Just another starbucks. This one is near the Apple Store and the Mall’s public bathrooms, so at least they don’t have to passcode lock their toilets. Most of the outdoor seating seems to be run by the Tea/Pastry shop next door.

Came to get my daily ice coffee and Danish ! I ordered a Trenta ice coffee with classic and half and half and a cinnamon swirl cake ! Usually I have no complaints but today I was give my coffee with no classic and I was given a hard stale coffe cake absolutely disgusting !!! It was so dry and hard. If I would have tried it before I left I would have asked for a refund and went else where! For a location with a high volume of customers I expect fresh Danishes and my order to be correct. Im a regular at Starbucks daily sometimes 2 –3 times a day. Quality and accuracy are a must for me. On a plus side the gentleman who took the order was nice !

This is probably the lowest-rated Starbucks of all the Starbucks I’ve been to. Overall, the employees are slower despite the amount of people who flow through here on any given day(it’s the Domain, there are a ton of people shopping so they need their caffeine). I also feel like I have to say my order really… slowly…and…super…clearly… just to make sure it’s not missed. Then double-check it when I pick it up at the end. The last time I was there, the manager(!!) forgot to put in my extra shot. That alone costs $ 0.80 so I’m definitely double-checking its presence. I get mistakes happen or you run into a slower-paced barista from time to time, but it’s pretty commonplace at this location so be prepared to wait and verify your order a lot.

My husband and I were out for a bit of shopping and decided to grab some coffee before we got started. The store was packed, and everybody waited about 20 minutes to get their drinks. At first I understood the wait, as there were so many customers and only 3 employees… Although I couldn’t understand why there was only one person making drinks, one person at the register and third person not really doing anything. Then about 5 more employees poured out from the back. A lot of the customers were disgruntled. I felt awful for the one barista busting her butt without help from any of the other 7 employees. My latte was delicious and the poor barista worked her butt of but still remained calm and collected. However something is terribly wrong with the management. I hope they realize how lucky they are to have the employees they have, and make some changes to their system soon or they may risk losing customers and employees.

Very dissappointing. After waiting close to 20 minutes for our drinks, the whole order was poorly put together. –My mocha was bitter and unsweetened. –The kids hot chocolate was verging on boiling rather than lukewarm and also bitter and unsweetened. –The milk for my son was room temperature like it had been left out of the fridge. Not a location I recommend. There is such a ridiculous number of people inside that it is a complete waste of time to attempt getting your drinks remade…

One of the worst Starbucks in Austin. Always crowded, very small area which is always congested, employees are usually friendly, but, more often than not, they seem annoyed, especially when they make your order wrong and you ask them to re-make it. Then they make it wrong again and your left with the choice of asking again(which takes awhile cause they’re busy with other drinks) or walking out as a dissatisfied customer.(Again.) How hard is it to read what’s printed on the cup. If I ask for no foam, please scrape out the foam. And when you do scrape it out, please top it off with new milk, don’t leave it only ¾ full. LOL. Would be nice if they opened up another Starbucks here at the Domain. That way a lot of potential customers won’t walk away because of the long lines they see

If the wait is close to 30 minutes the barista should let you know. They need more help and a better practice.

Baristas are too busy talking amongst themselves. I ordered«shaken sweet tea» and she asks what tea. I say sweet tea. She asks green, pink, lemonade? I say sweet tea. I’m the only one waiting, and out comes a green tea lemonade. I have to ask them to make it again. The other customer at the next table from me tells me she ordered a tall and the barista writes it on the tall cup and charges her for a grande. I think this location doesn’t care because domain shoppers have to come here.

Interior is too small given the location, so it can be cramped waiting for your drink. May God have mercy on your soul as you attempt to find seating. Plenty of room outside. Bandwidth is what you’d expect. All that being said… staff is great & they’re pretty swift.

I’ve been going here seven times a week for the past year and have never had an issue. All the workers are so nice. Yes the line is long blah blah blah but it always moves fast.

I would give zero stars if that were an option. This is the worst Starbucks I have ever been too. Even worse than air port Starbucks. I work in the domain and I have been a gold member for over a year. I will leave my house early and drive to one that is out of my way just so I don’t have to step foot in this Starbucks. The breakfast sandwiches are always just thrown in to the bags falling apart, and the coffee tastes burnt. For such a high traffic store they need better people working there. I am never greeted with a smile but with an angry glare. I hate this store. Ps. They have now refused to give me one water cup with my purchase of two venti coffees. Seems a little ridiculous to me.

I had gone to many Starbuck location but this one was much under my expectation. The coffee was okay but not the services. They kept chatting and didn’t even care about taking care of their customers

Yuck. Been to Starbucks all over the world including Asia and Europe. This has to be the worst. Store was filthy, staff was barely paying attention and poorly trained, and worst of all the normal consistent cup of coffee(even if not the best) was sub par. Hot day but next time will walk on by. Howard? Expect better!

