Boston, I was looking for a restaurant to replace pluckers but I couldn’t find a decent place. I love garlic parmesan wings and sweet potato fries. Also holy macaroni is must to get. When I was visiting Austin, I went back to Pluckers. But for some reason, the garlic parmesan wings weren’t crispy. As it is a dry-rubbed style dish, I was expecting crispy texture with garlic-parmesan flavor. Maybe it was one of the bad days or maybe I was unlucky to get the soggy wings. Oh well, I still love this place. Hopefully next time, it will be better.

A group of friends and I went to Pluckers last night for their Wednesday night trivia. I’m a big fan of casual sports bar type places like Pluckers, and I love the fun vibe Pluckers has on trivia nights! The food was good, well as good as you would expect at a wing place. Our waiter was great and super attentive despite the place being extremely crowded for trivia(we had a 40 minute wait). The MAJOR complaint I have is how freaking annoying the trivia host was. I usually go to Pluckers in RR, but we went to the 183 location last night to accommodate a girl in our group. Assuming that was the regular host, I’ll never attend the 183 location again for trivia. He was super annoying. Talked way too much, tried being too funny rather than focus on the game. He took forever to actually give answers, making it really late before the game actually ended. Tables next to me started yelling at him to read the answers at one point. So clearly we weren’t the only ones bothered by this guy. I hope whoever is in charge of trivia at Pluckers is aware of this and gets someone new to host trivia night!

I am in town for business and enjoyed lunch today at Pluckers! The ambiance is the perfect setting for watching your favorite sports team on a big screen. The chicken and sauce options are endless! There are fried and grilled options and a variety of Yummy sauces!!! Highly recommend the appetizer sampler that includes fried cheese sticks, their super popular fried pickles, and chicken wings! My coworkers and I enjoyed our main courses including the grilled strips Cajun style, traditional chicken tenders, and the larger than life chicken sandwiches!!! I look forward to visiting and dining at the Houston location!

This place first and foremost has ONEBAJILLION telvisions. Unfortunately, they seem to have a little trouble keeping up with all the requests. However, the guy who hosts trivia here every Wednesday is pretty entertaining, and the service is actually pretty good compared to other pluckers. Pluckers has recently expanded their menu with a few new wing flavors and *gasp* A VEGGIE sandwich! Not much for vegetarians otherwise, except maybe some fries/tots and fried mushrooms. Additionally, there is always a huge wait even though there are plenty of table tops open. Confusing to say the least.

Pluckers is a mainstay in Austin, and its reputation as a large sports bar and wing joint is well deserved. For many years, they have served a variety of wing flavors, both wet and dry rubs. Pluckers is always crowded, so be be prepared to spend some time waiting for a table. The serving staff at this specific location has some interesting personality preferences. For instance, when the pager I was given while waiting for a table was dropped onto the host table, another of the hosts mentioned something about me not having fast reflexes even though I was Asian. Color me confused, but that’s not really a way to create a good rapport with a customer, no matter what kind of environment you’re in. Besides that, the food was still good, even if our server forgot to place our order for Holy Macaroni… I’d much prefer going to the downtown location, but I go here because the wait is less.

I love Pluckers! It is a go to when I am wanting something fat and fried and just all around bad for me. I’ve been a fan since I moved to Austin. I first got hooked when I worked at UT and they had a UT staff discount day once a month. Hello team bonding over fried goodness. During this stint we were convinced to join the Pluckers club too. The free birthday meal(up to $ 15) was worth it alone. Who doesn’t love a free meal! I tend to get the same things at Pluckers. I’ve had the BBQ chicken salad(or something like that) which is huge and so not healthy but at least I am getting some greens in. My go to meal is the boneless wings basket. I love the Honey BBQ sauce and haven’t convinced myself to try anything new. A tip: always get the waffle fries. My biggest complaint is that the food never tends to come out piping hot. I would think that if the waffle fries just came up from the fryer I’d burn my tongue eating them when they came out but that doesn’t seem to be the case. The service tends to be decent throughout my Pluckers experiences. I will keep going back because sometimes a girl just wants a bunch of fried food and a cold one to wash it down.

Our lil guy was crying in rush hour traffic on the 35 so we stopped for an emergency dinner to wait for the crazy to pass. Our server, Christine(a?) asked if this was our first time, we said yes, and she was excellent, she brought us a little plate, some celery and a selection of about 6 – 8 dipping sauces to try the sauces before ordering. She also got us a half order of fried pickles on the house(which hubby said were excellent, I don’t eat pickles) I ordered the buffalo chicken salad, holy crap it was epic! Packed full of delicious saucy chicken, lettuce, egg, bacon, cheese, cabbage, tomato and carrot. Hubby ordered the honey BBQ boneless basket with Mac and cheese. Ive never seen him wiped out before, but the portion was huge, the food qpiping hot and delicious. If we had been searching for somewhere to eat near our hotel and this place popped up, we’d have seen the average rating and kept driving, circumstances made us stop, and I’m so glad cause this place was truly top notch and the service from entrance to exit was excellent and quick!
