Liza is a brilliant stylist! I’ve been seeing her for several years for cut and all over color and she always takes time to fully understand what I want, provide feedback and validate that what I’m asking for is something that will be a good look for me. She’s very knowledgeable and excellent with color. I always feel like a star when I leave!!!

Liza Abeel has been cutting my hair for many years now and I have followed her to a number of salons — she is always willing to listen and work with me to be sure I get the cut I want. I always look forward to a refresh when I see her! She knows I am super low maintenance and don’t get my hair cut and styled often and she never complains at the grown out mess I bring her and works hard to give me a cut that will last between appointments! I really like the Saverio salon — everyone was friendly and the space is full of light and energy.

Liza is a fantastic stylist! She always takes time to listen to exactly what color and cut I am looking for (I change my mind a lot) and has never let me down. I have been going to Liza for a couple years and she never disappoints! I look forward to every appointment. I highly recommend Liza for cut and color. Great salon too… bright, open and airy.

Smokey is amazing and you should definitely have him cut your hair. I’ve been going to him for years, and never had a cut I didn’t love. He’s one of the few stylists who’ve listened to me when I say I really don’t style my hair that often, and always gives me a haircut that looks good straight out of the shower or properly styled. Plus I actually look like a professional and feel super sassy. It’s awesome.
The salon itself is really nice too – fancy and cute without being over the top, seemed to be full of sweet people. Call them up, make an appointment with Smokey, feel like a rockstar.

A great haircut as always from Liza Abeel. Nobody cuts my hair but her, and she’s cut it for about 5 years now. It’s a great salon too! Liza really is the very best!

All I can say is ASHLEY IS THE BEST STYLIST IVE EVER MET! I first had my hair done by her at another salon she worked at, and it ended my 3 year long search for a hair stylist! If you need a stylist, you don’t have to think twice. Ashley will do a 100% fantastic job!!! I ADORE HER!

I love love love Melanie Manuel and cannot recommend her highly enough. I’ve been going to see her for the past 5 years and followed her to Thomas Saverio from her previous salon because she’s just that amazing. I get so many compliments on my highlights and have sent many of my friends to her. She really takes time to connect with her clients and understand what they’re looking for. So basically you should go see her immediately, that’s all!

I’m a natural Blonde but it has never suited my skin tone or personality. I experimented with black, brown, ash, and platinum before finally settling on red. I came to Mercedes with the red hair but she decided it was too much and developed an auburn color that suits me so perfectly that no one ever believes that it isn’t my natural color. She’s amazing! She’s also finally figured out my hair… and the cut is perfect. I just plop down in her chair and let her do what she thinks is best and I’m always delighted.

Mercedes seriously knows her hair! She cut and colors it perfectly! Janelle is awesome at waxing, she does a fantastic job every time!

Melanie has cut my hair for the past three years. I love that she takes her time and is detailed. It’s hard to find the right person to cut my hair right, but Melanie has always gotten it right. She used to do my lashes too, but I’m not sure if she’ll offer that service again soon. She did an awesome job with my lashes too. I always got complements!

I came in on a recommendation from a friend. She told me that Brittany could spruce up my shabby hair. Boy was she right.
My hair is half black, half white, and all a mess. I had several bands of different shades of «blonde» in my hair and my black side had faded to a muddy brown. Basically hair was the definition of ratchet. Thank little baby Jesus for Brittany because she fixed my hair. All 8 shades of it. She took my brassy blonde to a solid white and my black has never looked better. And best yet — no bleeding of the colors. My hair has never looked better. I love that she is a true color artist and new exactly what to do to fix my hair without damaging it any more. I love her and will be back for sure.

Brittany Bell is amazing. Hands down the best hairdresser I’ve found in Austin. I like to have red hair. But not too red, and not that purple-​y red, but not orange, and not too fake-​y looking… You see where I’m going with this? It’s apparently next to impossible to get the right red. Well, not for Mrs Brittany, she knocks it out of the park with my color every time. Our first appt, I brought a picture, and she matched it PERFECTLY! Thank you, Brittany!
Her cut is equally amazing. Usually I have to change a couple of things when I get home, not with her. The cut lasts a while and grows out great! After 8 yrs in Austin, I can finally stop looking for a stylist.

LOVE this place! Laura does the most incredible color and cut! If you have curly hair she is the stylist for you. She doesn’t try to talk you into a bunch of product you don’t need either! Not one of your stuck up, stuffy salons but they sell high end products that are great for your hair. If you’ve been looking for the perfect color and cut Laura is without your girl!

Janell Gonzalez is AMAZING! First of all, let me say I have very difficult hair. My hair has really puzzled many hair stylist in my past, because it’s extremely thick and coarse. Often times I felt like a freak show with the stylist working on my hair calling over other stylists to examine my hair. Yup, it was brutal! Not only was getting my hair done an anxiety producing experience, my hair also didn’t look good! I basically paid money to be made a spectacle of and not get a good hair cut/​style.
Luckily for me about 5 years ago, I discovered Janell Gonzalez. She looked at my hair and didn’t bat a beautiful eye lash. She had a «bring it on!» attitude. Not only is she a lovely person and a joy to be around, but the way she makes my hair look is amazing! My hair has never looked like this before! So now I LOVE getting my hair done and it looks wonderful! Thank you Janell for all you’ve done for me and my hair. Not sure why I took so long to share my experience with you on Unilocal!Thank you! I wanted to wait to make sure my second hair cut was as good as the first and if anything it was even better! Ever since I moved to Austin I felt like no one was cutting my hair as well as in New York even though I was paying the same amount of money which was super frustrating. At my first appointment, Ruben took the time to talk to me about what I was unhappy with and what I really wanted. Both times he gave me really perfect haircuts that grew out well and are easy to style.
The salon: very clean, very beautiful, and easy parking. The staff always offers a beverage and the waiting chairs are comfy if you are there early.
I definitely recommend Ruben for anyone who wants gorgeous hair.
