People don’t often take the time to review apartments unless they have a horrible experience. But this place really is a gem – I’m actually somewhat hesitant to tell people how great they are because I want to keep the secret. Sundance is one of the best deals you can find in south Austin. For three years the rates and annual increases were very reasonable when compared with others in the area. The community is not new or fancy, but it is less than four miles from downtown while still in a quiet, residential area. The many trees throughout the property make it feel very comfortable, and a bus line runs from the adjacent street to downtown and UT. The management team is small but friendly and responsive, and there is a nightly security patrol. There is a train track that runs parallel to one side of the complex, so take that into account if you are considering a unit on that side. There is also a train crossing nearby, but it’s a «quiet crossing» so whistles are rarely used. If you are looking to rent in south Austin, Sundance is definitely worth checking out. But be prepared to wait a few months – once people discover this place, they stick around.

Évaluation du lieu : 5 Austin, TX
The Dance is the jewel of apartments in South Austin. Where to start? Firstly, if you’re a location snob, you can tell everyone you live in 78704. Don’t own a car? There are four bus stops on the street next to the complex. And, you’re right on the edge of the car2go operating area, so there’s always an overly large roller skate to drive downtown. Only own a fixie? Well, take south 5th street downtown, no worries. The best part? You’re paying less than a dollar per square foot. Yep, you read that right. I guarantee you will not find a better bang for your buck these days anywhere in Austin if you’re looking to rent. Nothing is perfect of course; it’s close to the train tracks, which some people hate. The apartments themselves are older; the range is electric, the kitchen is galley style, which might turn some of you off. Then again, management is always responsive, the rooms are spacious, there’s a pool, and did I mention free air filters? Whaaaat! Honestly, for 2013 Austin living? It doesn’t get better or more affordable than Sundance Apartments. Your biggest problem is going to be finding an open apartment, they go within 24 hours sometimes! Good luck!
