Cute atmosphere and very nice staff. Had the garlic knots, calamari, and figs along with some prosecco during happy hour. The food was nothing to rave about and for this reason I wouldn’t put this at the top of my list. Not a bad option if you want to try something new and take advantage of happy hour.

Food is always good. Pizza, garlic knots, pasta and lets not forget the figs! Happy hour is a great value — sometimes it is crowded and loud, but that is a good thing — need to keep nice places in business. Love the outdoor area too… great for catching up with a girlfriend and having some wine flights!

The taste is good, but it is a little overpriced to me.

Shared a lunch with my wife at this site and truly enjoyed the meal. My wife ordered the Ziti and I the Chicken Scarpiello. Both plates were well seasoned and I appreciated the spicy taste of mine as it contained a compliment of banana peppers mixed in. Nice location to share an excellent lunch.

This is not our first time here, we love the Pizzas and the atmosphere, but on Tuesday they have a special on the pizza wich is great, buy 1 get 1 free, the only problem is that this is the 2nd time we almost wait an hour for a pizza while dining in, because the promotion is also to-go, and I don’t think it’s fair to wait while others just pick their pizzas up, so my suggestion is that they make that promotion only dine in. But once again the pizza here is great, I hope that next time has less wait time…

This place is delicious. The atmosphere is great. I would not recommend the garlic knots(just not that good) or stuffed mushrooms(topped with figs– the sweet really throws it off) but other than that the food has been really good. It’s not cheap but it’s also not too expensive either. 2 adults and a kid, we typically spend 40 – 50 here on average(pre-tip).

Waiter was really nice, but since it wasn’t busy he sort of hung out at our table wanting to chat after he brought our food. My food was getting cold, and it was really awkward. Pizza was okay but not great. The crust is tough and chewy. The toppings are unique, which was nice. My son loved his Alfredo dish. The prices seemed a little bit high for what it was. Not sure I would eat here again. It was just okay.

It’s 4:15am when I’m writing this and I’m pissed. I’ve enjoyed Tony C’s food several times. In fact, I ate there last night for a special occasion. Up until 2 hours ago, I would give them four stars. No. Never will they get four stars after tonight. Tony C’s is located in a strip mall that has homes along the back and one side. Our home is directly behind Tony C’s; probably 600 feet away. Once again, they are power washing something. This has got to be the fourth time in the last year and a half that I’ve lived here and, once again, I am not getting any sleep because they are power washing after midnight and their generator is so loud, it’s keeping me awake. Tony C’s is not a good steward to the surrounding neighbor’s. There has to be a better time of day or another way to clean whatever it is your cleaning at four F’in a. m!

Absolutely love the Mama Mia Pizza. The goat cheese one with prosciutto was good, mainly because of the crispy prosciutto. The margarita is pretty good. I can’t really speak for the rest of the food because I won’t get anything now that I found the Mama Mia.

I was quite impressed with Tony C’s. We started off with calamari and my favorite, sausage and peppers. The calamari was lightly fried in a golden mix of ingredients, but the marinara and the aioli were perfect for dipping each piece. Now, the sausage and peppers came out on a fancy rectangular plate positioned as if the«presentation» meant more than the taste. Hell No! This dish was great as the sausage had a nice crisp to the bite followed by sweet and spicy flavors. It had pan fried peppers with a good heaping of some of the best marinara sauce in Austin. The pizza tasted great with a nice dough consistency and fresh ingredients to round off the taste of an Italian brick oven pie. Tony C’s is worth a return visit.

We had a party of 3 and ordered garlic knots as our appetizer, they were very delicious and priced fairly for the amount received. Tony C’s did impress me with the Chicken Parmesan. I get this dish at every Italian restaurant I encounter. Also, the bill didn’t shock me. Everything was priced very well. For an appetizer, three dinner entrees, and two small Margherita pizzas it was under $ 80 for quality Italian food.

SERVICEANDTHESERVER’S ATTITUDENEEDSTOBEWORKEDON… Just got back from eating lunch there. The server, my ticket says«AM», so I guess that’s her name, never came back to take our order after several minutes waiting. The manager, unknown name(heavy set, mid 30’s with a beard) took our order. I had the chicken parm sandwhich and my wife had the spinach goat cheese salad. The sandwhich was ok. Needed more marinara sauce and a bigger hand full of fries would have been nice for the $ 10.99 cost. The salad on the other hand was good. But would have been nice to get a garlic knot on the side like ALL the other salads do. The reason for the 2 stars is the service. The timeliness of getting the food after ordering was the only good thing. Had to ask repeatedly for refills of water. The servers attitude was the worse. It was like we wre bothering her to do her job. She also had no personality, never once asked how everything was(manager never did either) and basically made no attempt to increase her chances of getting a good tip. A tip is not automatic or always the typical 18−20%. It’s based on the performance, freindliness and attitude of the server. Hell, fake it if you have to. Just make an effort. Will definetly have to really think about spending $$ there again.

The pizza is delicious! The manager is awful. Not friendly, or accommodating. I called with a question I felt like I was getting attitude, from both hostess and manager. Customer service sucks from higher up! I asked to reserve a table for birthday party and was told the place would be packed so I couldn’t reserve … Um no one was effn there ! Our party had an awesome waiter! We tipped him well he deserved 100% tip he should be the manager !

This place is fantastic. Came in for lunch one day. Garlic knots were dope and I was shocked by how large the $ 9 lunch portion of Chicken Parm was huge. I tried to only eat half but it was so good I finished the whole thing. Will definitely be returning soon with my wife in tow.

