Umda is a charming gift shop in the otherwise less-than-appealing Brodie Oaks Shopping Center. (I take that back — Sun Harvest and Beauty Store Salon & Spa are also in this center.)
Umda offers quite a vast array of trinkets, gifts, and home décor. I can’t really pinpoint what it is they specialize in… they have a little of everything. While some of their products are somewhat outdated (fashionably speaking… although…I’M outdated fashionably speaking…), I would encourage anyone to spend a few minutes in this shop. You might be surprised.
I dig Umda for the magnets. They have a small, but mighty selection of killer fridge friends. (I got one here that says, «God Loves You» and has an asterisk. At the bottom, it says, «Some Restrictions May Apply.» Nice. They also have some creative greeting cards and a very patient, smiling staff.
