I love this place. I am a Starbucks regular and sure they are fine. But local coffee joints are much more fun when available. Friendly, clean and always spot on with their coffee. Particularly there is a young man Steven that is super kind and interacts with patron in such a positive manner without fail. Nice work!

Love this local coffee shop, everyone who works there is very friendly and great to talk to. They helped me pick out some coffee beans and they know their stuff! Emile and Steven are very helpful and nice. Highly recommend this coffee shop

I stumbled upon this little gem on my 30 minute lunch break. I ordered a latte with coconut milk. The service was quick and everyone was very polite. The barista asked me to try my drink before leaving to make sure he got it just right. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone who loves coffee :)

I love this place. They offer Taco Deli tacos for breakfast. The service is always on point and welcoming. They have a conference room you can reserve without paying. It’s usually a mix of people working quietly and people chatting, so it’s not totally quiet but it’s not too loud.

This place has excellent coffee! They also have a huge selection of fresh coffee beans to choose from. The staff is awesome — they have a great sense of humor, very friendly and knowledgeable. The prices aren’t terrible either. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!

Awesome coffee chop. Great environment, I love to go here and just read a book for hours. The employees are extremely nice. I brought my broken french press there once and the people talked me through using it and fixing it. They also know a TON about coffee and are very engaging in talking to you about it. Just wish they were open even later, but when they ARE open, they’re wonderful.

Overall a nice local coffee shop that’s clearly got history. Pros: * Feels like you’re *somewhere* … this isn’t a stand-up faux style coffee place that could be built anywhere using a helicopter and some glue. Someone cares about this place and it definitely belongs here. * So far good coffee, their London Fog was excellent. * If you want to get work done, there are plenty of places to plug in and Internet is faster and more reliable than other places in the area(this includes Starbucks). Cons: * On more than one occasion, the Wifi was really poor and asking the employees to restart the router didn’t help. I generally go to coffee shops like this to get some work done so I need good Wifi. * Make sure you check the hours. I’ve been caught off guard by this many times. * Standard iced tea so far has just been okay. They really need to come correct on this during the middle of the summer. Other notes(neither good nor bad): * Some of the staff are talkers and very engaging. * Coffee used is(claimed to be) roasted here in Austin for those of you that want to champion the home team. * Some food options if you get hungry.

Quick! I’m on lunch, and Plentiful Earth needs maintenance! I need a nice coffee shop that doesn’t leave my clothes, my boots, and my breath smelling like burnt coffee. Enter Trianon! This is a nice, locally owned coffee shop with a great cozy, slightly alternative feel, in terms of music choice and staff! I’d like to take a moment to say that I don’t drink coffee for caffeine; I drink it for flavor. So, when I ordered a French press coffee, I was surprised and delighted when he asked what type of coffee I wanted from what country! He even took me over to a wall of coffee and let me smell the choices that he thought I would enjoy! I went with the Brazilian. It’s delicious. Plentiful Earth just found a new home base!

Being the coffee lover that I am when I saw this coffee shop on Unilocal I had to come… That being said here are my thoughts PROS: a lot of seating options, serve taco deli breakfast tacos, an abundance of parking, friendly staff, great location, they offer a free coffee with check-in, WIFI, conference room, CONS: the noise level is very high(more seating=more people=more talking=more noise), the vanilla latte was very bitter(still tastes good but not the best I have had in Austin), it can get very crowded(I had to move a few chairs to get through to wait for my drink), and lastly I got the feeling of not feeling in place. It seems to come across as another trying to be «hipster» coffee shop where they judge you for not being like them. CONCLUSION: give this place a try! I see things I love and don’t like about it but I think it’s worth the try!

Good coffee, yummy latte’s, very nice staff. Nice local coffee shop that isn’t a fly by night kind of place. There’s a nice warmth here with lots of locals. It’s busy every time I get here, but still manage to find a seat most times.

I feel sorry for folks who aren’t close to Trianon and have to get coffee somewhere else. Not only do they have great coffee(both brewed and whole bean), but the people who work there, genuinely love what they do, have fun at work, and work hard to make everyone feel a part of the community in the place. MANY times I’ve seen them address customers by name or start making a drink before it’s even ordered because they KNOW their customers. I see a few less than stellar reviews on here but I have to imagine it was the attitude they brought with them that created any negative experiences rather than the folks at Trianon. Sure I guess if you’re looking for cookie cutter espresso drinks with minimal interaction with the staff maybe someplace else is better for you. For me, I love going there for the interactions with everyone who works there just as much as the great coffee. Oh and Taco Deli breakfast tacos in the mornings don’t hurt either!

