Barbershop in an Airstream? Unique concept much? Nah but for real, decent price and quality haircut. Brian is pretty cool too. I would recommend them for hair care.

Natalie cut my hair; she was a pleasure to talk to and knew exactly what/​how to cut my hair.
I’m super particular about who cuts my hair. They are affordable, convenient (they’re mobile and you can book appointments as well as walk in), they have positive reviews, and good attitudes (unlike other places around town)
I do wish they carried Suavacito/​Layrite pomade.

I have had Natali cut my hair and she did such a great job I went back to her for color. She didn’t disappoint then, either! She was very careful to listen to what I wanted and gave a meticulous, but pretty speedy cut. They have a great, full-​service setup and the whole Airstream concept is so fun. They are also very reasonably priced. I definitely recommend it!

Boondock comes to my office once a week and after thinking it over for a few weeks, I finally booked my appointment online and went for it. I booked the Gentleman’s Haircut Plus (Included straight razor neck shave, hot towel, shampoo and scalp massage) and it was one of the best salon experiences of my life. The environment is so personal with local music playing made it feel like a true Austin experience. The outside may be intimidating but once you step inside, Natali makes you feel so comfortable.
In short, I will definitely be going back to Natali. I gave her a general idea what I wanted and she took it to another level. She made a new regular today.

This place is rad, and they came to my office. The price is fair for the quallity. Definitely recommend it.

I have been able to get my haircut at Boondock once and I really liked it. Natali did a great job and it was just what I wanted. The reason for the three stars is that their erratic scheduling makes it hard to use them as a regular babershop. They seem to always have private events or be closed. Once I was able to make an appointment and they weren’t there.
So, I think the idea of a barbershop in an airstream is cool but in practice it’s a pain.

Super idea moves around so no mater where you live they will be close sometimes. Angelia was amazing to work with. She understood an idea i had been trying to accomplish better than any one before. I love the result. kudos!

I’m not normally a salon kind of guy. Boondocks might have changed that. I went in because I had to see what kind of haircut you could get in an airstream… Apparently it’s a damn good one. I had an idea of what I wanted and they executed it perfectly.
The trailer is decked out with 3 chairs and washing stations but still a comfortable amount of room so you’re not right on top of the chair next to yours. The stylists were friendly and engaging without being in your face.
Long story short I got a great haircut for a great price and will 100% be back.

I walked up to the Boondocks skeptical that an Airstream could actually produce a quality product, let alone an actual salon. Needless to say I was VERY impressed by their use of space. Don’t be fooled, it is still intimate, but you hardly notice with some of the personalities that work there. Angelia is so precious and adorable, with tons of personality and even more talent.
I got a mens cut at an affordable (stylist) cost. You want cheap, go to Sports cuts or something. This place is the epitome of Austin. A traveling salon with talented skillful hands. I even got a discount for booking online!

If you want a great haircut from an awesome person Angelia over at the Boondock is the way to go. Not only is she and the other stylists their amazing the space is so cool. It’s out of a fully furnished airstream trailer with a/​c and good music going on in the background while you relax and get an amazing hair cut. And after words step right out and get some food from anyone of the great food trailer in the park located where their airstream is setup. I definitely recommend checking it out!

Check this place out! Its very intimate inside the airstream which is absolutely perfect while getting your hair did and want to feel like its all about your look. Walk out of this place looking your best and feeling like you can conquer the world! Visit Angelia she is the sweetest human being ever and truly cares that you have wonderful experience aside from giving you an amazing cut and color! She radiates with positive energy so if your feeling down and need a pick me up go see her. She can make you look and feel so special! And when your down you can find a snack or have her recommend a fun place to enjoy the day even though A visit with her will the highlight of any week! TRUST ME! Definitelly a superstart sylist you wont ever want to cheat your hair on! BIG THUMBS UP on her expertise!