My husband and I don’t always relax in the same way. We both appreciate quality time and quality food, but my idea of a perfect evening is dressing up and going out. His is a bit more along the vein of Netflix and pizza. Good news, Tony C’s covers both! Tony C’s provides quality coal fired pizza that my husband loves. It also provides two for one pizza night, and that isn’t just for dining in, folks. You can get two pizzas to go for the price of one! Tony C’s is also a very nice place to dine in. The ambiance is right for date night. The lights are dim, the art is tasteful, the wine is great. I love getting the wine flight. The pizza is super quality. Our favorite is Fig & Honey(Figs | Mascarpone | Prosciutto | Lavender Honey). While I prefer dining in, we do usually order our pizza to go(to save money, we pick accompanying wine up from HEB) and they have always been very courteous and accommodating about this. I feel like most nice restaurants won’t give you the discount if it’s to go, so I thought that was worth mentioning.

The lasagna at this restaurant is crazy good. Very ample portion as well. We had perfectly fried calamari as an appetizer and I was full half way thru my lasagna. The server offered me a take out and I happily accepted. My friend had eggplant parmesan. He said it was delicious, and he, being a huge guy, finished his plate mopping up the sauce with the fabulous garlic knots. Yum! I’ll be back. I’ve got to try more items on their extensive menu. Nice ambiance, attentive service, full wine list and great food. There’s a patio too. I’ll wait for cooler weather for that, meanwhile I’ll enjoy the indoors.

I love this pizza! What deliciously pizza. The chicken parm sandwich is also delightful. Anddddddd the garlic knots :) We order from here about once a week. We recently used a Unilocal!promo for free garlic knots with our order. When we called it in the hostess said it should say for dining in. When I arrived she politely got the manager to make sure I could use it and he took a look and gave us the promo deal. In other establishments I would have gotten the old«customer was right about a freebie so I’m going to snub her/walk away/be curt» type of thing but I was pleasantly surprised that he stuck around and chatted asking me how my night was going. We had a few friendly laughs while the hostess ran my credit card. Hostess — also very friendly and conversational. I like it here — definitely a great place for take out in the Avery Ranch area. Tuesday’s are buy one get one!

First world problem: when you’re trying to watch carbs but Tony C’s offers buy one get one free pizzas every Tuesday… and Tuesday comes every week. Aaayyyyy. Get the meatball pizza. Pass on the goat cheese/proscuitto. Check-in on Unilocal for free garlic knots. Makes Tuesdays just a little bit happier!

Overpriced, but, it is Avery Ranch. My first experience here was a while back. I ordered a salmon salad which I enjoyed. We decided to come in for supper since we had a 20% off coupon. I must say that I am puzzled by all the raving reviews. Maybe we caught them on a bad night? The place wasn’t that busy with only four tables having customers. The bar had the most seating. We were seated in a back corner and got the worst waitress in the house. It was happy hour so I ordered a Merlot for $ 8 a glass and we got the stuffed mushrooms for $ 6. For our main course sidekick got a house salad and Fettuccine Alfredo($ 12) add shrimp($ 6+) plus he asked for mushrooms($ 1.50), artichoke hearts($ 1.50) and diced tomatoes(I’ll touch back on these. Keep reading). I ordered the Chicken Scarpiello($ 15). After some time our waitress comes back to the table to tell sidekick that the kitchen said«We can’t do diced tomatoes. We only have sliced.». Yes, you read that correctly. I was shocked. I was thinking«Hell, bring them to me, I’ll dice ‘em!». The manager comes by and sidekick brings this to his attention. He nods in agreement with what the waitress told us and has an attitude like we were bothering him. Then sidekick asks«Don’t you have a kitchen back there?». Mr jerk manager goes«Look, you want diced tomatoes I’ll get you diced tomatoes.». [ It needs to be pointed out that entrees had already been served by this time]. Sidekick was like«no, I shouldn’t have to ask twice for them.». Jerk(I’m annoyed by you attitude) manager looks at me and says«Well, well.». And walks off! WTF! The house salad was really good and actually had more than just arugula in it. It had cucumbers, garbanzo beans, onions, peppers and tomatoes. Good stuff. Actually pretty impressive for a house salad. The stuffed mushrooms were good except for the tomato marmalade topping. Way too sweet. I had to scrape that off to enjoy the sausage meatball stuffing. My dish was a disappointment. It was a chicken breast with sausage, sweet peppers, cherry tomatoes and spaghetti in a tomato sauce. The chicken was dry and tough, the noodles were over cooked, the sauce was too sweet, and, the Italian sausage was a bit much. The flavors didn’t go well at all. Actually made me think I was at a low end Italian place. Did not like the dish at all AND I found a ziti noodle buried in the spaghetti! WTF? Cross contamination going on in that kitchen? Another let down was our waitress never offered up any fresh pepper or Parmesan. In fact, we didn’t see her for quite a long while after she delivered the food. As for sidekicks $ 21 dish, he liked it for the most part. He was obviously disappointed that he couldn’t get diced tomatoes in a restaurant. He said that would have made his dish better. But But But But But!!! You ain’t gonna believe this shit. He found a fucking ziti noodle buried in his fettuccine! I shit you not!!! Look at my pics! IMO these guys are no better than Johnny Carino’s or Olive Garden. This was the worst $ 75 we have ever spent on a night out. Still kicking myself. Won’t return. FTDS!
