I had the migas breakfast taco which was both tasty and filling. The tacos are made to order so it takes a little bit of waiting to get your food, but what you get is a piping hot, fresh taco. Compared to most breakfast taco joints this taco truck stuffs each taco with quite a bit of egg, on par with the big Torchy’s breakfast tacos. I will definitely be back to try the lunch tacos one day. I would give this place 5 stars if they had better salsa, especially if they had fresh pico de gallo available.

Had a chorizo and egg and a sausage (Elgin according to the gentleman) and egg taco. Both were great. They are a little slow but the tacos were very tasty. I docked one star because the salsa was pretty lame but other than that it was fresh and tasty.

New Taco truck in the parking lot of the old Pesos & Bucks (and soon to be Black’s BBQ). Straight forward, simple and clean with a single picnic table outside. These guys have breakfast tacos and lunch tacos. I’ve had breakfast twice and will return for lunch. Everything is made to order, and while that means you wait a bit in the cold, you get a fresh taco that is quite simply perfect (it’s a breakfast taco. You put Chorizo and Egg in a tortilla. The only way you can mess it up is if it’s old. Here, it’s fresh).
Breakfast tacos are $ 1.89 each and Lunch tacos are $ 2.49 each. They stuff the tacos so one is enough for me. One of the owners is also a Vet, so that’s a plus.
Check em out. Are they Torchys or TacoDeli? No. Are they Trendy? No. Are they fresh, and good. Yes, and that’s welcome in this neighborhood.
(Also, points for stating on the sign «Tell us about any food allergies» They’re paying attention!)
