We have been exploring more of the Steiner Ranch Trails and enjoying that each one is a little different. There are numerous trail-heads besides the listed address some are hike and bike and some just hike with some improved and some unimproved — the trails allowing bikes are the less improved and more rugged. Typical of this area you can expect some steep grades and a StairMaster workout with panoramic views. All trail-heads are in neighborhoods without parking so be polite to the residents when parking on the street and consider car pooling. One of my favorite trails is further down Quinlan Park across from the Savannah neighborhood and the new elementary school(park here as no parking on Quinlan) — if driving from 620 you will see the trail-head signs on the right after the road becomes one lane.
