New employee provided a miscalculated quote by $ 1500. Additionally, they failed to indicate they could not meet my budget which was clearly advised on day one. The first quote was slightly over budget but was reasonable, the second ‘adjusted quote’ was where they decided to triple my budget two days prior to install. Needless to say the owner would not even give me the time of day to call me and apologize yet instead wrote an email about how they cannot, «take on the job at the miscalculated total because it would be at a loss.». — Nolan Corgill, 2016.
I wouldn’t have even wrote a review and just moved on to another AV company, as they were many in Austin, but the fact that the owner does not even has his phone number in his email signature, put an incorrect phone number when registering his domain name, and from as far as I can tell stay completely hidden… I felt like it was only fair to warn others.
Don’t waste your time with this company, and do not trust anything they say as it is subject to heavy change at any point. Even if its their fault, its your expense.

I have used Nolan for two large projects. Most recently, Nolan completely created a theater room for us with state of the art audio, projector and screen for a very reasonable price. The installation was absolutely flawless for a very difficult retro job. I could not be happier with the work and professionalism. I would highly recommend Sterling AV!
