Maybe we came on the wrong night(apprx 3 weeks ago) but i was not impressed. The normal menu was«being revamped» and there were only 6 or 7 items to choose from. We tried the tacos and bacon/cheese/sriracha fries. It took 27 min for the food to even be ready as only one person was working. We def will go back to give it a fair shot but first impression was nothing to write home about. Drinks and service inside the adjoining bar(red shed) were well priced and good.

Picasso, Rodan, Einstein… none of these men can make street Tacos like John Torres can. He now has a truck at the Red Shed Tavern on S. Congress and Ralph Albanedo Dr.

Came here looking for a food truck that didn’t exist apparently, so we decided to try Rockadive… and that was a great decision! We’ll be coming back to try more of the menu.

Had a Groupon for this place but Rockadive liked playing hard to get. First try they were closed due to renovation. Second try they extended the renovation and were still closed. Third time’s the charm and although a tad frustrated, we were eager to try their popular Loko Moko. This time they were open. Yessssss! TJ, the owner, was really nice. Even though our groupon had expired, he understood the inconvenience from their renovation and was willing to honor the original Groupon deal. The night was starting off with outstanding service. There’s something about the Loko Moko that was just so so satisfying. The angus beef was well seasoned and the over-easy egg was cooked perfectly. Everything combined well by the gravy and overall the taste was delicious. I’m usually all about the natural flavors of food, but I definitely wouldn’t complain if there was more of that gravy. The pickled onion provided a refreshing kick. The Loko Moko is truly comfort food. It’s obviously not the fanciest or most aesthetic dish I’ve ever had, but its taste, texture, and the overall environment of the closely-knit trailer park just makes you feel good.

My review is for October 2014 experience. When I’m hungry and haven’t eaten in a while… I’ll eat just about anything. But the experience here was very disappointing. Wife ordered the veg pizza from phat burger and I got the falafel plate from humus cuisine. Both seemed like amateur cooking experiences from someone that just learned how to cook. The falafels had a strange after taste(baking soda-like) and I was disappointed to pay $ 11.50 + $ 1(tip). I wasn’t able to continue eating due to this and left still hungry. The plate was also very tiny. They stated pita but it was very thin slices of pita. Even if I was able to stomach eating the plate, it was such little food I would’ve still been hungry. My wife’s pizza was not even comparable to a tombstone pizza which is quite sad… and that was $ 8 + $ 1 tip. Moreover the pizza looked like a kids portion. I’m such an idiot to tip at the time of ordering. Should’ve waited to taste the food. Lesson learned. Honestly I wouldn’t even eat that food again if it was free. Overall the food was terrible and way too expensive. Will not be going back again. They did ask how the food was and I replied to the humus lady — «to be honest, it was just ok» because I was afraid to hurt her feelings. Hope they reads this because that place won’t last long with such food. Also, instead of trying to remove my review, why don’t you try improving the food!

Drove 20 miles to try it out… All they were serving was a Mexican style burrito. I really want to try it again because I’m from Hawaii and am hoping I can get a bit of a filipino/plate lunch fix here. But I don’t want to drive all the way out there to be disappointed again. :(

Stop what you’re doing right now. Get your keys and drive to the South Folk Food Truck Park on Manchaca. Proceed to the black truck on the right in the back. I knew I’d hit on something good when I saw it had dishes with fried eggs on top(yeah!). I ordered the Moko Loko, which is bolillo bread topped with Polynesian pulled pork, pepper gravy(what!) and fried eggs. Woah. Woah. The gravy is perfect, not too salty on one hand, or bland on the other. The bread is unbelievable – grilled and buttered. The pork has some kind of divine sweet(but not too sweet) marinade, and it’s just crispy enough on the edges. Oh, and the staff is super nice. So go now! What are you waiting for?

Went there at 7:20 tonight. Closed, said they were out of food. Trailer park food court was not that busy. I really like their food, but not making any special trips to eat there anymore.

Chef D in the house!!! Tried it for the 1st time and we liked it! We went yesterday, Sunday afternoon, they were Rockin’ Hibachi! We almost ordered everything on the menu LOL! First of is the fried rice. It is the bomb!!! Very tasty, mouthwatering and delicious! My order, the Swai Fillet. It was really good, healthy and refreshing! Hubby gets the chicken breast. Oh yes! It was tasty like a teriyaki chicken/BBQ chicken breast! Bro in law ordered the steak and he said it was also good. Sister, mom and dad also ordered the chicken and swai fillet! All of them came with fried rice and cucumber salad for $ 7. So they serve Hibachi menu on Sundays and certain days of the week and then they serve the regular menu on like Thurs and Fridays, I think. Either way, we will definitely go back and try the other items on the menu!

