Stepping Stone School

My son’s vocabulary has expanded greatly since he’s been enrolled and his social skills are better than I could have hoped for. I’ve never had a single disappointing day and I have the amazing staff to thank for that. Anyone with a toddler knows that getting them to do anything against their will is pure torture which is why I’m so happy my son loves attending school here! I love getting photos showing what my little one has been up to throughout the day. No doubt in my mind that I chose the right place!

My son has been going here a year and he started when he was about a year. They have a great plan for a curriculum (sign language, arts and crafts, role playing, tad poles reports), nutrition (not hot dogs, bring your own milk if u want, whole grains), and activities (gymnastics, sports, &music) and the only problem is executing it. They seem to not pay their teachers very well. They have lost a director, several teachers and their chef over this past year. Recently, my son went through 3 teachers in one month. The teachers faces keep changing which makes me concerned about keeping my son at the school; which is sad because they have so much potential if they would only invest in the people who take care of the children.

We were reluctant to move our son from Country Home Daycare to Stepping Stone because we were worried about the transition (we are first time parents and he was only 15 months when we made the change). Do I ever wish we would have switched sooner! Ms. Kim (the Principal) is amazing! I’m not sure how she does it all, but she does. I’ve seen her driving the bus, cooking food, soothing babies, teaching toddlers, mentoring the «teachers», etc. She has this machine very well oiled!
The campus is beautiful and very clean; The curriculum is TOP NOTCH. I don’t feel like I’m just dumping my guy off for the day. I know that he’s going to learn, play and be very well taken care of. Best decision we’ve made!

I am a first-​time parent. With that, comes much angst about where to send your new little one. Without any reservation, I can say that Stepping Stone School at Southpark Meadows is absolutely an amazing choice. The school was initially suppose to open in January. The school office and campus principal, Ms. Kim were always in contact with me about the status of the opening and always asked if I needed help finding care. As a new mom who knows absolutely nothing about daycare, this was such a welcome relief. Stepping Stone School accommodated us in another one of their campuses until the Southpark Meadows location opened.
The school opened on March 2^nd and even within one day of going there, I can say that I am absolutely in love with this school. Every teacher I have interacted with seems happy, professional and genuinely interested in the well-​being of your child. Ms. Kim (the Principal) is hands-​on and always interacting with children and teachers. The communication you receive from this school is unbelievable: pictures from the day, reports that are sent directly to your email and the staff will not hesitate to call you to give you an update on your child.
The facilities are beautiful, new and clean. My son is happy when he arrives and happy when I come pick him up at the end of the day. I just can’t say enough good things about this school.
