NOPE… I had chicken stripes with buffalo sauce. too much sauce they put on those stripes. I didn’t like it at never going back for chicken stripes. but I had the waffle cone sundae with strawberries and m &m and molten chocolate lava cake and those two are definitely champions. will visit again for desserts…

They are pretty quick with their service here. I haven’t had to wait more than about 5 minutes or so on the last few visits I have been here. Food temp is just right and their onion rings are rather addictive.

Just went there for happy hour, now like 40 minutes later I come to realize my drink has an invisible leak out of one side… I had between my legs to so I look lovely now. Get less defective cups please.

I live nearby, so I swing by here a few times a week. The food is not particularly good, even by fast food standards; the tater tots are the sole exception to this rule. My advice would be to focus on the drinks and milkshakes, especially during the various«happy hours». You can get huge teas, sodas and milkshakes for outrageously low prices if you come at the right time. Their menu proudly boasts being«Your Ultimate Drink Stop». No argument here.

Fast and friendly service! The young guy who took our order was very friendly and patient. I appreciated that they have a good attitude. Service was very quick. It couldn’t have taken more than a few minutes to get our order. When we are visiting Texas(from San Diego) I usually crave some Sonic since they’re on just about every corner here in Texas. In San Diego we only have one and it’s not very convenient. I tried their new island fire super sonic burger with a side of tots and a cherry slush. The burger was good and lived up to the spice level advertised but the only issue was that it was a little greasy compared to their typical burger. The tots were hot and delicious. They needed a little salt but I didn’t mind because they included salt in the bag. My cherry slush was delicious as usual. They even included a few extra cherries in the cup! All in all most chain restaurants are the same but the service and quality here was great!

Bad! A Sonic Blast with Reese’s should have more than half a peanut butter cup in it! I shouldn’t have had it anyway. Need to eat better food from now on anyway.

My fiancé just came home with our dinner fromSonic. They completely forgot to include his entire portion of our meal, a burger and tots. I had to throw my hotdog away after two bites because I noticed a black, mold-like substance covering my kraut and onions. Disgusting. We will NEVER return to this Sonic location. What a joke and a colossal waste of 15 bucks. STAYAWAYFROMTHISSONIC!

I’m not sure why I’ve never reviewed this location before, but here goes… * Happy Hour is awesome. Even if you’re not thirsty, you will be just by looking at all the drink options. * Awesome ice. * Their coney dogs are pretty tasty for fast food, and taste even better now that they have improved them. I guess trying to go all Americana with their weiners makes for some delicious-tasting weiners. You can choose from chili/cheese, a Chicago dog, and a new BLT-type dog, just to name a few. * Can’t beat their sides/appetizers, like cheddar peppers and mozzarella sticks, but they’re a tad on the pricey side. * You can pay with a credit/debit card at the kiosk. Awesome sauce. * Desserts are pretty good, and you can get a teeny sundae for around a buck. My favorite is when they bring back the mini banana split sundaes. Just enough sundae to satisfy me without giving me the awful«ughhh I shouldn’t have finished that whole sundae» stomach pains. * Service here is pretty good, and today they apologized for the wait. And it’s cool when they skate to my car window. * I’ve noticed the music selection here on «Sonic Radio» is MUCH better lately. One more Justin Bieber song, and I’d have stopped coming here altogether. Sonic, you rock my socks.

It’s super unhealthy so I avoid eating here but I do take advantage of the half priced happy hour drinks. Servers have always been nice at this location.

It’s Sonic. You know what you are getting. I will say they messed up my coffee order, but were quick to fix it.

I rolled up here for some greasy hangover food the other morning, and as usual I was not disappointed. However, what is with people pulling up right next you when there’s plenty of spaces to provide a buffer? I feel a Sonic should be a lot like the urinals in men’s bathrooms: unless absolutely necessary, please position yourself as far away from others if you can. I’d like to place my order without some woman in the passenger seat of a compensation-sized truck glowering at me as if a #2 with mayo and a Diet Coke was an affront to her, her husband, and/or their God. Within 30 seconds, the carhop was at my window with an order. I looked blankly at it – wondering if I’d blacked out for the last five minutes – until she laughed at herself and said she got the wrong car. The gears weren’t working in my head either, so I didn’t really process this until it was time for her to return with my actual order. Yes – give me the ketchup and mints. I throw it out 99% of the time, but you just never know. Old habits die hard. And then it was upon me: the age old question of tipping at Sonic. Yes? No? $ 1? $ 2? The change? I never know what these people want from me. I gave her an extra dollar that was on the seat. I thought I’d spent all my cash. Interesting. She seemed disappointed, but then again they always do. I got home and threw everything on a plate. First thing – did this store have something against vegetables that day? My cheeseburger was literally a double-meat patty with cheese. Nothing else. That was it. Not a shred of lettuce, not one slice of tomato, not a single onion or pickle. I didn’t tell them to leave anything off, so wtf? Strange. The tots are an evil, evil thing, but they were warm and tasted fine. I suppose that’s what makes these little insidious fat pellets appealing. I forgot the vanilla in my Diet Coke. I’ve reached the conclusion that Sonic holds more of an emotional, memory-based draw for me than the actual food. It’s a childhood cherry-limeade-with-Mom kind of draw. It’s an after-school-in-highschool-lunch-with-the-group kind of draw. Or maybe it’s a college-pulling-up-late-on-a-Saturday-night-with-my-friends-Paige-and-Lisha-to-eat-Oreo-Blasts-and-harass-a-cute-manager type of draw. So while rolling in, rough around the edges from a night out to get a veggie-less cheeseburger and probably 1,000 more calories than I really need may seem less than exciting or fantastic these days, I can still say pulling up to Sonic makes me smile. Until I have to tip them; like I said… I never know what to do, and it totally stresses me out.

Happy hour is the best time to go because it’s surprisingly empty and, well, discounted drinks are a win-win. The service is OK, the food is OK, the drinks are OK. Not much else I can say, really. Parking at this location can be abysmal — as can entering/exiting into traffic. Be careful.

All I can say about Sonic is Route 44 diet limeades with cherries and Tater Tots. Ever since I was younger, my Sunday afternoons meant a trip to the good ol Sonic, where we would purchase drinks larger then our heads, a burgers with mustard and extra pickles and an order of tater tots. These diet limeades are something else. Even though a little research has revealed that they are really made out of sprite… it takes little away from the allure. In other states the sonic carhops swing on down wearing actual roller skates. How they manage to balance food, huge drinks and ice cream Sundays, while rolling around on 8 wheels is a miracle to me. For some reason this hasn’t made it to Texas.(Or if they once skated, I have yet to find a skating carhop at any of the Sonic’s in my neck of the woods.) Yes, Sonic is fast food(well, sometimes not so fast) but that doesn’t stop me from stopping in every once and a while. I also heard a rumor that they have cheap burgers Tuesday nights… check it out…
