Trulie Yours

A friend of mine encouraged me to reach out to Trulie when I mentioned that I needed a sounding board for some design ideas I had before I plunked down money on new furniture and finishes for my home that I might later regret without a professional nod of approval.
Even though she specializes in staging for putting your house on the market, I reached out to her and she said that she loves helping people who plan to stay put in their homes too.
Trulie spent nearly two hours with me, going from room to room as we discussed improved space planning and new textiles/​colors/​furnishings. She immediately understood my style and direction, and had lots of valuable advice and referrals. She was warm and friendly with a great eye and reasonable rates. She was also super-​generous with her time, responding thoughtfully to a follow-​up email I sent once I narrowed down my choices for a new living room sofa.

Trulie came over for a consultation prior to me listing the house for sale. She walked through each room, we talked about the home, my goals for the sale, etc. Trulie brings two elements to the table that create a knockout combination:
1) Trulie looks over every inch of your home as an outsider. She will ask you about things you’ve long since taken for granted. In my case, she asked «what are those loose wires there for?». Good question, Trulie.
2) Trulie has extensive interior design experience in Austin’s real estate market. She has a very good sense for what Austin buyers are looking for. It is that expertise that proved to be invaluable!
Trulie has all sorts of décor goodies in her storage units. Once she goes over your home with you, she makes a list of all the items that are needed to get it into the condition she wants to see it in. Some of those items, you’ll have on-​hand (rearrange your existing items) and in some cases, she lends you those items from her inventory for the duration that the home is listed.
With Trulie’s help, I was able to sell my home very quickly! Don’t hesitate to give her a call.
