Everything was okay. Some of the dishes aren’t worth the money. More importantly, how in the heck is a place like this out of rolls?

This’ll be quick. Their thai tea is a regular tea. The guy said it will taste a little spicy, so I thought it’d be something unique. No, it’s just your regular Thai tea, like the ones I made at my old boba shop. Next: the well-raved corn. It’s siracha with thai sweet chili sauce… which is a good mix, but I was expecting something revolutionary. I’m sorry, maybe when the menu expands to something I feel is really great. I don’t think I have much to rave about. The guy making my food was nice.

I really bubble tea… like to the extent I would drive 30 miles to get a good one! That is why I was ecstatic when I found that this place was only 3.5 miles from me!!! Well, I hate to say that I was so disappointed. Not only did the guy working there was smoking right next to the food truck so I could inhale it,(disgusting) probably didn’t wash his hands, wasn’t that friendly and when I got the tea… it was basically all milk and rather gross! I’ve literally been to some of the best boba/bubble tea places across our nation! I really was sad about this… and apparently after hanging out a while my son was in the bathroom cooling off with water… and he apparently told him to put soap in his hair to wash it! Then we saw him laughing in the truck window… So strange as to why that’d be funny. BTW my son is 6. Won’t be going back to this particular truck! Caution to who you hire.

I’ve upgraded my review because of the offer of a refund and the concern the owner has for the quality of his food. I hope to return and try it again and hopefully give it more stars!

I love Ioveeee bubble tea. The Thai iced tea & Ghiradelli chocolate milk is like crack. The manager is super sweet & gives off the aura of the vibes Austin exhibits. Even if you’re not craving Asian food I recommend stopping by the truck to brighten up your day :) mmmmm

Stay away from the Beef Dynamite and Seafood Rolls. They appear nothing like the picture on the truck. Fried to an inedible mess. These are supposed to be lightly fried sushi rolls with tender, fresh centers, but came to the table overcooked so much so that they were way beyond crunchy. Imagine pulverizing little bitty rice rocks between your molars. We couldn’t even identify what was in the rolls. Neither tasted like beef or seafood. Just crunchy seaweed and rice – yuck. Wish we’d taken a picture. & Should have asked for our $ back.

Great bubble tea! Perfect bubble consistency, and authentic Tai tea. The employee was nice enough to bring my order over to the picnic table that was out of the shade. The prawn chips were pleasantly spicy, but the sauce didn’t taste very much like prawns. Edamame was cooked well, but could use more sea salt.

Not the same old stuff. The owners, Alex and Jed, apparently took an extended tour of Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia to immerse themselves in the local street cuisine before opening up Tiger Lily. They nailed it. If you don’t believe me, try a cup of their Asian Street Corn washed down with a glass of their Thai Bubble Tea.

I absolutely love bubble tea and after trying it at so many places, I’ve become a bit more critical over time. I will say that Austin has it down pretty well. I tried to find it in El Crappo(El Paso) and it was always, well, crap. Tiger Lily executed their boba well, had the right amount of chew and sweetness. Not to mention they had me at –Ghirardelli– mocha bubble tea! I do wish they added more boba. I love getting a mouthful of balls in my mouth on the initial sip. Yes, I said it! The coffee was nice and strong, with plenty of chocolate flavor to last me throughout the week. I loves me some chocolate. I look forward to treating myself here again.

I am from Taiwan. Night market is part of Pan-Asian culture. Finally, I find a semi night market style in Austin. It makes me feel like eating street food in Asia. Chicken wings, prawn chips and corn are super good. Bubble Tea was invented in Taiwan, bubble tea was part of my life before moving to Austin. Tiger Lily only offer a few items for bubble tea section, but the bubble tastes super good.
