Taqueria Alayna’s

wow dude. grease. lots and lots of grease. so the thing is, alayna’s is cool. i mean it’s a window and a table. there’s something exciting about that. also it is cheap and you get a TON of food. the problem is that i had to spend a day recovering from the fact that most of what i ate could be used to power a bio-​diesel van on a trek across europe. just too much grease, however, i do have a bad stomach. (i wanted to give this two and a half stars, but that’s not possible.)

Literally, a hole in the wall, an interstice between a laundromat and a check cashing place. It’s amazing that the source of such goodness takes up such a small footprint.
Buy delicious, greasy tacos for very low prices, $ 1.75 for the breakfast tacos and $ 2 for the others. The convenience store next door sells cold soft drinks like Crush and Big Red.
As I said, this is just a window inside a wall, so it certainly it does not provide conventional seating. But if you go with some friends, you can stake out a parking spot and form a circle inside it, letting the wholesome grease dripping from your tacos mix with the machine grease deposited on the concrete by previous visitors’ cars. A prime combination.
