I’ve been going to this location my entire life and have never had a problem. Although I have naturally curly longhair and all I’ve ever really done is take as much as 4 inches off. Nothing too fancy just trims and cuts. They’re great with layering my layers always come out looking great. This last visit I got Carmen to cut my hair and she was absolutely amazing. Not only did she do exactly what I wanted and more but she kept a conversation with me and was hilarious! You can tell she loves what she does and she’s great at it. The past couple times I’ve gone in. She has been booked up so I was happy that I was able to walk in and there was no one else in mind so she could take care of me. I will be scheduling and requesting her from here on out!

I went in for a trim a couple of days ago. I was trying to grow my hair out and wanted only dead ends to be cut off and thought it was going to be a very simple trim so why pay a lot for it… well, my stylist said she would«clean up my layers as well». She turned me around in the chair(first red flag) and started cutting. She ended up cutting my top layers in the front extremely short. My layers went from long and soft layers to short, awkward and blunt pieces. She left the back of my hair long and I ended up with a slight mullet. Imagine«the rachel» from the 90’s, just longer and with very choppy layers. At first, I didn’t realize how horrible it was until I got gome. I cried that night and decided to go to a different(higher-end) salon to get it fixed. I paid $ 30 at supercuts(wth?) with a $ 10 tip. I ended up having to pay $ 72 at another salon to get it fixed. I had to get most of my hair cut off to fix it. I used to have long hair and now have hair to the middle of my neck(super cute now, though thanks to Jennie at Frenchys Beauty Parlor). Please do not waste your time here. I paid $ 40 for the WORST cut of my life and by someone who«has been doing hair for 12 years».

Had Carla cut my hair a few weeks ago. Absolutely horrible. Sometimes it is worth to actively listen to what a client is telling you. I won’t go there again. Alan Sager owns this store which should tell you that it is a bit outdated and neglected.

This review is for Lupe. I was a walk-in today for a haircut and I was so pleasantly surprised! After growing out a horrendous cut I got when I gambled on a walk-in at Floyd’s, I have been agonizing over Unilocal reviews of stylists for weeks. Driving home today I decided I couldn’t take it anymore and so I called 8 salons before giving up because no one had a walk-in. A couple blocks from home I spotted Supercuts and decided to pull the trigger. Lupe was very attentive, and very precise. You can tell she takes a lot of pride in her work and she’s super technically proficient. In the end I got the exact haircut I was imagining(and attempting to describe) and it looks amazing! Best haircut I’ve had in years and years.(and a seriously great blow-out too) If you are on a budget but nervous about places like Supercuts/Floyd’s/Birds where you are sometimes rolling the dice, come in here and ask for Lupe!

I didn’t even KNOW a Supercuts existed in my ‘hood, but I found it one day when the roommate asked me to take her to get a trim. Walked in on a Saturday and there was about 8 people waiting with a 30 minute way to get the roommates hair trimmed. We decided to shop a little down at Dollar Tree for 15 minutes and by the time we got back she was next! Woah! Superfast Supercuts! I sat down on the purple couch and started looking around the shop. Super clean space, vacuumed(purple) rug, no dust on the display cases with t he shampoos/conditioners and other hair products for purchase. The shop was even all decorated with Spring flowers and bright colors hanging from the ceiling fans to decorating the stations for the stylists. No complaints here in terms of cleanliness. As I wait for the roommate I noticed about 4 people walk in at different times. One woman asked for a specific stylist as the other 3 people came in to see how long the wait was. Every customer who walked in was greeted by the busy stylists all cutting or styling hair. Granted it was noon there was a 2 stylists having lunch in the back areas this did not make the wait any longer than 20 minutes to get seated in a chair. Only complaint I had was there was an in-transient man outside of the Supercuts store with a cooloer and some bags. He politely asked for change from me as we walked out. Besides being temporarily startled I did not mind him asking me. Roommate was happy with her haircut and didn’t have to pay full price for a trim(she has a pixie cut) thanks to Henry(the stylist). Usually, I recommend another popular hairstyle place off Congress to the roommate for trims but since they refused to fix a haircut the very next day she just received a cut from that salon, she banned them for life. I think Supercuts is going to be her go-to place for trims from here on out.

I want to write something bad. Why? Because I’m tired of being on the waiting list for Angela. But sigh– she’s the best of the best. Every six weeks I’m terrified she’s going to realize how talented she is and say Eff you Supercuts! I’m opening up my own money maker. I might die a little that day.

So you go to Supercuts for a cheap haircut on the fly! What happens if it costs $ 35 and looks like a $ 5 haircut? Regret it and never go back. End of story! Really — if you don’t mind getting a cut/trim from a manager working towards their bonus, not a hairstylist, then this is the place to go. But you could easily find a much more professional cut and style for $ 10 more!

You get what you pay for. Although, I didn’t feel like I paid quite enough to love the snotty comments from the stylist. I color my hair — GASP. She managed to point that out 2 or 3 times. It’s thick and heavy — WHOA. I had no idea. I should have it trimmed way more often. OMG. I am floored. Really. Now that she had pointed out the obvious more than enough times, on to bashing my choice of hair care products. Snip here, snip there, good enough. I paid $ 13 for a haircut. I got a $ 13 haircut. Still a few split ends mixed in, but I didn’t want a new style. Trim only, whatever, she got most of it. I think I’ll save up for someone who’s a little more gracious and pleasant. Short wait time and nice and quiet plus convenient to my house was worth $ 13.

I once was going to get married. She was hot! Think, J-LO mixed with Beyonce, and Zhang Ziyi. That woman was bangin’. She met me once. We hit it off. I had a hat on though. She gave me her number. I had a date. I had it going on! She was whoooooweeeee! So our official date was a week away. I had it all ready. I just needed a hair cut. I just got off of work, the date was an hour and a half away. I stopped by here. The sign on the door said they closed at 8pm. Eight pm. Did you understand? 8 o’ clock at night. I get to the door at 716pm. Seven sixteen at night. I walk in. The staff said… staff– Sorry we are closed. me– huh? staff– We are not taking anymore cuts me-The sign said Eight. staff– Well we leave at eight. Our last customer is at seven. me-?(i wanted to say ‘what the Effffff’) So i had some shaggy hair. Could not style my hair for SHT. My date made fun of my hair. She never dated me again. She had excuses but I know it was because i looked like a Bum. A bee you emmm. BUM. Supercuts ruined my chances to marry a hot girl. My future wiz, my wifey, my moon, the woman of my children. why? Because your staff were lazy pricks. I called supercuts tonight. It is a Wed. night. I asked them what time they closed. The person said since they were slow they were closing now.(it was 728pm.) I said that is was cool, I just wanted to know what time did they close. She said. 8 o’clock. …but. …they were closing at this very instant. ummm it was only 728pm… pricks. Boycott.
