Spectrum Dance Studio

My daughter has attended Spectrum Dance (formerly Tinka’s) since she was 3 years old. She is 8 and has been on the company for two years now. She has been learning tap, ballet, and jazz. She has learned a lot and has built her confidence. I appreciate the family feel of the studio. I also appreciate the personal attention Melissa, the owner, gives her students. Students are encouraged to do their best but also have fun. I also like the opportunities dancers have to perform not only in the recital and in competition but also in community events and nursing homes. Spectrum Dance is a great place to dance!

My daughters have attended dance here since they were each 3 years old (7 years and 2 years, respectively). They love the dancing, and I love the one on one attention my children receive. Melissa, the studio owner for the second year, truly cares about her students on both a personal and dance level. Plus, our recital this year was nothing short of spectacular! My daughters learn ballet and tap as their core classes, and my older daughter has loved learning contemporary, jazz, and hip hop as well. Our dance company, of which my older daughter is a member for the second year, did very well at competition this year and received several over-​all awards against several much larger dance studios. If you are looking for a dance studio where your child will receive lots of direct instruction, lots of encouragement, and you will get to see it all from the waiting room, then Spectrum is the dance studio for you!
