Same Day Appliance Repair

Have also been scammed by these guys on our fridge today when my son called and unfortunately previously on a fake oven repair when my daughter called them. They don’t carry any parts because they want you to pay in advance for the parts and they don’t ever come back or answer their calls. The scan code on their card links to a casino.
Lorenzo Banks is his current name and he has a young man who also pretends to do some work. If I cancel the check, I worry that they now know where we live…

This repair business is a SCAM! We called them on 07÷03÷15 to fix our refrigerator that was not properly cooling. The guy on the phone at 512−549−2591 said it would be a $ 55 service call that had to be paid by credit card right then, but if we had them do the repair, the $ 55 would go to the cost of repair. I had to run an errand when the technician called to advise he was on his way, so my wife showed him where it was when he arrived. When I returned the technician named «Dustin» was just wrapping up and told us to keep our refrigerator unplugged for several ours so that the freezer would defrost and when we plugged it back in everything would work. Well, this was not the case! I looked and nothing was replaced, no new parts, nothing! I called Dustin at 210−287−0449 to advise him of this and to let him know I still had not received my invoice. He said he would send right away. After several days I still had not received, so I called him again to tell him the refrigerator had same issue as before he came. He claimed he put on a main compressor control tube (there is no such part). When I finally got the invoice it had the wrong date, wrong amount and a fictitious part. I paid him $ 225 by check when he was here and they also ran the $ 55 I had given by cc. I am now out $ 280 and the refrigerator is not fixed. Several times Dustin was a no show on bringing my money back. This company operates under several business names, one being Pflugerville Appliance Repair, so do NOT do business with 512−549−2591 nor 210−287−0449 and be very careful if your technician is named Dustin.

I called them this morning after seeing them pop up on google search. They scheduled an appointment between 3−5pm. The guy calls me around 1pm to ask if I was home and I said yes, then we got disconnected. I tried to call him back and he didn’t answer. I was trying to confirm the time he was coming. I have been calling for 3 hours and he will not answer the phone. I called him from a different phone number and he answered right away. When I said who I was he hung up on me and now will still not answer his phone. I decided to research the reviews and I’m glad I did! I sent him a text to NOT come to my house. I will find someone else! I do not trust him either! If you aren’t coming just say so and I will find someone else, but to book an appointment and then not answer your phone all day is unprofessional. Something’s not right about this company!

MAN I wish I would have checked here before I called these guys. WHAT A LET DOWN. I have a washer that won’t drain. EASY fix… I’ve seen the YouTube videos and I could do it myself. Thing is: I DON’T WANT TO and have enough $$$ to spend to pay someone else to. You know… feeding into the local economy, and whatnot? So I see these guys on Google. Same day service and no additional charge for weekends. Sweet! I call em up at 3:00.
Dude answers, «Yeah?» I’m not joking. THAT is how he answers the business phone number that I just dialed. This should have been a red flag, but I explain my situation anyway. «We can be there at 4:00 today.»
«PERFECT! My wife is out of town until tonight and I want to surprise her when she gets back… BAD@$$! Let’s do it.»
So I throw a load of laundry in that is going to take 45 minutes. I know it will be done before they get here because my washer tells me how long it will take (it’s fancy that way). Now I can have my laundry clean AND they will be able to see the issue I am experiencing… usually something repairmen would LOVE because they don’t have to rely on the uneducated consumer’s inane descriptions, like «It’s makin’ a banging sound and squeaks like this: EEEEEK EEEEEK EEEEE…» you get the idea…
At 3:30 the doorbell rings. I open the door to two dudes, one with a toolbox, and invite them in. My dogs alert (that means bark) and come to check them out. They’re 13 year old golden retrievers, so no threat, but these guys faces look like I have Mr Burns’ dobermans coming at them. My brother gets the dogs outside and I tell them, «guys, I have a load of laundry in the wash right now and it is not in the spin cycle yet so I can’t get them out (because my drain isn’t functioning properly). Can you please come back at our scheduled time of 4:00? It will be done by then.»
The guys agree and walk out and then, over his shoulder, one of them snarkily says, «so 4:00, then?» and rolls his eyes as he looks at his phone, «that’s only 30 minutes away» as he walks off to the truck. YES 4:00! That’s the time that we SCHEDULED. Thanks for being early and all… I appreciate it, but maybe you should have called to be sure that’s okay? What if I was makin’ sweet love to my Gorgeous? What then? (That’s what I call her… my Gorgeous. She loves it… you can use it fellers… I’ll allow it.)
So, not only did they not come back at 4:00, but it is now 6:00 and they are ducking my phone calls like an ex-​girlfriend with my laptop at her house because I left it there, Just ridiculous. Petty, unprofessional, and ridiculous.
Here’s a FREE business tip for you, «Same Day» Appliance Repair: scheduling appointments is an important part of running a business. Not only because YOU know who you are servicing and when to be there, but also because your potential clients are going to SCHEDULE their lives around your APPOINTMENT. See how that works? So now I’ve had my dogs outside for hours for NO reason and I’m starving since I wanted to wait for your return before I went to grab something to eat AND I HAVE TO SCHEDULE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT WITH YOUR COMPETITION FOR TOMORROW MORNING when they probably could have fixed my machine by now. I was willing to pay extra for the weekend visit, after all.
Thanks for wasting my time. Good luck… you’re going to need it with these business practices and all the other reviews I’m seeing on Unilocal.SERIOUSLY? You can’t get anyone to give you even a 2 star rating? So sad…

If there was a way to give them a 0 I would have. I hired them to help a widow out with her refrigerator and they were not just rude… they were frightingly rude. They snapped at her and when I tried to talk they yelled at me. I don’t feel like it’s safe to hire these men.

Was told they would have somebody out to my place for a repair between 4pm and 5pm. Nobody ever showed up and I never received a phone call. When I called to ask what happened I got hung up on. Terrible service.

Do Not Use!!! They did not do what they charged me for, charged for replacing heating element and just found out the original heating element is still there and it works, did not repair the problems and actually broke parts of my dryer that were not broken. I stopped payment on the check and told them once it was repaired correctly and working I would pay them. I tried calling several times, left messages after this incident. Finally reached someone and explained what had happened and they hung up on me. Not sure they are a legitimate company. Would never recommend them.
