I really dont understand all the hype. I went there a second time to give it another chance and still dont get it. The food is okay but nothing special

Service was great here! And everything is so cheap! This is definitely a hidden gem. The inside was impressively clean. I ordered some horchata and it did not disappoint. I will definitely be returning here! Fast + cheap+yummy. What else could you ask for?

Cheap tacos and close by. Not mind blowing but still good, I’ll definitely come back.

Let me put it this way: I’m from Mexico so I know a thing or two about tacos. The hands-down best carnitas tacos in Austin are in this place. Forget about«breakfast taco» foolishness– Carnitas are your breakfast from now on, got it? If you expect to have great service forget it. This is a taco place: you get in, you order, you eat. Be eternally grateful that your order came out correct. It is confusing, messy, kids will be screaming, drinks may possibly be spilled at a nearby table, but it’s all worth it. Other go-to dish of note: Consomé de cabrito aka(to me at least) the norteño pozole. The heartiest goat stew ever with chickpeas. You see the million little golden droplets suspended in the spicy red stew? Pure unadultered goat fat– it doesn’t get better than this folks. Only downside is that you get to smell like goat for the rest of the day. Again, worth it.

Great taco bar for an affordable price. And the salsa bar is amazing. Love this place.

For the price and quality of food, I was very impressed. I think it is pretty authentic in the sense that there were hardly any bollio patrons and most of the waitresses only spoke in spanish. They bring out a tray with all of the desserts in case you want to buy some. Also there is no line item for tips on the receipt — I think they expect tips in the way of cash. The waitresses did not check up on us as frequently as I would have liked. Our empty plates sat in front of us for much longer than normal.

We got here after a pretty late flight to Austin and noticed Taco More was opened late and had pretty good reviews on Unilocal. After walking in, we weren’t quite sure what to do, so the young lady asked if we were eating in or to-go, we seated ourselves. Someone else brought chips and salsa, the salsa was delicious and quite spicy, the heat builds and will open up the sinuses lol. My husband had noticed the salsa bar on the way in and decided to check it out. he came back with 2 more green salsas that were very delicious and just as spicy! There were also some sort of marinated onions he enjoyed as well after our order came. After reading many reviews about the goat soup, I have to admit I was not quite brave enough to try it just yet but I did have the Consume de Pollo and Fajita Torta. The food came out very fast, hot and delicious! It wasnt greasy nor dry, no American cheese whatso ever! The consume had some garbanzo beans which I’m not a fan of usually but these were very good and I ate them right up! My husband had the Flautas plate and said it was good… it was devoured Most of the young ladies do speak Spanish and I know very little so when I spoke some, one of the girls rambled off and there I was, deer in headlights. She realized that I didn’t understand and apologized and spoke in English, she was very sweet. The prices seemed very good for good portions for food that is fast, fresh and hot! We will definitely be back to this gem!

Short and simple. Taco More is my shit! The chick bitchin about her service and the tortillas not being home made must’ve wanted to find a reason to rate this place anything but 5 stars. I frequent this spot, so much that if I call in my order they recognize my voice and know exactly what I want, same goes if I just walk in, they KNOW!!! Street food/tacos, good/fast service, and inexpensive! I’m a taco connoisseur, every taco spot has its niche, this one hits home for me… My favorites, bistek tacos on corn, menudo, caldo de rez or de pollo, ceviche, I could go on… Only thing I’ve tried and didn’t care for was the pastor, it’s made very differently between different restaurants I frequent, but I can’t say I enjoy pastor at TM. Other than that, everything else it’s the tits there!

