Silvercar

I rented a Silvercar in Denver, and the experience was flawless. Just hopped on a Canopy shuttle from the airport (one of the nicest shuttle buses I’ve been on at an airport) and arrived in the covered and heated garage (plus free snacks and coffee). We popped open the app, and the car unlocked and the trunk popped (pretty cool tech). They had already put a ski rack on it for us. We saw a list of known dings (a couple tiny ones) on the app, checked em off and off we went. The navigation system and all-​wheel drive of the Audi was great for the snowy mountain drive. That car has some power and great control. It just kicked the ass of any other rental experience I’ve had.

So, I highly recommend Silvercar to anyone looking for a rental car either because you want to ride in style or under the age of 25. I flew into ATX and needed a car for a week (5 days) and it was hassle free, and the cheapest option. Being under 25, Silvercar didn’t charge a «underage fee» as any other rental company would. Download the app because it gives you super simple instructions to getting chauffeured by Silvercar, as their car lot is off the airport property. Once picked up, you’re greeted with the upmost professionalism and taken to the lot of Audi A4’s. You get to pick your car and fidget around in the app for a minute or 2 and off you go. The car was a very smooth ride throughout the week. Once I was ready to return it, that process was simple, drive back to the lot and they’ll give you a ride back. You’ll get an email receipt within an hour.
Overall Silvercar was a pleasure to work with and I’d definitely rent with them again!

Great cars but I had 2 issues.
1. The in car wifi did not work.
2. They overcharged to refill tank.
1. Wifi was not available in the car because the internet connection was not working. I called the facility and they were not able to successfully troubleshoot the issue.
2. Due to gas stations near the Austin airport being out of service I had to rely on the refuel service Silvercar offers. They claim «current local premium fuel rate for exactly what you use, plus a simple $ 5 fill-​up fee. No whole-​tank pre-​pays, and no exaggerated per-​gallon markups.» I was charged $ 2.93 per gallon. This was an «exaggerated per-​gallon markup» Local rates are a good $ 0.50 per gallon lower and in some cases $ 1.00 lower.
The stated features that I relied on were not as described. So I am giving 3 stars.

Outstanding service. This is the first time I have used Silvercar and will come back. The gentleman who took care of us coming and going was professional and pleasant. Once I got the app downloaded, the whole process was quick and easy.

It was so easy! I’ll never rent anywhere else. The app and notification system makes it effortless. It’s top notch service that I think should be the standard for all rental companies. Thank you silvercar for making my traveling so much easier.

Great first experience. The car we had was in great condition and I loved the technology. I’d never been in an Audi before and we are considering purchasing one now. We had a lot of fun cruising around Austin! There’s a gas station right next door to fill up so that is a major plus. The guys who took us to and from the airport were really nice and friendly. The prices can’t be beat! Highly recommend!

Amazing fast service, you can call them and they answer, you can text them and they respond, you can download their app and book a car within seconds. I first tried Silvercar in Austin in February as a local. I dropped off my car for some repairs and took one out for just a day. I assume if you are reading these reviews, you may already be a fan of Audi; I was not and had never driven or rode in one. Now I get it because the car driving experience is really comfortable. A great seat, sound, driveability and technology.
On top of that, Silvercar makes the process simple for pickup. I have an app, scan the QR code inside the app, the trunk pops open as confirmation that I did it right and the doors unlock. I drive off and already have pre-​planned when it will be returned. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about Audis as well.
Since then, I have rented a few more times locally just for fun, I’ve traveled to Denver and rented one for 3 days and I will travel to Chicago and rent from them at their newest location there.
At drop off, you can either bring the car back with the tank full or pay them $ 5 to fuel up at the local prices, not some sort of garbage rate that is double the normal rate at the pump. They send me a receipt almost instantaneously after dropping off and the process is done.
This really is car rental the way it should be. I had a experience in April with one of the big rental companies in NYC (no Silvercar there) and it wasn’t pleasant at all and I felt like a cow being herded in a field while trying to get through the massive lines.
The postscript is that I bought and Audi A4 last week as a result from both a positive experience with the quality Audi cars and Silvercar’s great service model. I wish them all the success in the world as they try to take this model across the country.

I just wanted to say how impressed I was with Silvercar as a service but also with the staff. Brandon at the Austin, TX location waited for me despite my flight being delayed and arriving an hour past closing time. When I did arrive at midnight, he was prompt, professional, and courteous.
Service like this goes a long way and has won me over as a customer. Not to mention, the premise of the service itself is great!

