My favoritest place for breakfast tacos in the Austin area! They’re also near just jeeps whenever I have my jeep worked on :-)

Plain and simple delicious tacos. No frills, sides or unnecessary nonsense to feel like you got your moneys worth. Believe me you will without all that at this place. This place is right by my house which may be a bad thing now that I have had their food. Wow is all I can say. I had a barbacoa and el pastor taco. The lady asked me if I wantes cilantro and onions and I said yes. Fresh and amwzing toppings. I enjoyed the barbacoa more than the el pastor! Two tacos and a mexican coke made for a happy full belly and a great lunch!!! Really inexpensive!

This is a great neighborhood joint, especially for breakfast tacos. The salsas are good and the tacos are some of the best in town. It’s not fancy, but the food is delicious. We bring guests here from out of town for great tacos; they love it, even over torchy’s.

No enchiladas, ensaladas, tortas, quesadillas, rellenos, «plates», or any other unecessary food served here when they do one thing better than everyone else. Simple Tex-Mex tacos. No filling it up with 5 veggies or smearing a spoonful of avocado to hide the few pieces of dry meat most places serve. Nor do they hide the quality of the main ingredient by smothering the taco in grease. There are a dozen tacos served here and the ingredient you order is what takes up 95% of the filled taco they dish out. When I used to live in the neighborhood, I’d come here each weekend AM and whenever I wasn’t running late for work. The breakfast tacos are my favorite in Austin as is their Chicken fajita tacos(the fresh cilantro, onions and lime give it that little push to the top). 2 staples of my diet. They also happen to serve the best eatery salsa I’ve had in Austin(the verde). The carne guisada, lengua, and bistec are good as well. Food is made to order and since you can call in your order(they get pretty busy during breakfast and lunch hours), I still swing by once a week or so. The 2 sisters in the truck are really sweet too. Don’t forget to bring cash

I read a review that said this place has really good carnitas. That was all it took for me to grab a coworker during our lunch break yesterday and drag him to this place. We passed by the place the first time because it’s actually a block down from Airport on Guadalupe. It was a little after 2pm when we got there. There was still a somewhat steady stream of what looked like locals picking up tacos, so we were encouraged. I had the carnitas and my friend ordered chorizo and eggs(his fav no matter what time of day). My carnitas were good, and he said his tacos were also. We both agreed that the tacos are better at El Tacorrido on Lamar and Rundburg.

I never write Unilocal reviews but I felt the need to do it for Taquito Anaya. I’ve known about this place for almost 2 years and am sad/shocked to see that I am the first to write a review. Ever since my first visit to this trailer, I have compared every breakfast taco I have had(in my 5 years of living here) to this place and I still think these are the best… ever. So where is this trailer treasure? I can’t give you an exact address to plug into Google maps but if you go to where Airport and Guadalupe intersect you will see their white trailer in the parking lot near the intersection(next to a small convenient store and a place that sells fire extinguishers?). What should you get? I always get the same thing: potato, egg, and cheese(sounds standard but these are amazing) AND a chicken fajita taco(fresh cilantro and onion on flour. don’t forget to squeeze the lime over it) It is always the same 2 ladies who prepare the food and they are very sweet(I was walking my dog in another neighborhood one day and they drove by in their car and gave a little honk and wave… super sweet and I was touched that they recognized me). If you ever have a chance to try this place out please write a review so I know I’m not crazy. p. s. cash only p. p. s. ask for the green salsa
