Ok, so it’s not like I’m always in the store, but I do pick up meds for my dad each month. Walgreens pharmacists (and team) has always been helpful and always accurately provides the meds that have been ordered. So there is a strong history of good customer service. The ante was upped recently by Billy. He greets me by name and I’m reminded of the soda fountain pharmacist who gave meds and treats when I was a wee child.
Thanks Billy for the excellent service.

Rating: pharmacy. Expect HIGH wait times. Current situation: 5 cars in drive through, 3 persons in line in the store, I’m on minute 14 in line. There are only 3 people working. It’s not the employees fault; Walgreens needs to do better about hiring more pharmacy personnel.

I have to give a shout out to this location. Not only were they friendly and proficient. They all went above and beyond for my son. We have dual insurance and have been trying for 2 years to get the additional insurance to pick up co-​pays (Medicaid) for my son. This place did it! After several other Austin Pharmacies could not! Thank you Billy! Billy is their Insurance Expert Pharmacist. We will continue our business with this location!

Don’t go to Walgreens often but when I needed that specific watch size battery for my bike speedometer this place filled the gap. My wife loves this place and its proximity. I can only rate it with a like. The staff were friendly and the store was clean and well stocked. What else needs to be said…

My photo order was screwed up and I had to come back in to have it fixed. Debra, the manager, helped a lot and fixed everything for me.

My wife and I use this location from time to time for convenience. MY wife went in this week to purchase Sudafed to help her with her seasonal allergies.
My wife walks up with two boxes of 24 tabs in her hands. «Sorry, I can’t sell you these» the pharmacy clerk says… ugh we ALWAYS buy two boxes. DEA thing and all she indicates. They she states «but I can sell you this one box with 96 tabs». WTF… now we can get our crystal meth thing on.
Stupid policy especially since you have to give your ID to purchase it in the first place.

I came to this location lastnight. An associate helped me get a print submitted, he said it would be ready at 8am. I was grateful to have an associate help me to ensure my picture will be correct and ready for pick up. Today I get there at 11am! Since i needed this picture as part of my mothers day project. Surely it would be ready by 11am! Nope, the lady couldn’t even find it in the system! She didn’t even find anything in the system that was processed the night before. I asked her if she could print it asap. Then she said «well, the printer is down». Omg!!! Such a waste of time! I have never been soo disappointed.

When this location first opened they always seemed to be understaffed in the pharmacy. They were increasingly short and seemed to rush you. Now that the location is older I expect more. I know they are busy, but so are a lot of pharmacies. Staff accordingly! I always feel uncomfortable and like I’m really inconveniencing the staff by asking questions. Recently it’s gotten a little better, but not enough to make me stay. I’m switching to a new pharmacy.

I had 2 recent bad experiences at the pharmacy. First, I had just left the hospital after a procedure and needed to start take a prescription medication immediately so I went to the drive through. We’re were told it would take an hour for my prescriptions to be ready. We went home and 1 hour later my spouse went back to the pharmacy to pick up my prescriptions. Well, the person «taking care» of us at the drive through, by a mistake started saying, actually discussing with us, that I needed to take the medication the next day even when there were clear instructions about start taking it immediately. The fact was they didn’t have it available at this location and wanted me to wait until the next day for it to arrive. It was upsetting, we went to another location to pick it up.
Few weeks later my spouse needed a prescription and we decided to try this pharmacy again. It was a mistake, the attendant was in a hurry and not helpfull answering our questions.
We definitely will NOT use their pharmacy services anymore.
The staff at the general store is very nice and helpfull, I have nothing to complain about them.

This pharmacy is beyond bad. The employees of the pharmacy act like they would rather be doing anything besides helping you. I have shopped at this store since it opened and have never had a good experience in the pharmacy. It is a shame when you do not feel well or have just come from the doctor’s office, to be treated with such a lack of compassion. The employees of this Walgreen’s pharmacy need to put themselves in their customer’s shoes.

This is the slowest and most disorganized of all the Walgreens pharmacy dept. Bee cave pharmacy is awesome and quick. This one… You can Always count on waiting forever. Hate getting my scripts here. Really stresses me out! The ONLY reason I come here is that I live so close. Think I’d actually be willing to drive to Wm Cannon for a change. :-(

Not my usual Pharmacy, but needed one at 10pm on a Sun. Xavier (hope I have the name right) was very professional and called the clinic to get the med changed to a different one, when he found out I needed a prior auth for the original drug. But most of all he kept me updated on the progress. Thanks!

Dang… is it ME or is Walgreens expensive, yah I said it Expensive! Craziness, my drugstore make-​up is cheaper at the grocery store, weird.

Can’t say that I’ve had any negative experiences at this location, but nothing stands out to really write about. It’s a pain in the ass to reach coming up from S. Brodie.

Walgreens is now helping to restore my faith in humanity. They now carry their own exclusive line of soft drinks that are made with pure cane sugar instead of High Fructose Corn Syrup! Yeah! They have black cherry, orange and root beer. They cost a little more than your staple garbage like Coke, at $ 1.29 for a 16oz bottle (yes I said bottle, as in glass) but they taste so, so nice. We have been stopping by just to buy a cold soda with sugar, like they used to be…

Clean, quiet, well-​stocked with a pleasant staff that is genuinely helpful when you need assistance finding an item or fetching it from ceiling height.
This store is convenient and easy to enter/​exit from Slaughter with plenty of close-​to-​the-​door parking. Hopefully, they’ll do well enough in this location to one day become a 24 hour store.
