The bartenders may be busy but it was a rip off charging me double for a glass that was half full while others they poured right after mine were nearly ¾ full. Their excuse was that it was the end of the bottle, but truly it appeared that they did not want to stop to open a fresh bottle to make my purchase fair and correct. I live here and will not recommend this bar further due to this instance and other instances here of poor customer service.

The soft pretzels are delicious here and I think the environment is very good. I would say overall the bar is much better than the iPic theater itself. When you go to the theater if you don’t get the upgraded seats you have to order your food and bring it in yourself so I feel like it’s better to just go eat food at the bar and go to a different less expensive movie theater if you were going to do that. I don’t go this bar all the time but it’s a cool place to meet friends and have a snack, meal or drinks. I especially like all of the little garnishes they have at the bar for the different types of drinks. The soft pretzels are really good with the mustard and cheese dips.

Was told $ 3 to upgrade for a drink turned into a $ 15 upgrade without communication. Not only that, the drink was terrible. Hopefully, the theatre experience trumps the bar. Not the place to drink or eat. Customer service is average at best. Considering that everything is overpriced, there’s better entertainment options in austin.

Great place to grab a drink. Cool atmosphere, NFL ticket, free pool, lots of big screen tv’s to watch all the best sports. $ 2 draft beers during NFL games and .50 wings.

A dark and slightly more sophisticated atmosphere. Food is good but expensive. I stop by here often, but usually just for happy hour or when they have specials going on. The buffalo rolls and the sliders are my favorite. I’ve always received excellent service there, though I go enough that I know most of the people there. A good place to watch NFL, especially since they always do drink and appetizer specials on game days.

Service is always good. Obviously your best best is to get a drink at the HH prices and bring it in to your movie. They have pool tables too if you want to get there early and play a bit before a movie. The ambiance is nice, just like iPic. I wouldn’t come here to eat on purpose but definitely for drinks.

It’s nice but it is way overpriced. In a crunch it can be ok but the food is subpar. I had the sliders for take out and they were not good at all. I have eat there once before and it was ok. Once I was there and there was a rowdy classless bunch(aggressive and loud, about to fight) and pretty much no none did anything. It might be fun to be have a drink there again but nothing drives me to walk over; and I live across the street.

I miss this place. Yes, it’s pricey but great location, drinks, and food. Try the angus sliders and truffle fries. The drinks are delicious and can also come in a martini shaker if you are watching a movie. Definitely a plus! Also pretty good is the pepperoni pizza. Not your average, greasy pepperoni pizza at movie theaters.

Yet again another extraordinary experience at iPic! Our server this time was Bonnie, who was both attentive and creative with our needs. I had this amazing breakfast shot with Jameson, Orange Juice, and(I kid you not) bacon! Thank you Bonnie and iPic for another exceptional experience!

Food is pricey, drinks are ok, great place to watch your favorite team lose on a million screens. It’s a movie theater bar. Went last night to watch the Texans game… need to get rid of that memory. My friend and I sat down in the bar area in front of the pool tables. We were greeted by a waitress named Tabitha. She didn’t seem to want to bring us a menu at first but then decided to give us just one because we really wanted it? In any case our drinks were brought out and we ordered. The waitress seemed busy so we moved to the bar… Grilled chicken on a stick was very dry. The steak cubes were good and the tater tots were pretty awesome. The waitress took off the grilled chicken because it was difficult to eat. Overall, like the Texans, great potential but cannot execute well enough to get a win. I believe my next venture here will only be for a movie as I did not care enough for the service with most entres averaging $ 15 a plate.

