The Gold Gals – Appointment Only

In my humble opinion just mediocre. I took some broken/​unwanted/​out dated gold in for trade. I was politely told about my 14K gold and it’s percentage of «impurities». So when someone starts using buzz words like «impurities» it means a low ball offer is going to be pitched… and it was.
I went to the folks at Cedar Park Jewelry and was paid twice what I was offered here. I have the check in my had as testimony.

Pleasant experience here. I really know nothing about selling gold, nothing about jewelry period really, but the husband and I are trying to pay off some debts so we figured we’d give it a go.
The lady was really nice, warm personality, and knowledgable, friendly. She didn’t treat me like a low life or a criminal like most pawn shops do. I didn’t feel like she was taking advantage of me not knowing anything about what I was doing either. I some some jewelry and old coins. Some of the coins weren’t silver but minted sets and she even gave me advice on where I could sell them to get fair money for them.
I did however feel like I probably could have sold the pieces of jewelry for more at a pawn shop. They ended up being only gold washed silver. Sold them anyways though because I liked working with her rather some pawn shop crook. Definitely will return in the future if need be

So relieved and pleased to have found Gold Gals. It is so unlike the feel of a pawn shop, and I felt comfortable immediately. I have been putting off selling some old gold because I frankly never had a strong recommendation from anyone on who to trust. I was afraid to be taken advantage of. The consult was very private and personalized and I learned something about the old pieces from my late relative. I was able to see the process and decide what I wanted to sell and keep. I will be back someday!

I had a few pieces of gold jewelry that I wanted to sell. Looked to Unilocal for help finding a place to go. I went to the first shop located in Pflugerville, I felt very comfortable and the jeweler seemed very knowledgable about gold. He gave me an offer and told him there was one other
Place I was going to go. Had a very pleasant experience with the jeweler at Gold Gals. She was very friendly. I handed her my gold and after her inspection I was astounded that she offered me $ 70 more than the first shop I went to. I will definitely go back!

I visited the Gold Gals on January 3 and was pleasantly surprised by my experience. I had heard radio ads about them, so I took down a few mismatched earrings and broken gold chains. Every part of the process was explained in great detail, and all testing was done right in front of me. Especially for women, who would possibly be intimidated by going to a pawnshop, this is the place to go for an honest evaluation in a comfortable and non threatening environment. I recieved a nice little bonus check for a few odd pieces that had been in a drawer for years. Thanks for your great and friendly service!

After researching several other places I chose Gold Gals as the place to sell my gold and boy, am I glad I did! The reviews on this site were right on target. Not only was I treated with dignity, courtesy and respect, but Jean was extremely kind and compassionate. She reviewed each piece of jewelery I brought in and explained the process thoroughly. This was a new experience for me as well as a very interesting learning experience. I was offered a very good amount for items that have just sitting around in my jewelery box for years. I would highly recommend doing business here!

Very knowledgeable, friendly staff. Explained everything right in front of me, and paid me just as much as I wanted to get. Thea even refreshed the site that tells her the price of gold a few times to try to get me the highest price possible.

I did a small study with Gold gals, it was kinda amusing. 1^st visit I brought in 3.7 grams of 14K gold and was offered 32% of spot of Course I refused the offer because I knew what it was worth. Second I had a friend of mine walk in with 12.2 grams of 14k and was offered closer to 60% of spot, Finally I went in the last time with 8 grams of 10K and was offered about 36% of spot. All I can say is ask them what percentage of spot they paying. If they tell you below 80% then you are being robbed! There is a place in Cedar Park that pays 80 to 90% of spot on all precious metals.

Thea is the wonderful Lady who helped me with some old gold and silver today. I told her I had seen the great reviews on Unilocal as I walked in. Thea welcomed me (as you would an old friend). She began to look at my items, showed me how she was testing everything and began to categorize every the piece… so I would get the best deal. Never once did I feel pressure. This is not a scary place… I felt completely comfortable. Thea showed me what the prices were for gold and silver (at the exact moment) on her computer. Then gave me an idea of what could given for my items. I was stunned, said yes and walked away with a lovely check for «fun money».
If you need a place to get a nice bit of money for any old items… go see Thea!!!

Fantastic experience.

Just as advertised. I had a few minutes for lunch thought I’d stop by and see if the ads were really as good as they say. MUCH to my surprise I walked in and was immediately seated. The very nice lady explained the quick process and went to work. She explained all she was doing as she did it and then showed me on the computer the up to the minute price I would be paid. Shocked… I told her that was awesome!
She hit print and a check popped out! In and out in 15 minutes with double what I expected… Would I do it again? Absolutely! Great experience! Nice job ladies!

Don’t let the campy commercials fool you. This business is highly professional, and keeps you with your jewelry during the entire process.
They explain each step, and provided a great value for my unused stuff.
Plus — its not a jeweler store so there is no sales pressure, with nothing to sell it trade.
They are buyers 100%.

I thought I would try them out another buyer to sell some gold and silver. I guess I expected too much from the TV advertisements of a «different experience.» So ended up go back to the Gold Gals and got a fair price and felt that each item was examined in detail, explained the entire process. If you want a place that will treat you fairly and who will examine each item, go to the Gold Gals!

I have been seeing a lot of Gold Gals commercials lately. So when I needed to sell some of my gold jewelry, I thought I would give them a try. Joey greeted me at the door and got started right away. I was very pleased with the price they gave me for a necklace that a pawn shop tried to tell me wasn’t real gold. They also educated me on another piece that was worth more than i thought. Their honesty was quite refreshing. Then they went the extra mile and donated to a fundraiser I was promoting too. Thanks Joey and Shan! I am one happy customer. I highly recommend.

When I walked into the store, I was immediately greeted by their thoughtful staff. They were attentive and explained the patiently process to me seeing as I was completely new to the selling jewelry world. Joey serviced me and was extremely polite and knowledgable.
