Place is huge and audio quality for music concert is good. Nice venue for medium range indoor concerts or meetups.

Over a year ago I attended a Merle Haggard show here. This year attended the Texas A&M Singing Cadets show. Place is huge. Sound quality is good. It is a church so I know many at the Merle show were shocked there was no alcohol. The One World Theater sometimes uses this space for shows they sell that will need more seats than they can provide. A bit of a walk from the parking lot to this area if you have someone that is slow or elderly. Steps down can be a bit steep for some people as well. The parking lot can be a mess when the show is out. Thankful the night of the Singing Cadets they hired sheriff to manage the lights on 360. Glad Austin has a space like this but wish it wasn’t part of a church.

Wow, those are some uncomfortable seats! I’m only 5’8 and was really cramped, and the cushion was none too luxurious, either. I shifted around so much that it was tough to pay attention. I regret buying the best tickets available. Also, no bar. I needed a glass of wine after an hour in the rack.

Just saw the Chieftains here, and I don’t think there is a bad seat in the house. It’s small enough to be intimate, yet large enough to hold a crowd. The layout is wonderful, no obstructed views. The seats are fairly comfortable. Parking was great. Only possible bad thing is getting out of the parking lot… depending on traffic, it could be a real pain.

Olivia’s review is unfair and uninformed. The Saturday when she was inconvenienced by traffic leaving Riverbend was after a funeral for a senator, attended by a couple thousand people. On normal days, even Sundays, Riverbend does not«shut down an entire lane» of 360. One World Theatre has begun hosting some of their larger shows at Riverbend Centre. It’s a great place for a concert; the amphitheater shape and steeply raked auditorium mean there are great views from just about anywhere. Stage is huge and architecture is really unique.

We got lost and took the wrong road on our way to a birthday party. On our way back from somewhere that we weren’t supposed to be Riverbend had shut down an entire lane on the 360 in the middle of a Saturday afternoon blocking traffic and stopped traffic in the other lane. We sat in front of the facility/church/monstrosity whatever it is and watched at least 100 cars come out, for over 30 minutes while a police officer directed traffic. We were just *one car* behind the front of the stopped lane and sat there for THIRTYFREAKINGMINUTES in the heat waiting, and waiting, and waiting, and waiting, and waiting. Not nice, not nice at all.

It’s a church, I think… I came here for the performance of Austin Symphony’s Hendel’s Messiah and was surprised to see how big the hall is, and perhaps it is too big for a music concert. Limited restrooms to use and confusing entrance…
