Honestly I had given up on finding a place in the USA that makes authentic Shawerma until I ate The shawerma here it is to die for, I’m syrian and i grew up eating this food so I know how its supposed to taste and they make it exactly how I wanted it to taste. Thank You fadi for having the best shawerma and humus ive had in the USA I tried the baba ghanouj, humus, chicken shawerma and the yalanji and all of it was amazing

Fantastic, inexpensive and authentic Syrian food on Cesar Chavez. First of all, the hummus is the best I’ve had in Austin. The consistency is smooth and not to oily and tastes like gold. I usually get the falafel plate which comes with an awesome fatush salad and two sides(I recommend grape leaves and the aforementioned hummus) The plates are under 10 bucks and are massive. This place is going to be a staple for me when I eat out

I had the opportunity to read the reviews and I liked that one of the lady who asked to put Tabouli in a shawarma sandwich. LoL that so creative and funny. I’m gonna do the same and ask McDonald’s to put Greek salad in my hamburger !! By the way, you have the best Syrian shawarma in all the nation(at least better than what I tried before in Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Detroit, Cleveland, Toledo, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Washington D.C., Boston, and Houston)

Amazing! The chicken shawarma was really good. Lots of spices. And just the right amount of garlic paste. I would totally recommend to check it out.

I was on a road trip visiting my friend in Austin and I stopped at this place and was really surprised with the flavor of the different wraps. The beef shawarma reminded me of my moms shawarma growing up very authentic, traditional and fresh. I give this place a 5 star for food quality, ingredients, and hospitality of the employees

Today I used for the first time the bitesquad service. It was fast and very convenient. I ordered from your food truck and I was expecting a shawarma with tabouli(on the side), garlic sauce or tahini sauce but I got a well seasoned chicken with mayo and a pickle! Why a pickle? Why mayo? If I wanted that I would have ordered a burguer. Please don’t americanize food that is already fantastic on its own. The beef shawarma I ordered for my husband wasn’t good either and the fries were greasy, soggy and somewhat dry at the same time. And instead of the garlic sauce I asked on the order I got more MAYO. The kibbeh wasn’t the best I’ve had either.. I couldn’t feel the onions. After seeing the photos I’m glad I didn’t order the fattoush.
I’m really disappointed because I love middle eastern food, specially from Lebanon and Siria. I thought I finally found a real shawarma place in austin, instead of another bad wrap ruining the reputation of such a simple and delicious recipe. I understand that starting your own business is not easy and that it might sound like a good idea to adapt the flavors to the local taste but it really usually ends in a pretty bad product that is not one thing or the other. I know you can make it right and I’ll come back when your product is better.

I was excited to try with all the good reviews but was disappointed. I’ve had alot better halah for alot cheaper. The size of the portions were very small as well. Maybe I’m spoiled from«Halah Time» where the servings are huge and the cost is alot cheaper

Wow!!! Went here for the first time today. Was super psyched to find that they carry kosher meat, chicken and beef. Fadi was super nice. I ordered the chicken shawarma and its some of the best I’ve ever had. Glad I found this place and its so close to where I live. I will definitely be back

Absolutely amazing! I visited Syria in 2010, and got to try authentic shawarma firsthand. Syriano is legit! So well done, with the right seasonings and spices. Fadi needs a full restaurant! Everything I had was so good. EDIT: Wanted to make a quick update addressing the issue of authenticity. My husband is half Syrian himself, and grew up there. I was lucky enough to visit pre-war. Syriano and Fadi are the real deal. Shawarma in Syria is served with garlic sauce and pickle. Someone complained that it was«Americanized,» but that’s just not true. And Fadi does use real garlic sauce, not mayo. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and taste is subjective, but it isn’t fair to be misleading(even unknowingly).

Yum! This is your new favorite east Austin food truck! Good food & good vibes from the friendly chef. I had the falafel kebab(vegetarian friendly), my Syrian husband had the beef Shawama/(He was very excited about the pickles). We shared babaganosh. This is the real deal, guys. Everything was fresh, tasty, and authentic. Highly recommended.

Excellent. Totally satisfied my craving, though I think I may crave shawarma even more frequently now! The best I’ve had.

Dropped by to try Fadi’s and my jaw nearly dropped when I saw the ‘Syrian’ part. This is the best Shawarma I’ve had in the US, period– the closest thing you’ll get to the real thing in the middle east. I’m part Syrian and haven’t been able to get a good shawarma in years. I’ve run into so many guys claiming to have ‘Shawarma’ in Austin but they’ve been nothing but deceptive. I tried the chicken Shawarma at Fadi’s and got a taste of home! The garlic sauce and seasoning in the meat is to die for. Seriously, don’t miss out, he’s the real deal.