Drove from San Antonio to Austin for a weekend trip. Arrived at this Starbucks and decided to order a cup of coffee. I also wanted a cup of ice to crunch on since it’s super hot outside. The barista was rude and didn’t seem interested in his job, moved me along the line. I got my coffee immediately, but I had to wait 10 minutes for a cup of ice. I asked the barista if they can please just grab my ice since it’s not a specialty drink. They said«you have to wait in line!» 5 min later I asked where am I in line for the cup of ice, she said 6 more people ahead of you. I got angry and almost walked out, but I just waited. I glared at the barista, thinking how ridiculous this is. Never at ANY Starbucks have I EVER experienced the rude, shitty service. I am a Starbucks fan and I go at least 2−3x a week(not the one in Austin). The snobby barista finally gave my cup of ice and said in a fake voice«have a nice day»

Water Tyrants! Paying customers must follow a strict 10-minute procedure for obtaining water. They do not provide jugs or pitchers for self-service. I experience this and then later, so did my friend when he joined me. He ordered a hot tea to enjoy during his stay and cold water to drink quickly after having just come out from the heat. He was handed the hot tea(and hot water) at the register but his cold-water cup was put in line behind all the specialty drinks. When I went to refill my cup from their faucet(within easy reach) I was reprimanded with«Hey, you’re not supposed to do that!». Apparently, it’s not about man-power or how busy they are – they just don’t want customers to be able to get water for themselves or be able to drink this natural and life-sustaining resource when they need to. Obnoxious.

Tell me why I’m sitting outside this Starbucks and it’s closed when the signs says 11pm and is only 10:37pm lol If it closes at 10pm I would imagine their online && store sign would have the right time it closes…

It’s a standard, run-of-the-mill Starbucks. They make decent coffee and have a few seats you can sit down in for a second. All of that would earn it 3 stars, but it’s a bit worse than average. First, the vast, vast majority of the seating is outside, which is fine most of the time, but means you can’t set up a laptop and work for the afternoon. Ok, so maybe it’s just a place to drive up get coffee and drive off. That would be fine except that the parking situation sucks. There are about 7 spaces on a strip of 45 stores here and the spaces behind are almost all reserved for valet parking. To actually find a space you have to go into the garage across the street and even then it’s a pain. Come here if you happen to be walking around the domain. Otherwise, go pretty much anywhere else.

Mr. Smidgens and Robynn G. walked into this Starbucks at the Domain expecting a huge line. We were surprised to see a short line that would give me just enough time to run to the restroom. You see, Mr. Smidgens and the lovely Robynn were doing a bit of shopping and we fancied a cold drink. Let me paint you an annoying picture with my annoyed imaginary brush. We placed our orders for two iced teas. Mind you we ordered at the same time and our teas came out 3 orders apart. That’s one strike. Let me tell you about the others. As I stated earlier, I needed to use the restroom. I went in did my standing business and washed my hands. What the? ??? No paper towels! !! Many of you know about me and germs. I used my t-shirt to get out. I get back in line just in time to order. We order and I am going to pay with my Starbucks app. Well wouldn’t you know it, it’s updating. The guy ringing us up decides to make fun of my Galaxy phone for not being an iPhone. I laugh and say it’s the SB app that is slow. I scan the virtual card and we wait. I see a girl with a puppy. She gets her drinks and asked the barista for some water. It was for her puppy. The barista snaps back and says, «You need to order that at the register. «The time it took her to snap those orders to the young woman and her puppy, she could have just given her a water. Strike 2! I watch this barista work like a machine with the scowl of a gargoyle watching it’s prey. She was making drinks and slamming them down, never acknowledging their owners unless they upset her in some odd way. «Robynn!» Robynn grabs her drink and patiently waits to grab mine since it should be next. Nope! ! I watch as the barista drops the whip cream and it gets all over the service counter. 3 orders go by as she slams the drinks down in the now melting cream. «Jack! «Finally! ! Robynn gets my drink and grabs two sleeves for our drinks near the guarding barista. She strikes! ! «If you need anything from behind the bar, I will get it for you! «Strike 3! Never ever ever ever snap at my girl!!! I don’t care if you are having a bad day. I don’t care if you think that bar that you work behind is your castle. I don’t care if you think you can treat people that way. Mr. Smidgens will not stand for it and neither should anyone else. So. Erin, this goes out to you. If you cannot hack being a barista in Austin, Tx at the Domain, find another job or drop the attitude. We both worked in the service industry and we never treated people with the disrespect that we saw and were treated to first hand. There are less stressful jobs in the world. Mr. Smidgens gives respect where respect is deserved. This was not one of them. You make a great drink Erin, but your attitude left a bitter taste in our mouths.

This location needs to expand. There’s always a long line. Barista’s are friendly and never mess up my order.