Me and my girlfriend rented an Audi from Silvercar for a day and could not have been more pleased with the service. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly staff member (Joe) who helped us with getting our vehicle and making sure we knew all about the features along with ins and outs of the car. My boyfriend and I came for a 3 day trip to Austin. We flew in so renting a car for a day was necessary to see all the sites we wanted to see.
Silvercar was by far the best option for price and luxury!!! Their service was quick and convenient (spent little time checking in or out!) and more time with the car! We were able to see all the Austin sights we came for and they were nice enough to take us back to our place!

The wifi in the car wasn’t great, so we didn’t use it, but come on — it’s wifi. In. A. Car. The GPS and satellite radio were amazing to have. Car was immaculate and drove like a dream!

On our very impromptu and short trip to Austin, we realized that we needed a car rental.
After looking up all the typical rental services, we found that silvercars prices were similar to the compact/​economy or better! Now why would I drive a kia rio or toyota corolla when I am drive a silver audi S4! (Which has been my dream car back when I was in high school… only in white and beige interior and wood trim… but enough of that!)
We texted right when we left the airplane and someone came to pick us up in a silver audi within 5 minutes. Unlimited milage, door to door service, free wi-​fi, bluetooth, navigation… there is no reason why i would go anywhere else! I only wish they came to the tri-​state area and offer them in other major cities (chicago, dc, la, miami, etc…) silvercar would be my new favorite rental service.
I think it works best for people who frequently travel for business or for small party of 2 or 3. It was easy to add a 2^nd driver also! There is a sign up discount so don’t forget to get your extra $$$ when you register for the first time!

Not too many places actually live up to advertising, Silvercar does. They picked us up in a few minutes after calling, gave us a beautiful Audi A4 with 3000 miles, i don’t think i would ever rent from another car rental service. Great experience that i highly recommend.

I finally got an opportunity to use SilverCar. Totally a great experience. The Audi A4 is a nice ride and I liked how easy it is to pair up with my iPhone. Nav system etc are all nice things as well. The app driven interface for reservation etc is way easy to use and I like how it takes the BS out of renting a car. Communication with Silvercar is simple and the concierge was friendly and helpful. Overall a perfect experience I will use them again. Plus I saved a boatload of $$$ over using my traditional Hertz Gold Service.

We just rented a Silvercar on our trip to Phoenix. Heard about them from being included in the swag bags given at the Oscar’s & thought they were going to be on the pricey side but was amazed to find them more affordable then the other big ones. Score! The service was awesome. Best car rental service ever.
Our flight from Austin to Phoenix was delayed and we didn’t get in until past midnight. No problem. Eric responded to our text he would be waiting for us. He was the coolest, knowledgeable car rental guy ever. These cars are way nicer then the norm also. Sirius radio, navigation, bluetooth and leather interiors. Plus they get you in & out super quick, it’s all automated not antiquated like the usual scene. Saved time, money, great service & much better ride. What more could you ask for.
Plus they don’t have all the fees the others do. If you turn it back in needing gas they just charge $ 5 plus market gas prices. It was an all around great experience. I’m so glad I heard of them & tried them Bc they have improved/​innovated the process and got it right. Trust me… try them once & you will be sold too.

A seamless customer experience. If I could invest money in this business, then I would. They do the things that traditional car companies should have been doing for a long time. The best part was the car. I drove a BRAND NEW Audi A4. What do I mean by brand new? I mean that it had less than 1,000 miles on it and was in mint condition. Keep up the great work, I want to invest.

Just tried it for my trip from Austin to Orlando. Wonderful experience! The car is luxury and comfortable. We felt comfortable and safe when driving it through heavy rains. We also had free wifi inside of the car. Although it took some time to stream a video from youtube, we still enjoyed it.

Unless you’re in the need for a larger vehicle, Silvercar is THE BEST place to rent a vehicle from! I say «unless» because Silvercar saves you the hassle of deciding of what type of car you want, what color, or what rate you want to pay… that’s because all the cars are mint condition sliver Audi A4s. Silver… car, get it? And prices per day are very comparable to other company’s so-​called «luxury cars.» Once you’ve created an account, keep an eye out for the occasional promo codes they send out.
And, talk about easy! You book online and they pick you up in the car directly at your airport terminal — no taking the bus to an off-​site location. And, if you’re a local and want to rent for a weekend road trip or whatever, they offer to park your vehicle at their facility — no extra charge of course. Frankly, I’m surprised they don’t wash it for you before you come back! ;)
But wait…“if you call in the next five minutes…” you get free onboard (no need to use your «hot spot») WiFi, free GPS, and free Sirius-​XM satellite radio! No up-​charges — never, ever. No fuss no muss. As an added bonus they are open 7 days a week until 11 — so you will never get stuck paying for that extra Sunday that you really didn’t need like at many other rental companies.
BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Honestly, have you ever seen any other rental businesses listing on Unilocal receive such high praise?! Me thinks not!