Not bad, but in the Taco Capital of Texas the competition is steep. The tacos are fresh, and there is a pretty great salsa bar. The tortillas don’t seem to be homemade which is a problem for a lot of taco connoisseurs that I know. The coffee is whatever. Strike one. Strike two is the service. The times that I’ve been there I am not exactly greeted. The employees seem irritated that I have walked in. On my first visit they seemed extremely irritated that I didn’t know«the drill» in terms of where I should order, sit, etc… When I placed my order at the cashier area, I asked for a fork to be delivered with my tacos. Instead of pointing to some plastic forks where I could pick one up, the cashier just said«okay». Then when I asked for the fork again upon delivery, the server acted very put-out. Finally I realized it was because there were forks in a common area along with salsa. Sorry if I looked like an idiot but it was early and no one welcomed me or pointed this out. I didn’t appreciate feeling like a jerk over a little miscommunication. No likey. This place gets three stars because the tacos are good. I don’t personally feel they are better than other tacos, but they are fresh and they have their own special twist. Good job on that. I may try their other location at some point. Hopefully the service will be friendlier.

Move over El Taquito, this is definitely my new genuine mexican taco go to place. It looks, feels and smells clean. The service is decent and fast, and the food is genuine. The chips and salsa will slap silly any other chips and salsa you’ve tried, chips aren’t greasy or stale and the salsa is just badass, they serve it warm and it has just the right amount of hot… think Ariana Grande. Unlike a Torchy’s(those are Austin tacos), the tacos here are more simple so less is more, its Taco More(yes I just said that).

Worst taco place in the world. The service is really bad, waitresses ignore you and act as if they have so many customers when they don’t. I’d never waste my time coming to this place ever again. Worst 15 mins of my life waiting for nothing.

This is my very favorite place to eat Tacos. I like to go to lunch here on my birthday. The cabrito consume, I crave fortnightly at least… everytime I eat it I am reminded of what happiness truly is. Salsa bar! Mucho Amore! If I have taken you here, you know I think you are pretty great. Best!

Really Good Authentic Mexican Food!!! Service is fast, Price is Perfect & Salsa bar delicious. I had some relatives visiting last weekend & they were craving some good Mexican food so the owner of the Airbnb place that I rented, recommended us this place. I didn’t hear any complains from them so that means its legit. I ordered the Shrimp cocktail, it was big with many more shrimps than other places I have been in Austin & at a good price. Stop by if you’re hungry & around the area.

I live really close to this place, but never had a desire to come here, that is until one day the place we were aiming for was closed. «Eh? Why not?» We decided to give it a go, and we were pleasantly surprised. There was a decked out salsa bar, and I love salsa bars!(My food to salsa ratio is alarming at best. Let’s just say I like to eat volcanoes.) The food was very cheap, and the portions were a little bigger than average. We mostly stuck to breakfast tacos, but there’s no knocking that. All in all, an inexpensive and all around pleasant meal. I will go back!

Legit. I’m authentic Mexican and this place just does it all perfectly. They have goat tacos, menudo, pozole, sopes, tortas. cabrito soup, pastor, aguas. The food comes out super fast and always tastes delicious. Salsa bar too! Only thing is it’s pretty Mexican so if you don’t know Spanish, or aren’t too comfortable being surrounded by hungry Mexicans it might be a little weird.

I was pretty bummed about leaving behind my favorite Mexican joint, Taco More on Parkfield & Rundberg to move 12 miles down south. That was the case until I saw TACOMORE in the familiar bright red sign as I drove down Riverside on move-in day. A couple blocks from my new place, I was ecstatic for such a convenient surprise. Upon my first visit, I was impressed with how well kept this location was in addition to how packed it was. The salsa bar was always well maintained and everything filled to the brim, which was not always the case at the North location. Yet, with a surprise so perfect, something had to give. When it comes to their tacos, they skimp on the meat. The tacos at their North location was always loaded with meat. Here on the East side, the tacos just seem… less. If I could make a conjecture, I’d say they’re cutting back on the meat to cover for the fancy brick and mortar. But overall, after having sampled all the other Mexican options in this area, this Taco More is still one of the best in quantity and quality. Yes, young padawan, you really can have it all here. Cheap, fast, authentic and unlimited salsa. Really, what more can you ask for from Taco More but more tacos?
