They would not give me a ballpark quote over the phone for replacing two bathroom sinks, not even an idea of the costs might be. They would only give me a 49. trip charge, and assure me their rates were a flat rate by the job, and not by the hour. Supposedly this would be cheaper. HA! After their plumber came out, assessed the job, he quoted me the price, which was ridiculously high. He was very polite and courteous I must say, but I wrote out the check for the trip charge and said goodbye. I guess some people will pay the amount quoted rather than be out the 49. Their cost for the job was double what I was quoted from other plumbers, but of course I didn’t know that until they came out.

They were not clear on price before completing the work and then charging us, but did get the job done.

Sully’s was the company assigned to me through my home warranty company. I couldn’t be more impressed with their friendly office staff and Jacob, the plumber who replaced the valves under my bathroom sink. The home warranty company was a real challenge to deal with, keeping Jacob on hold for half an hour, disputing the claim. Jacob never lost his cool and when the claim was finally approved, he also tested the water pressure for me on the house and verified that the pressure in the shower was in good order. He was lightening fast with the work, didn’t even make any mess to clean up, and is the kind of person it is a pleasure to have in your home.
I’ve used another plumber in Austin that I don’t feel like writing a bad review about because there were some things that were just fine and they were cheap, but I can tell you after dealing with Jacob and Sully’s Plumbing, there’s just no reason to go the other guys.
