When I moved into this 2-bedroom duplex, I made my office functional and shoved everything else into the closet. My office basically became the repository for all of the other things that needed storage. Some of my art supplies and other office-related odds and ends lived on the floor. Recently I’d grown fed up with the clutter all around my workspace and opened the closet doors. Everything could have a nicely organized home if only I used this closet space better. Enter Suzanne! I chose Suzanne because she bills herself as a holistic organizer. As a spiritual entrepreneur and artist, she seemed to be speaking my language. I signed up for her starter package and we got the ball rolling right away. She came over for an in-home assessment of the space. After asking me to explain systems, space, work habits and stuff, we set a date for the office make-over. We exchanged ideas over the next week about organizational systems. When the day came, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I couldn’t imagine my desk without piles of paper or the floor space not cluttered with stuff. Suzanne works very swiftly, from emptying out my closet to reorganizing things into pre-purchased bins and drawer systems to putting everything back into a new well-organized and well-labeled space. She was very considerate of my space, belongings and my feelings. Having to reorganize and explain my stuff can be emotional, and she was very aware of that. I was most impressed with her speed, skills, and resourcefulness. Now, the energy in my office is so light that it’s a joy to be in there working. Everything flows and feels better. I hadn’t realized how bad it really was until my office received an amazing make-over with Suzanne!
