Wow what a dissapointment, I was informed after shopping that I was unable to check out using cash. The guy said that it’s been 2 weeks now that they have been trying to get someone out to fix it. Electronic cashiers = no human cashiers = more problems = no business from me, what an inconvenience! :(

I hate going to any home improvement store. However we had a good experience here while buying a new washer and dryer. The clerk was very nice and wanted to make sure we got the best deal possible. He also remembered us when we came to pick up the washer later that day. He asked us how our move was coming along. It is always nice when employees try to be personable.

I am happy to say that the store manager, Josh, did refund our money. It took me actually going to the store to track him down because apparently my messages were not getting to him. At least it was taken care of and I feel better by increasing their rating from a 1 star to a 3 star. We will see if it continues to improve.

Worst home Depot ever to exist! After making my purchases and walking towards my car. I was stopped by a loss prevention employee in the parking lot. Supposedly he was the leader of the Lost prevention team. He didn’t have a name badge security outfit or anything he look like a regular civilian so i almost shot him with my concealed handgun because I thought he was going to try to mug me or something? He was just yelling at me to stop and then accused me of stealing? I think I was stereotyped. But oh well! they lost my business for life. I had my receipts for everything! They just had to let me go. If I could give this place half a star or like 0 stars that’s what I would give it. horrible customer service.

UPDATE: They disabled my ability to comment on their page after I wrote a fb review on their page and they still haven’t addressed our issue. I maintain they have terrible customer service. END OF UPDATE. Buyer Beware of deceptive trade practices! We recently had one of the worst customer service experiences we’ve ever encountered. Last Saturday we had a microwave installed (after purchasing it in-​store the previous Tuesday). This is an above the stove range microwave that was SUPPOSED to vent to the outside of our home (it replaced a range hood that vented outside) but thanks to sloppy customer service it circulates right back into the our small kitchen heating it up quickly. When buying we were NEVER warned that prior to installation we should check our vent to find out if it was rectangular to match the microwave vent. It is not. Had the salesman warned us, we could’ve bought the adaptor between Tuesday and Saturday and had it installed prior to the microwave installation. Instead we found out when GE’s installation team showed up. So they installed it incorrectly so they could say they did their job. When we called Home Depot to complain about not being warned of this, Nick, a manager told us he’d see what he could do. Then we were passed off to Rick, the appliance manager who assured us he’d rectify the situation and Home Depot would cover the cost of uninstalling the microwave, installing the adapter, and reinstalling the microwave because he admitted his team messed up by not fully informing us. Well it’s 5 days later and we haven’t heard from Rick in 2 days. It’s sad to know they willingly jerk around customers who would’ve happily paid a lot more money to their closest Home Depot. We are upgrading our home room by room and planned to use Home Depot to do that. After this experience we will be using Lowes and reporting Home Depot to the better business bureau if they even care about such ratings.

Customer Service representatives are the most infuriating and Rude people to deal with. Unfriendly and unprofessional. Huge hassle to get a simple issue resolved. Went to another store and was taken care of quickly and easily. Don’t Waste your time if you need to help from anyone of their staff.

This by far the best one in Austin. They actually still know what customer service is. Seems like most other big box stores just put a store there and expect you to walk jn and buy stuff because of the millions they have spent on advertising over the years. All I can say is I will always go to this home depot and the management should be praised because I live 20 miles and 4 home depots are on my way to this one.

Not my favorite home depot. But I’m still a Home Depot over Lowe’s guy for now. I’ll just be sticking to my South side HD.

This is my nearest Home Depot location so I visit to buy all kinds of things. Staff are always helpful and do a good job of helping me know what I need to buy for a particular project especially since most of the time I don’t know what I am doing! Checkout is almost always an easy process and I like that it is easy for me to get in and out of the store.

These guys absolutely rule. They have helped me immensely with every one of my projects. Tim, Stephen, Jon, Larry, Juan, Spencer and many others are extremely knowledgeable and creative when it comes to solving my problems. I could not pull off the projects I start without the back of this staff at Home Depot. They are better than awesome.

