So, having surgery is no fun at all. Luckily, I have a great doctor and he thought having my outpatient surgery would be best at St. David’s. I haven’t had any surgical experiences at other hospitals, so I don’t have a lot to compare this to, but according to my doctor, St. David’s works the best with insurance companies and makes all the red tape less complicated, especially at time when you are so doped on pain medication to even know what is going on. The staff was extremely helpful and caring. They did their best to make me feel comfortable in stressful and somewhat scary situation. There weren’t any problems with all of the people that were coming in and out from visiting me. The only reason that I am not giving them 5 stars is that there was some miscommunication between my doctor and post-op nurse on what I could and couldn’t do the day after surgery.
