I just received the order of the white«chocolatey» pretzels and was dismayed to find that the product contains both palm kernel oil and titanium dioxide. As well as being quite expensive the product contains palm kernel oil which is a saturated fat and titanium dioxide which is a chemical used in paint. Great in paint, bad for humans!

This is the most unethical fundraiser around. I ordered 50 dollars worth of popcorn and after I hit send, my sister told me she sent the wrong link for her sons fundraiser for Boy Scouts. In an effort to support him, I contacted Trails end… Only to get some answering machine. Then I sent multiple emails only to get a «sorry you can’t cancel your order» What a horrible company you are. I will never EVERSUPPORTYOURCOMPANYAGAIN and buying your overpriced popcorn. I will hand the money straight to the boys scouts and you can shove that popcorn where the sun doesn’t shine.

My husband came home from the grocery store with a bag of this popcorn — the one with the chocolate drizzle — because he knows I LOVE popcorn. He was happy to tell me that the Cub Scouts were selling it outside of the store, and since we always buy Girl Scout cookies, he thought he would support the Cub Scouts as well. We tried the popcorn and it was pretty good, but then I asked him how much it was and when he told me it was $ 20, I almost fell over. TWENTYDOLLARS for a bag of popcorn — SERIOUSLY??? That is absurd!!! Then I started looking at the reviews and see that the price varies depending on where you buy it, but it’s all very expensive. I can’t imagine who made the decision to make this the fund-raiser of choice, and I would not want to be the parent who is sitting there with the kids trying to help them sell it. Whoever it is, find something else more reasonable next year.

Today I went grocery shopping and there was a couple cute little scouts outside selling their popcorn. I really cringed when he told me the little can of Carmel corn was $ 10. I did buy it. We have to take into consideration that the big price is to help the scouts. Then I opened the can and ate some. Absolutely nasty. Never again. I will hand the scout a few bucks but that’s it. I gave up on the over priced Girl Scout cookies years ago. Used to look forward to the GS cookies but when the price when up up up and the quality down down down. Enough said. You know those $ 5 canisters that have the 3 different kinds of popcorn, way better. The BS should check that out

I was«guilt-ed» into buying a bag for $ 14.00 @ the Killingly Common’s Lowes. What a fuckin shame. SHAME on the Boy Scouts, SHAME on Trail’s end.

OMG — I helped my grandson try to sell popcorn the other day. I went into shock when I saw the prices. He held up a 5 oz. bag of plain popcorn and told a potential customer the price. It was $ 20.00. Yes, that’s right — four dollars an ounce for plain, ordinary popcorn. The customer gulped and walked away. I was embarrassed for the poor kid. What are they thinking when they saddle the kids with an overpriced product. Our kids come from poor neighborhoods with working-class parents. They can’t take the product down to daddy’s law office and sell. We hear all kinds of brilliant ideas for selling, but people are NOT going to pay these prices. Memo to Boy Scouts — give the kids a chance to make some money. Have them sell an affordable product.

This fundraiser is horrible and a complete rip off as the only ones who benefit from this is Trails End. First, they use the troops as a come on; then they say 70% goes to the scouts. A bag of popcorn cost a few dollars. This type of fundraiser only hurts the kids as it is way too much to ask of people to contribute. The cheapest way out will still cost you $ 25.00. who has that kind of money to spend on a donation and/or a 9 oz. bag of popcorn. This is a disgrace to have these kid try and raise money through such a scam program. Boys scouts of America I’m sure is getting a great cut off this!!!

I ordered two of the Trails End Popcorn, Toffee and Kettle corn. I was completely appauled by the Kettle corn. It was 6 oz of popcorn for $ 20. What a rip off! I only purchased this to support my nephew, and have been for several years, but this year, we really, really disappointed by the little amount of kettle corn that came in the packaging. Don’t make the same mistake I did…
