Capt Sam and this sailing experience is the best! Sam cares so much about ensuring a pleasant experience is had by all and his Catalina is such a nice boat. Expect a very memorable, therapeutic, stress-​relieving time!

If this is not on your bucket list of things to do, it should be — and here’s why:
The Captain, Sam — he is good for the soul; so damn nice, fun, and laid back. When is the last time someone held your hand while stepping onto a yacht so that you didn’t bust your ass? When was the last time someone offered you a drink on a yacht and brought it to you? Yes, of course he showed Christopher Columbus how to sail, but what about grown-​folk snacks delivered by Sam? What about his genuine interest in things of substance that make anyone smile?
The yacht — Sam’s yacht is pristine and beautiful; he obviously takes immense pride in his gorgeous home away from home. It will feel like your home too — you will be shown around and encouraged to relax and set your own mood, to include lighting and music. So many different nooks, and they are surprisingly comfortable no matter where you are!
The cost — if you look around you will see Sam is one of the more reasonable charters with flexible options for any occasion or any number of people (up to 6).
Convenience — Marshall Ford Marina is very easy to access. The area is maintained well. Just be sure to bring stable shoes to walk through all of the barren area that used to be under water to get to the yacht.
The experience — please insert your own story here, because you WILL have one.
Bottom line — you could arrive on Sam’s yacht straight from stress hell and there is no way you would step foot off of his yacht without feeling renewed and refreshed … unless of course you are part of a group of screaming sailing strippers.

What an incredible time! Sam is one of the most fun and friendly people you will ever meet. As an Irishman who moved to Texas 25 years ago he’s got the best accent and stories. We had a fantastic and relaxing time going around the lake on Sam’s boat and would highly recommend it to anyone that’s in the area and looking for a little excursion on the water.

Love this charter! Everyone was very nice and the sailboat is beautiful. Can’t wait to go again.
