The reason I chose VenCo was due to Preferred Contractor Status with my insurance and based on several reviews that were both recent and good. I had 3 contractors come out for estimates, and Anthony was the only one I felt comfortable with. He also answered all my questions. This was an insurance claim, and he was very helpful in communicating with the insurance company. He was also very responsive to me and my concerns. We scheduled my job a few weeks in advance and the project was started on the date projected. I picked out my paint and flooring and moved into a hotel for two weeks. Venco had a combination lock and did all the repairs without me having to worry about anything. I would go check on things from time to time and all they«guys» were nice and professional. Anthony and I communicated throughout the project and was quick to respond. The team repaired drywall and painted walls, installed wood floors and baseboards, Installed new door frames and doors. The quality of the work was wonderful. Once the job was complete, Anthony asked me to list any concerns I had with the work. He came by within a week to review my concerns and the final repairs were made within that week. I think my T-molding was delayed/back ordered, which is probably why it took them about two weeks to come back and finish that up. I would definitely hire Venco again.

It appears that the problem with this company is their inability to communicate with their customers in a timely manner. I have emailed, called and text and regarding a bid on my home reconstruction and nothing. I couldn’t be more displeased.

I received a Unilocal message from the new owner/GM, Anthony Venditti, apologizing for the lack of follow-up and stating that the problem has been resolved. He included his cell number, which is a good sign, given that my earlier issue with the company was 100% communication. I don’t need any construction work at the moment, so I can’t give them another chance right now, but I would consider doing so in the future.