My friend is half-Filipino and grew up in Hawaii, so when we found a Groupon for a Asian/Polynesian/Filipino/Hawaiian fusion food truck, we jumped all over it. Good decision! We had four items between us. I had the Terrorista Tacos, which came with 2. They were chock-full of eggs, cracklings, grilled cactus & onions, mozza-jack cheese, cilantro & chipotle mayo… oh my LORD!!! All this on a homemade-looking tortilla. My second order was for lumpia, which is a Filipino egg-roll-type-thingie. My friend had the Filipino banh mi, which had pork belly, cucumbers, carrots, cilantro, tora sauce & chipotle mayo on Texas toast, with her second order being the porky loko, which had crispy pork belly under fried eggs, gravy & grilled onions, all over steamed rice. We almost had to be rolled to the car!!! My fave was the Terrorista Tacos… absolutely delicious!!! The porky loco(similar to moko loco, which has a burger patty instead of pork belly) was fantastic as well. The lumpia were crispy with a sweet/tangy sauce for dipping. My least favorite(only because something had to come in last place) was the banh mi… chopped pieces of pork belly with all the veggies on freshly grilled Texas toast… mmmmm!!! The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that it did take a little long to get our order, and they didn’t give us utensils for the«salad» that came with the lumpia or for the loko. Friendly service, VERY fresh food… I will definitely be back for seconds… or thirds… etc…etc…etc…

Rockadive Pizza King makes pizza just how I like it. The crust is thin, crispy, and very light. All of the ingredients are fresh and of a higher quality than other pizza options in the area. The owner is very friendly and always willing to customize your order to how ever you like it. Plus, you’re supporting local business by eating here. Glad to have these guys in the neighborhood!

Their food is a cool mixture of different flavors that you wouldn’t think would taste good together, but low and behold, it’s amazing! We has the RADickles that come with an amazing dipping sauce. I would definitely recommend them. My husband has the trippie. I wasn’t a big fan, but my husband chowed like he hadn’t eaten in a month. He absolutely loved it. I got the hot chix which was wonderful. Didn’t sound like a good combination of flavors, but I was pleasantly surprised. Also, you get a free beer with every $ 7 you spend. This place was great!

Goddamn! This place has it going on and then some! If you are health conscious, please make sure you work out before even trying to look at their menu. Their food are all fat free — meaning they dont charge you for the fat :) I had the Godzirra — i think its got longanisa deep fried in batter, eggs, bacon, cheese… all on a Bolillo bun. GOOD! I made a promise to myself to try every single think on their menu. Try this joint out… PLEASE!

I hate to ruin these guys’ 5-star streak, but our meal last night was lacking a little. The bad: Fried pickles are made with pickle halves instead of spears. I always thought I liked more pickle in my fried pickles, but fried spears really make for the perfect pickle-to-fried ratio. Pulled pork in the street tacos was DIVINE, but the raw onion, canned pineapple and hot shoestring potatoes on top severely detracted. The Hot Chix chicken sandwich was a mixed bag. The tenders themselves were panko fried and delicious and the cilantro-cotija-honey sauce was to die, but the huge hawaiian bun with nothing else on it just made no sense. The good: FREEBEER. Every $ 6 gets you a free BL. This should count as three good things. The people. AJ and his son will talk you through the whole menu and give you a sample of anything that catches your eye. That pulled pork. Next time we’ll try the TriPPPey sandwich which has pulled pork, kimchi and grilled pineapple. Yum.

There aren’t enough reviews on Unilocal to reflect how good this place is. Very few places compel me to review them. We had ordered from some other trailers first so we could only order a couple of items. Here’s our experience so far: Korn-Holy-OH — a corn cob battered in japanese bread crumbs, chipotle mayo, parmesan cheese, lime and chile. It is then fried to a delicious perfection. All those ingredients are fried in with the batter. I have eaten a lot of street corn. This was on another level. Fried O’Mallows — Jeebus! Goodness me. They were everything you would want in deep fried oreos caressing marshmallows. The batter was fluffy, crunchy and ever so delicious. The oreos turned into… well a soft and gooey oreo orgasm. They are accompanied by a surprising and delicately crafted caramel sauce. They give you 3 skewers each with two oreos and a marshmallow. Being white, I hope I can say politically, that I am pretty sure that was the best white trash desert I have ever had. Definitely in my top 5 deserts of all time including gourmet. We are so lucky to be right around the corner. We will be back on Sunday to try more. Try this place.

This place is DIVINE! Not your average food truck by any means. My family and I ordered the chicken basket, the Lava Cubana and the Cornholio. Everything was super yummy. As the other reviewer mentioned, I liked that everything is made to order and the wait is well worth it. As soon as we left and got home, we started planning our next visit!
