This motel is the entrance to hell. Nothing survives except for the kingdom of darkness. Satanic land lords are the gate kee. pers

As I read over the other reviews I can’t help to think that they stopped at the wrong place for what they were expecting. I expected a Mom and Pop motel with no frills but a nice simple clean room where I could lay my head and take a hot shower in the morning. Guess what… that’s the type of place this is. It is not fancy, it does not have turn down, it does not have room service, but it is does have a clean room with a nice bed. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay that is close to downtown in a safe location… Walnut Forest is the place!

The room was 75.00 on a Friday nigh. My Boyfriend and I just wanted a quiet place. The room had holes in the walls. Paint missing off the walls in the other areas. Refrigerator Mildewed the shower had no pressure. The door handle was malfunctioning. The Proprietor was just awful. I asked him to run my card as credit and he screeched that it says debt. Awful service.

Walnut Forest Motel. .. where dreams(and giant cockroaches) go to die. I thought it would be a quaint, charming place to take my girlfriend. Once we opened the door to the room, we realized we’d forgotten something important — hazmat suits. The roach that once lived in the bathroom light had obviously forgotten his. He’d expired some time ago. He was a big one — maybe the king of all roaches — but was still nestled peacefully in the light above the sink(which was right next to the broken window). The TV came on intermittently. It had no regard for when/if we wanted to watch it. It just spotaneously changed channels, powered down, etc. A poltergeist? The ghost of the Great Roach King? Perhaps. We paid $ 50 for this room, mind you. As we trekked down the highway, we saw MUCH nicer places for half the price. My fault for not researching a bit, but wow — they brazenly gouged us. And were unfriendly to boot. This place is a hole. I pray for the day that the earth swallows it up and hell reclaims it.
