The Pink Tulip is WONDERFUL! My wedding planner, Caplan Miller Events, first introduced me to Lauren Rogers at The Pink Tulip. She was responsive, easy to work with and walked me through every single step. It can be overwhelming to see all of the options and narrow them down — but Lauren is SO good at what she does and really picked up on the style, look and feel I was going for, so really helped steer my decisions. I’ve since used her for my Christmas Cards and other personal invitations and am always beyond impressed with her work!

Had called several invitation designers in Austin since my wedding is so soon. Most said they couldn’t work with me… my turnaround time simply wasn’t enough. Lauren was different. She offered to sit with me to find a preferred style and get it printed immediately. I cannot say enough good things about the time, effort and energy Lauren spent choosing my preferred font, which should have been letter pressed but was out of my budget. Oh, the hoops she jumped through to help me! I’m certain who I’ll be calling in the future for invitations!

Lauren Rogers is amazing! She worked within my budget and was very professional. I started the process a bit frustrated with the last vendor I tried(Inviting Affairs) and was pleasantly surprised with my experience here. I didn’t want to spend a fortune on invitations because I know people just throw them away… and it made me a little mad to pay a lot of money just for… paper & ink, I mean come on. Anyways — I feel differently now about invitations and am so glad I got letterpress from this shop. I wanted simple-elegant and the result is better than I expected. Lauren responds quickly to emails and is attentive to her customers. I didn’t want to keep driving back and forth so we exchanged roughly 40 emails over the last 2 months. It was so nice to be able to communicate seamlessly with Lauren. I knew absolutely NOTHING about invitations, stationary etc and she was very patient with me throughout the process. She was also conscious of my budget and didn’t mind that I didn’t want to splurge on invitations(I splurged on my dress!). I got 150 letterpress invitations, reply postcards, enclosure cards, & envelopes with the return address all within my budget and they are absolutely stunning. If I ever need stationary again– I will go back to her. The shop is adorable too, looks like its out of a magazine.(I would recommend making an appointment though just so they can focus on you — which they always did when I was there!) Also after everything was done my calligrapher wanted more envelopes for error and Lauren was very helpful in getting a rush order/price ready. I ended up not needed them after all but it just shows that even after ‘the big sale’ is over she still was helpful and cared about my needs. Note — another reviewer said it took a long time to get the invitations I will just tell you as a rule for any bride-to-be — dresses & invitations both take a LONG time to get. It’s not because of the store, it’s just the way it is. They have to produce & ship so keep that in mind. 5 – 7 days to get proofs & it took 4 weeks to get my invitations from the time we actually placed the order to arrival. Just plan ahead!

I got married in Austin in May and used Lauren Rogers and the Pink Tulip for my wedding invitations and printed items. Lauren and team were amazing to work with from start to finish. I had a vision for my destination wedding but I needed someone to help me make my ideas a reality and Lauren really helped me do that. To kick everything off, Lauren helped me create amazing save the dates — a set of Texas themed boarding passes. For the main invitations, she helped me bring together my wedding colors in a contemporary yet traditional way with really unique acrylic invitations. I received so many compliments on the creativity and uniqueness on the combination of both these. Lauren had a great attention to detail as she helped me bring together these themes into all the other elements of the wedding– welcome bags, seating assignment cards, programs, etc. Aside from just the invitations, Lauren went out of her way to be a resource for my wedding planning in general. She had great recommendations about Austin and other vendors. Lauren is kind, personable and was always there for me and my mom, willing to assist in anyway possible. I would highly recommend Lauren and the Pink Tulip!

I have to say, finding somewhere in Austin to design wedding invitations was not easy, especially when I knew exactly what I wanted. The Pink Tulip was the only invitation place I could find that had access to order the silk boxes, which Lauren did for us. We met with her to pick out save the dates, which took about 4 weeks to come in, which was fine, but we picked a design straight from a book, so I felt like it should have been quick. Next we set up a time to design invitations. Lauren showed up to our appointment an hour late. The assistant was doing her best to help us in the mean time also calling Lauren who didn’t answer the phone. We had another appointment later that afternoon so we didn’t have much time to wait around for her and that was my only day off that week that we could meet with her. I felt like she didn’t value my time. Like i said, i wanted silk box invitations with a little silk pillow wrapped with a ribbon and brooch. She tried to charge me $ 200 for 25 little brooches, which I then found on a website called Lucy’s Buckels for $.79 each. What a scam! After designing the invitations, which was basically a replica from a previous invitation she made, it took 6 weeks to come in. The assistant met with me to show me how to put them together. Yes, after paying almost $ 1,500 for save the dates and invitations(for 100 people) I still had to assemble them. During my two meetings with her we spoke about name cards, table cards and thank you cards. After the invitations I never heard from her. No follow up to see how I liked the final result, since she wast there when i picked them up, no question about wanting more off my business with the table cards and thank you cards. I could have made better invitations myself at home for 1⁄3 of the cost. Do yourself a favor and make you own invitations or choose one of the other 2 places in Austin to make invitations for you. This lady doesn’t know how to value a customers time or business.

LOVELOVELOVE the Pink Tulip. Both Adrienne and Lauren have been fun to work with and have lots of creative ideas. I ordered my son’s Bar Mitzvah invitations with them. Our event was a destination Bar Mitzvah in Austin, so Adrienne was wonderful in putting together the invite, party card, hotel accommodations card, transportation card, and so much more. It all seemed rather daunting before I sat down with Adrienne because I needed so much, but she really made it easy and fun. And best of all — the invites look wonderful.

Lauren at Pink Tulip is wonderful. Super creative and easy to work with. You will love what she can do for you. Lauren create a beautiful and sophisticated invitation for us and offered many great suggestions and helped us creatively put everything together. She also did a next day event invitation — more fun — and it came out awesome. I will definately be using Lauren again. –Kari Trecker Pena
