Souper Salad

Great variety of fresh salad selections, hot soups and pizzas. Always friendly service and have never had a issue with the foods at any visit I’ve had.

My husband and I decided to visit Souper Salad because we remember having great memories eating there when we were younger. We were extremely disappointed when we arrived on Friday night, paid for a buffet and picked up a plate from the «clean» bin just to find that most of the plates were not clean at all and had old food stuck to them. Most of the food in the buffet was empty. And that was probably because it was scattered all over the place, including on the floor. The food that they did have looked extremely unappetizing and the soup was freezing cold. There were plenty of empty tables to choose from but 8 out of 9 of them were dirty. We finally found one decent enough to sit at and our waitress came with our cups of water. I noticed my husbands cup had food stuck on the side of it, which I find really gross, and asked the waitress to bring another one. I looked at the table next to us and a bin full of dirty dishes was just sitting there. Very appetizing. I could not even look at the floor because it was so disgusting. The soft serve area had oreo pieces and peanuts spilled everywhere and come to find out that they were out of ice cream anyway. We left, still hungry. But not much of an appetite left. Worst restaurant experience ever. We are not high maintenance or difficult to please in any way, but this was just awful.

I have been to this location before and had a better experience the other times.
The blue cheese dressing was runny, the veggies were old and shriveled up, the nacho cheese was watery and the salad bar was a mess.
Our server was quick with refills and to remove our dirty plates from the table so that was a plus. The cream of mushroom soup was spot on but the potato soup could have had more flavor.
They always have a great variety of toppings but I wish they had the larger plates more accessible to you after you make your first trip. On the hot food section they give you tiny dessert plates which im sure they do to help control food costs.
It also doesnt make sense to me that they have the fruit and sweets stuff at the end of the salad bar area but before the soup and hot food section.
I really like this place but since the last time I was there a few montgs back it seems their quality declined.
