Westwoods Liquor

West Woods (which has no affiliation with the Twin Liquors family) is a well-​stocked and tidy liquor store in the always crowded shopping center across from Westbank on Bee Caves Road.
I like West Woods because it seems more intimate and customer friendly than other liquor stores. I can’t put my finger on why. Maybe it’s the soft-​spoken clerk (he may be the owner?) who always has recommendations. Maybe it’s the carefully chosen selection of wine. Maybe it’s the fact that they actually have «sales»…days when you can get a steal on some quality alcohol. Or maybe it’s because they always have fun, thoughtful displays of their product. West Woods has a nice variety of both necessity and frill. They split their shelf space wisely — stocking the basics, but also presenting some creative gift and party packages.
Give West Woods a try. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
