Service has improved since my previous review, but it greatly depends on which of the staff is working.

Perfect this time. A really difficult prescription that required research and timing. They saved me $ 300! The place was busy, but things were moving fast. It was nice and clean. Everything all clicked!

I need to find a faster, friendlier pharmacy. This place is like the DMV. The pharmacists are awesome and helpful, but the techs are all phoning it in.

This is the slowest pharmacy I have ever been to. While most of the staff are nice enough, they still seem slightly annoyed by how busy it is as well. I know all staff has their specific jobs, but it is frustrating to see people typing away at a computer or talking to other staff when there are 7+ people in a slowly moving line.

My dr called in an antibiotic and steroid cream for me to pick up. I deliberately killed about an hour as to give them a chance to get everything ready. Zoom in the drive-through and they tell me it’s still not ready and for me to «drive around the parking lot» or come inside where they can page me. I elected to go inside. Chaos. Line is about 10 deep, people seem super stressed out in their department. Customer service is not their forte.

The pharmacy is always a nightmare. It takes forever to get anything filled. There are some employees that you can tell actually try to do their jobs but most seem to hate dealing with customers. Honestly the only reason I go back is because it’s so close to where I live.

So these guys get the job done and that’s about it. The pharmacy is intense and chaotic. Ever person I have meet in the pharmacy are quality, however they really suffer from a consistent form of service. Last time I was in after dropping off my script to be filled I sat patiently for 40 mins waiting for it to be filled, only to find out that it had bee ready for 30 mins. They had called out my name, but the PA system is dreadful and I didn’t recognize my name when it was called. I actually got back in line in order to check to see if my script was ready to find out it had been for the past half hour. They have a state of the art auto fill pill machine, which I would think speed up the process, but as one pharmacist mentioned unless it’s not working. which seems to be more often than it does. I generally feel that all the staff do try to work in a high volume, somewhat stressful environment. During Halloween last month, the Pharmacist who gave my wife a flu shot, came out with a costume head band with a large syringe coming out of it. it was hilarious and she was in good spirits. Knowing the parameters and the expectations going in, we can work with this… however, it would be nice to upgrade. perhaps a number system would work better than an outdated PA system?

I went to this place once after moving in to the neighborhood. It’s the closest pharmacy to my house, but I’m never going back. I wanted to get a flu shot so I went to the pharmacy where I saw a long, purgatory-like line labelled«pick up.» There was also a window labelled«consultations.» I wanted to ask about flu shots so I stood by the window where everyone ignored me. I figured I was doing something wrong so I pushed a big red button labelled«for customer service.» Someone showed up and told me to go stand in the pick-up line. When I first entered the pharmacy there was a guy at the counter getting his prescription filled. As far as I know, that guy is still standing there. I stood in line about 15 minutes. Nobody moved. No one was helped. No one got prescriptions filled or conducted any business. There were at least three people behind the counter. They looked busy but no one was speaking to or helping anyone in the line. Other people got in line behind me, then grew bored, and shuffled off. When, after waiting a quarter of an hour, the first customer was still standing at the register, still being ignored, I decided that this was not a real pharmacy. Maybe it was some psychology experiment to see how long people will wait in lines. I grabbed a box of condoms on my way out, hoping this trip wouldn’t be a complete waste of time. It cost about eight dollars more than it would at the H.E.B. across the street. Never going back. Hope that guy finally got his prescription.

THISREVIEWISFORTHEPHARMACY. There should be two pages, one for the store(which is great) and one for the pharmacy(which is awful)…unless of course you’re looking for a slow, unfriendly staff with no customer service skills. I don’t typically write reviews, but the poor service here is VERYCONSISTENT!!! HAPPENSEVERYTIME I COME!

About the pharmacy: This is a very busy pharmacy and it shows. Even if there is no one in line, there is a hustle in the back as they fill bottles for later pickups. I have had many a mistake happen at this location — everything from forgetting to enter my Rewards points(minor) to giving me attitude when I tried to correct a mistake on their part(major). But for someone who has a disability and who often cannot move around without pain, the drive-thru option is a godsend. About the store: It’s what you expect from Walgreens: clean, well-lit, selling a ton of candy and beer all while telling you«Be Well» as you leave. It’s in a nice neighborhood, so no bums asking for change(unless you count cute little Girl Scouts accosting you to buy cookies).

This Walgreens is great. People are friendly and helpful, pharmacy is prompt and they always have whatever I need.

The customer service in the pharmacy needs work. Whether I have spoken to someone over the phone or in person, they have been nothing but rude. I completely understand that this particular location is busy, but the pharmacy staff needs to remember that customers should not be made to feel like an inconvenience.

I’ve been using this pharmacy for years and love it. They’re a little expensive for things but those are the things you should purchase at heb, walmart or target. The pharmacy is awesome and always very friendly, especially the two pharmacists Tina and Stacey. Extremely helpful and caring.

This pharmacy is the best by far! I wish I could get their exemplary service everywhere I go. The lines get long, but they do their best to make the wait as short as possible. Thanks a million guys!

Never use the pharmacy drive thru between 5pm and 7pm. You will wait for at least an hour.

You won’t believe this, I was told by the pharmacy I needed a prescription for saline. True story: For starters, I don’t use this Walgreen’s or even their pharmacy but it was late and they are 24 hours. I needed saline for my baby’s nebulizer as directed by her pediatrician. I thought I had some and by the time I realized that I did not, it was late and I had to go buy some. I went to this Walgreen’s knowing they were 24 hours and walked to the pharmacy in the back to ask where I could find it and you want to know what they said? «You need a prescription.» I looked at him like he was speaking a nonexistent language and asked«For saline?» and he replied«Yes. You will have to call your pediatrician.» I repeated«you’re telling me that I need a prescription for SALINE?» Again, he said yes with a look on his face that called me crazy. I had some choice words(no cuss words, just some angry rambling, but it was also 11 pm) and I walked out. I don’t care if they are 24 hours… I’m so glad I don’t use their pharmacy because the level of snark I received was uncalled for, especially when I am just a concerned mother. UPDATE: By the way, after checking several locations(CVS, Wal-mart, Target)… I had to call my daughter’s pediatrician and she told me where I could get the saline WITHOUT a prescription but I refuse to post it here because I don’t want the government to take that away from me too. There is NOREASONWHATSOEVER to make saline a prescription product but at least the other pharmacies treated me with a little more respect and not like a crazy mother on a rampage.

Same thing –2nd verse. It seems to me if you have 10 customers waiting for help for over an hour, then you might not have enough staff?

This drug store rocks. I regularly get prescriptions filled here. They are accurate and timely. The only time I had to wait it was due to an error on my part, I put the wrong date in the automated system — the script was still filled in under 10 minutes…

Lots of cheap wine. Lots of overpriced everything else. The girl working the photo counter today has zero customer service/people skills. Took us way too long to get in and out and the poor service came with a heaping helping of attitude. Screw this place.