Here’s the deal — you want to be a sports bar, but you want to overcharge and provide poor service all at the same time. UGH. Let’s break it down: 1. First Thursday night NFL game — you offer 50cent wings and $ 2 beers — OK, let’s try this. It’s busy, but our friends have a table for us, so we roll. 2. We get there and sit — takes a while for a server to come by, but that’s no biggie since we will be there for the whole game. A girl comes by — not dressed like a server, maybe a manager? Not sure. We ask for a tea, a cocktail and some wings(which there is only one type — SPICY) 3. Drinks finally come out — she asks«Do you need sugar?» — then proceeds to take quite some time bringing it to me.(Why wouldn’t you ask that BEFORE the drink comes out or just bring it with??!) 4. Food takes FOREVER. I mean way too long… we had ordered wings and coconut shrimp. So, it finally comes out(an expo ran it). When it arrives, I ask for setups and plates. I get an eye roll — I get it — the runner is annoyed that the server didn’t do her job and anticipate my needs — but don’t roll your eyes at ME. 5. Someone comes back with PLASTICCUTLERYANDPAPERNAPKINS(like paper towels from the bathroom). WHAT?! Half of our table had linen napkins and stainless flatware. So, you are going to charge $ 15 for 5 pieces of shrimp and give me a plastic fork? BTW, the coconut shrimp had ZERO flavor — it was not worthy of $ 15. 6. Wings were gross — oh, and I asked for wetnaps — because really, if you’re going to serve wings, at least let me clean my hands. «We don’t have wetnaps». Of course. 7. It was impossible to get a second or third cocktail, so we just went up to the bar to order. Our server talked to the table next to ours for a good 6 minutes — she must have known them — 6 minutes?! Screw it, I’ll tip the bartender instead. 8. When we asked for our checks, it took another 10 minutes. We even detailed everything we had — she came back and brought someone elses but not ours. Lame. 9. The best part? My iced tea cost $ 4.75 — yep — $ 4.75. I should have ordered beers, but I don’t drink beers. Get your act together — horrible service — icky food — I’d rather just go to an actual sports bar to be treated that way. At least the food would be better!

Despite it being a little on the pricey side(Those mixed drinks will damage the wallet), this lounge is a really chic place to hang out if you happen to be at the Domain. Fantastic atmosphere thanks to some excellent lighting, comfy seating and a very modern look. On the plus side, if you’re going to watch a movie. This place offers some of the best food I’ve ever had at a hybrid lounge/movie theater. Take my advice and try those chicken wing spring rolls– absolutely incredible concept, even better executed. Also tried the burger sliders and pizza, although I didn’t care much for their thai shrimp flavore one, try the traditional toppings instead. Staff was incredibly friendly and attentive the entire time, and made us feel at home. Great place to go chill out.

salt lounge always has the best drinks. They have specials for every sport imaginable! And Tuesdays they have happy hour! :) great place to come in the domain, even if you aren’t watching a movie.

Come to your movie early and enjoy the lounge. Good food, great drink selection; pool, Sports on TV. This is one if the perks of coming to iPic. Whenever I am going to see a flick at iPic I try to come at least an hour early so I can hit the Salt Lounge and enjoy myself, unwind and get ready for my film. They cocktails offered are Unique — many of them custom signature drinks. They have a great selection of wines, both by the glass or bottle. You can hit the bar or the rotary wine bar and best of all, you can take whatever you’ve ordered into the film with you when it starts. The menu is as well available to you as your enjoy your movie. I really am spoiled now and never go see movies anywhere else because no matter where I try there is no comparison. Even if you’re not looking to see a film, the S Lounge is a great spot to grab a quick drink or two and hang with friends. Ya — I’m a fan!

I was incredibly excited to try this place. I was even considering it for a company Happy Hour, but was hesitant because I had never been there. I tried calling to gain more info and it was impossible getting someone on the phone or to call me back. When someone finally did call back, it was very basic info that wasn’t very helpful. I decided to go out one evening with my boyfriend to check the place out. We walked in, excited to try some speciality martinis, and a woman working there greeted us, but rushed by. It wasn’t even crowded. We decided to seat ourselves at a table near the bar, hoping someone would come take our order…15 minutes later, as more waiters flew by us without a word, we decided to leave. It’s a bummer… if this place IS good… their service/wait staff certainly isn’t. :-/ Ah well…

I am so ridiculously impressed with this place. The food was spectacular and the drinks are amazing. The staff was also really cool to talk to. I can promise you that once word gets out about this place it will be PACKED.

I went to the Salt bar with some friends. We ordered some appetizers. I’m pretty sure it was the potato skins, because about 20 minutes later I was in the bathroom throwing up my dinner. At least the bathrooms were clean. The potato skins were pretty greasy, but I’m surprised at how fast that hit me. I didn’t want to make a big scene, and was looking for something on the menu to calm my stomach. Maybe something with rice or veggies? Something bland? No, everything here is just greasy junk food. Even the Alamo has some healthy options. I haven’t tried the theater but it sounds expensive, and probably lacks the wonderful irreverence of the Drafthouse. And I’m never touching those potato skins again!