Cute little independent coffee house in Westlake, in the shopping center with Froyoyo, Michael’s, and SteinMart. I don’t often drink coffee, so I can’t review that. I do drink tea, and I do like baked goods. My only nit is please don’t serve the tea so freakin’ steaming hot that it takes 10 – 15 minutes to become drinkable. Next time I’ll ask for some cold water on top. Their food and bevvies are good quality, fresh, and they have tacodeli breakfast tacos. I’ve had their scones as well and they are large and tasty, but not cheap. Seems like a good place to work, if you are into that sort of thing. Nice little private meeting space in the back that’s free, but it looks like you had better sign up far in advance for a slot. A free small coffee with your first check-in too. A little piece of keepin’ Austin weird in Westlake, something I’m happy to support.

We go here nearly every morning. We like the neighborhood feel and I like the coffee better than the chain stores. They have almond milk options which is a plus. All the staff is very friendly and they remember our names and orders.

Trianon… not a yoga studio(what the boyfriend thought), not a rehab center(what I thought)…it’s a cute little coffee shop! They’ve got delicious baked goods from Quack’s AND tacos from Tacodeli. Yum! They’ve also got a great selection of teas. The employees were super friendly and helpful. Seating is plentiful, and the armchairs are comfy cozy. Also, If you check in on Unilocal, you get a free coffee with any purchase. Yay!

Every time I come here my experience improves! Stephen & Zach were fun and personable and they had a great vibe that spilled over to their customers. Two people walked in while I was getting a gift certificate, and they already knew what their orders were! The coffee(extra dry machiatto) has always been excellent and smooth. I just came to edit this and say«every time I come here my experience improves»… then I realize I said that last time! :) Thanks Joseph & Zach for the special touches.

We recently moved to the area and this is our new favourite local, it’s just between school and house so perfect for those mornings when the child needs a steamed milk to function. The decent Latte doesn’t do me any harm either, my request for a ‘medium latte with one shot’ is always treated with politeness rather than disdain. On the days when I have to drag the boy out of the bed I can use the phrase ‘You know if we were earlier we could go to Trianon’. Works like a charm, every time. The Baristas are unfailing kind to a small child that asks lots of questions and his ‘one shot, please’ wimp of a mother, which makes them superior beings in my book. The staff are smart, witty and good natured. What’s not to love about a place with good coffee, comfy seats and good people?

Great little Coffee shop! Lots of coffee options… and might I add, the place Smells AmaZing! Lots of seating areas and couch chairs. Love the Couch Lounge Chairs! Hopefully their hours change soon with the upcoming school semester starting soon! Before when I went there, they closed around 5pm… :( Will be back soon!

Great place when the internet is working. Recently Tbird has had some issues with that. Tomato basil and smoked salmon sandwiches are exceptional and the honey nut latte can’t be beat. Atmosphere is good with lots of seating outside. Sometimes hard to get a seat inside. Pet peeve: The music is totally dependent on who is working. The loud rap is not appreciated, this is a coffee shop… music should be kept in the background.

There are plenty of coffee shops in this town and we have another that I can check off my list. What makes this one cool is that they have their own coffee bean shop on the side of the counter to take home. The baristas are friendly and knowledgable and there ample seating. The crowd is a little more on the older side but coffee is coffee. Wifi is wifi. Available seating is available seating. It’s good to know this is here. When I’m in the area. I’ll stop in and contribute to the local coffee scene and grab my Americano.

One of my favorite coffee spots in town. Hidden away in the heart of Westlake, Trianon is usually pretty quiet and a good place to read a book or enjoy a quiet conversation with a pal. The baristas are all wonderful people. They are knowledgeable about the drinks and coffees they offer. They readily will offer you great suggestions that fit your personality instead of referring to the most expensive, boring thing on the menu. I really enjoy the mocha frappes. They have a pretty good flavor and are much richer-tasting than your typical Starbucks fare. It just tastes more real. I’ve been coming here a lot lately– so much so my mom got me a gift card to the place for Christmas. My only real«complaint» is that they close super early. I like enjoying coffee in the evenings and they usually close up shop around 7pm or so most nights. Otherwise, I love this place and wish there were more coffeehouses like it out there.
