Renaissance Stone Works

We were very pleased with our experience with Renaissance Stone Works. We went to their showroom and found a beautiful remnant for our island. They came and measured one day and came back the next time to tear out and install. They did a wonderful job and the workers were timely and very considerate. Our beautiful new granite island has really enhanced the beauty of our home.

Be sure to ask at every point for hidden costs. I had granite installed in our kitchen and master vanity and had asked if they had a remnant in the vanity to get a discount. I received two emailed quotes with the discounted rate was sent over to me by Courtney (one of their workers). After they installed the Granite, my wife paid them because I was running an errand but for the original amount (without remnant). When I called to let them know I paid too much, they said that they made a mistake and forgot to add labor for the vanity so there was no refund. They actually tried to charge me 68 dollars more for the granite in the kitchen because it didn’t have the seam. I asked them when were they going to let me know of these extra charges and they lied and told me they had told us before. I told them I made my decision on the vanity based on their emailed quote that was 375 dollars less, and I wasn’t comfortable with their bait and switch tactics. They then told me that remnants do not have discounts and that they probably were going to charge me another 1000 more if I had stayed with the first quote. WHEN WERE THEY GOING TO TELL ME THIS? I am VERY impressed with the quality of work at Renaissance. I will say that I spoke to Polly and she is not only extremely knowledgeable, she has impecable customer service skills. They had the best equipment I have seen outside of Italy (I guess they did import all of the equipment from Italy!). Some of the finishes they have are just not available anywhere else. I know of several happy customers who referred me. Judging by their portfolio and their long list of happy customers, I just can’t wait to see my project done!

Really well done. Josephat helped in many ways. There are less expensive granite installers around but none better.