Miao was very unhelpful and was not helping with my return and made my visit very unpleasant. I’ve never seen so much unorganized incompetence in my life. Nobody had proper authority to help me only the manager. I waited two hours for anything to be started or handled on my return by the manager. I had little help with unloading my purchase for return. The manager Miao was to busy trying to fix the lawn mower, that she didn’t meet my needs of a simple return. I finally got her to assist me after she had given me attitude and even accuse me of lying about the tractor being used. She was also giving the workers a hard time when they just follow orders. And bill was being so helpful while she wanted to put the blame on this poor old man who was hard of hearing. Everyone else in line was very upset because they could only be assisted by the only manager on staff there were so many other associates that couldn’t do anything but stand there and smile. I’m very dissatisfied I couldn’t speak to anyone of higher authority and will NOT be shopping at Home Depot any time soon in the future.

I had an interview here today. I walked out after waiting 20 minutes past my interview time. (I Left at 10:50, My interview was scheduled at 10:30) During that time, I was hit on by a hiring manager, then witnessed him hit on another woman. Then another Hiring manager asked an employee why she wasn’t married yet, he then went on to say he could fix that for her. After, one; the wait, and two; the harassment, the third strike was watching a lady come in, with out an appointment, be told that that was clearly against the rules, then be told that they could wing it for her, and had her in the interview room in less than 5 five minutes. My time and my self respect is worth more than that.

This Home Depot store has been great! I recently had an online order I picked up here and everything went smoothly. When I stopped in my order was at the front counter and there was a spot clearly marked at the counter that said, «online order pick up.» It was easy to figure out.
The staff that helped me out was super nice. I was picking up a oil-​less fryer, which was pretty big and heavy. I had plenty of assistance and offers to help me out, which I appreciated.
I will definitely be come back to this store! Great customer service and I like when things are easy and convenient for me!

I can never get any help within a reasonable amount of time on the sales floor. I wish there were still local lumber yards around!

Ok, we all know some home depots are better than other home depots. This is one that is definitely better. They have fun classes, even though most of the good times I always find in Spanish.
Some stores are really hard to find and also find the tools in the shop, but this store can be a little easier at time.
Something I find a little sad is their discount paints are always low. This is no fault to their own, but maybe people are just better at mixing their paints here.
I have gotten several discounts from this store and rented many things. The rental center is kinda weird here, they seem infiniatly uncaring of your situation and kinda know it alls. Other than that, you should have fun here.

They didn’t have the tool I needed… yet Walmart had it… that’s not good

This place is good enough for most people. They have a huge selection and you will almost always find what you need.
Don’t expect everyone to be as knowledgeable and attentive as Callahan’s, but you’re talking 2 completely different worlds here.
They offer a 10% military/​Veteran discount too, so it’s nice to see them giving back.

This is «my The Home Depot» because I live close to it. Whatever I needed, whatever I asked, I got a friendly and informative answer. I always will go back.

Yes I’m really reviewing Home Depot! This is the store I visit most often and that’s just because it’s the closest one to my work. I really love going to any Home Depot because I love the smell of the store. It’s a mix of wood, plastic, fertilizer, paint, and I don’t know what else but I love it. I like this store a lot because I have always had really good service there. Even when I am not needing help with anything, there is always an employee approaching me to offer assistance. Most recently I went to get a few keys made and I was helped out by Jake. He was quick at his work and very friendly. Always a good experience at this location!

Every time i go in I have an either very bad, or very good experience. However the bad seem to out weigh the good. Today for example, I walked the drywall area looking for assistance for 10 minutes and found none. I then went up front and asked a cashier to page someone for drywall assistance. I walked back to the drywall and waited for 15 minutes, and finally walked out.
I guess this wouldn’t have been so bad, but the entire reason i was there again today was because the stuff they sold me earlier to tape and bed was actually the wrong type of compound. So i wasted money, and in turn wasted 3 hours tape and bedding something wondering why it wouldn’t hold. Ultimately, my entire Saturday is gone because of uninformed employees, and poor customer service. Today, you earned your 1 star.
