My Mom just passed away, at the age of 96, after living at The Collinfield House for 6 years. She was the first resident here and her time here was probably the happiest she had been in the last 13 years, she felt safe, secure and loved by the caregivers and residents alike. The loving atmosphere and acceptance by all make this an environment as close to your own home as is possible when a senior needs help. It truly was a family for Mom. The staff is amazing, with the daily care, activities, and a true nurturing attitude, they filled Mom’s days with love. It was a great relief for me, knowing she was being well taken care of, better than I could have done, and that she was safe and happy. I would not hesitate to have another family member live here.

My father spent three of the best years of his life at the Collinfield House. He recently passed away at the age of 90. He loved and felt loved by every person at this facility. They have truly been a family to him. I mean the kind of family that you like, not just average family members. The staff at the Collinfield have been like angels to my father. Each of you represents the best that mankind has the offer. Each did far more than take care of his physical needs. You were his helper in every sense of the word. You loved him, had fun with him, and knew how to deal with him when he was upset or needed you. He loved you all dearly and it showed. He loved the physical touch and you hugged and kissed him and danced with him. He was playful and you played with him. He was angry and you calmed him. He was hungry and you fed him. You knew all of his favorite foods. He sang and you sang with him. He couldn’t sing and you sang to him. All of you have been, not just employees, but missionaries showing how good people can be. Money can’t buy what my father and our family received at the Collinfield House. Much love and many thanks, Jack and Cathy

I just left the Collinfield house. This assisted living facility was filled with joy and happiness today. There was a Hawaiian luau with professional dancers, lots of family, friends, and employees. Surprisingly enough, this is a common occurrence at the Collinfield house. I am so happy that my father-in-law gets to live in a place with so much activity, happiness and love. The employees and owners of this facility have my utmost respect and appreciation. The residents and their families are wonderful to be around.
