The UPS Store

I popped in to drop off an Amazon return with a rerun label– simple enough. The gal told me if I want her to tape the box it would be $ 1.50 or I could buy a $ 4 role of tape and do it myself. No & no– I was so dumbfounded I just took my package and left. I’ll never be back to this location!

At the risk of experiencing retaliation by submitting this review I cautiously move forward with this simple (yet wordy) review.
The store is neat, clean, and very easy to get to for me. The store hours are very convenient for me as well with the added benefit of being a place to bank until deposits are made available via phone by my bank.
I have worked in the «service» industry for decades and have had many a day where a smile was tough to conjure but always managed. I found that it even made the day move faster and actually get a little better. With that said, the young woman that helped me today seemed almost «bothered» by me being there. Almost like I had interrupted her current project and had somehow ruined her day so early in the morning.
I’m sorry if I did indeed ruin her day and hope that her day gets better. There will be more transactions there over the next few months so I hope that they are better than today. I want to be clear that I understand that we al have bad days I just hope it gets better for her and her ability to at least smile at guests.

Waited 25 minutes to buy an envelope and drop off a shipment. The employee seemed to be talking to his manager on the phone about something and had a total disregard for all the customers waiting.

I am sure that this officially franchised store is competent enough in terms of mailing a package, but the female counter agent knew nothing of the concept of service. Mailing a package isn’t rocket science I understand, but a little courtesy goes a long way in the service business. I’ll choose to go elsewhere next time.

I have no proof but five hours after buying tape on a Credit Card I never use I receive a call from my credit card company saying there was a fraudulent charge to that account.
My experience did mirrors other reviewers in that they are most unfriendly. Go somewhere else for your logistical needs.

Apparently, if you can see your box you’re allowed to go get it and cut in front of three other people in the store. With the clerks help of course.

Quite possibly the gateway to hell. They lost my package, and will not return calls or emails.

terrible service. I went in with three boxes of textbooks to ship. When I saw the order, before I paid, I noticed a 30 $ extra charge on the boxes. I asked Leslie, what is this charge? she said, «oh i can’t tell you. it’s on the computer but i can’t see what it is». seriously?! i asked this a few times (i had to ship three of these boxes) and each time i got the same response.
Later after i had paid and left (i should have just dragged the three boxes of textbooks back to my car and gone to the post office, or possibly any other UPS location, lesson learned) we called and found out that the $ 30 fee was an insurance charge and if i had just lowered the value of the box the fee could have been dropped. why she could not tell me that before I paid will remain a mystery.
TLDR: i paid an extra $ 100 (like an additional 70%) because Leslie. do not go here.

Does not have an after hours drop box. They’re limiting logistics to 8:30am to 6pm. The post office and FedEx both have drop boxes nearby, so it’ll be more convenient to use them instead.

Do not use this store. I dropped off an AT&T router that AT&T takes care of the cost. When I took it in the woman behind the counter told me their computers were down and to call in a few days for a receipt. Against my better judgement I left the router. Sure enough when I called they couldn’t find the router or proof that it was received or sent out at all. I called AT&T and they were completely understanding and waived the charge for the router, which leads me to believe that it wasn’t the first time that store has lost a router. You’ve been warned!

Never again. 7.48 to fax 7 pieces of paper. And it took nearly an hour. Employee was bouncing around like a rubber ball. Ease up on the caffeine.

This UPS store location lost my package last month. The package tracking # never even showed the item leaving the store.

I couldn’t get the package, the tape, the scissors, and my printed prepaid return label (or a working printer) together in one place. I COULDN’T DO IT. For a month, some of these items would come together, then separate, never enough to actually GET RID OF my stupid Amazon return package. It was horrible, I felt like less of a man.
I managed to get the package and the return labels into my car, and took them here. Yes, it amounted to paying someone who had scissors and tape to use them for me. to cut the postage I’d already paid for out of a printout, tape it to a box, tape shut the box, and place the box on a pile. Tape, scissors, that’s what I paid for — straight-​up kindergarten.
$ 1.50 for nine seconds of scissors and tape was fine. I’d have paid $ 5 just to stop failing at mailing a box. I wish they were open earlier, though. Mailing stuff is before-​work business. If I can do things on the way to work, it doesn’t escalate to vengeance-​is-​mine levels like this.

What a horrible, horrible store. There was a young woman here who was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. She treated me like I was stupid and unimportant. I wouldn’t recommend going to this location, if you can help it.
